  • Patent number: 9926740
Abstract: A mounting system for a roller blind includes a tension bar for mounting under pressure between first and second sides of a windows frame. The tension bar may provide both long and short adjustment of mounting system width. The tension bar extends through a hollow roller tube of the roller blind, and through a clutch mechanism of the roller blind, and is coupled to end mounting fixtures. The length of the tension bar may be adjusted as a long adjustment of mounting width. Various mechanisms may be associated with one or both of the end mounting fixtures for short adjustment of mounting width, such as a latch mechanism, wedge mechanism, spring-loaded mechanism, or turn-buckle system. End pads at the ends of the blind provide friction and absorb excess pressure. The mounting mechanism serves as a universal window blind bracket and support rod, which requires no screws or nails to install.

  • Patent number: 9598002
Abstract: A hydraulic excavator is a work vehicle equipped with a work implement, including a cab and a rotating light. The rotating light is removably disposed on a roof of the cab. The rotating light has a rotating light main body, an attachment component, and a handle. The attachment component is provided on the lower side of the rotating light main body and is used to attach the rotating light main body to the roof. The handle is portal-shaped and fixed to the attachment component, and has a first rod-shaped part, a second rod-shaped part, and a third rod-shaped part. The first rod-shaped part and the second rod-shaped part are formed facing upward from the attachment component. The third rod-shaped part connects the first rod-shaped part and the second rod-shaped part together. The third rod-shaped part is disposed above the rotating light main body when viewed from the side and perpendicular to the lengthwise direction.

  • Patent number: 7377063
Abstract: A switching gesture display device for vehicles includes a main box and a shaft rotatably mounted in the main box with opposite ends extending through and outside the main box, the shaft being rotatable between an initial position and a rotated position. Two primary indicia displays are mounted on the opposite ends of the shaft, the two primary indicia displays being displayed in a generally upright position when the shaft is in the initial position, and two secondary indicia displays are mounted on the shaft generally adjacent the two primary indicia displays, the two secondary indicia displays being displayed in a generally upright position when the shaft is in the rotated position. A shaft rotation device rotates the shaft between the initial position and the rotated position to alternatively display the two primary indicia displays in the initial position and the two secondary indicia displays in the rotated position.

  • Patent number: 6598556
Abstract: The present invention is an aerodynamic wind riding antenna ornament comprising a main body adapted to be rotatably and slidably attached to an antenna mast. The main body has an aerodynamic lifting surface to harness airflow from the movement of a vehicle to move the ornament up and down the antenna mast. The main body also has an aperture of sufficient size to allow for the device to freely slide up and down an antenna mast. Retaining means is removably coupled to the aerodynamic lifting surface near the aperture to prevent the aerodynamic wind riding antenna ornament from sliding off the top of the antenna. The retaining means can comprise a snap-on clip, spring-like clip, or a portion of an ornamental figure removably coupled to the main body. Optional stopper clamps can be removably coupled to the antenna to restrict where the device travels on the antenna. The device can have optically perceived indicia to increase the appearance.

  • Patent number: 5589814
Abstract: Considering the latest vehicle anti-theft systems and anti-theft warning systems that abound today, the theft of vehicles has not been slowed down to any appreciable amount. In fact, the car theft industry lids virtually kept pace with the car manufacturing industry. This invention has taken a common sense and practical approach to an anti-vehicle theft system that renders the front windshield opaque when the ignition switch is turned on and the vehicle is attempted to be stolen, while the security control switch is placed in the "on" mode. One embodiment was a thermopane type windshield with a space between two plates of unbreakable glass. The space between the two plates of glass has an opaque curtain or blind pulled up inside the void space from the bottom of the windshield to the top of the windshield to render the entire windshield opaque. Another embodiment is to provide several optional features that may be purchased by persons with limited funds although these options are not really required.

  • Patent number: 4871995
Abstract: An electric power driven sign raiser mounted inside a vehicle bvelow and inside a rear window. The unit is electrically conneced to be activated when the brake light come on with actuation of the brakes. Upon actuation an electromagnet and an electric motor are energized with the electric motor driving a sign lever up to the raised state with the sign showing through the rear window to a position where a switch is thrown cutting off power to the electric motor. The electromagnet holds the sign in the raised position for following drivers to see through the rear window and then when the vehicle brake pedal is released the electromagnet is de-energized and the sign falls back down to its lowered out of sight state ready for reactivation raising with the next application of the vehicle brakes.
