Abstract: An automated plant cultivation system is provided having multi-tiered vertically arranged horizontal magazine structures each employing seed or plant capsules with a fluid circulation and illumination and communication network controlled by an on-board processor. Particularly, the system includes a magazine structure having seed/plant capsules within seed/plant reservoirs alternately arranged between at least one of a light source substantially concealed from direct viewing. A fluid channel extends across a long axis of the magazine structure, wherein the magazine structure is adapted for use of seed/plant capsules with nutrient composite plant growth cultivation, hydroponic plant growth cultivation, aeroponic plant growth cultivation methods or combinations thereof.

Abstract: An aquarium includes a curved aquarium housing that supports water, the water including a water surface that separates water from air within the housing. The aquarium also includes a lighting system coupled to the aquarium housing, the lighting system including an arm and a light element disposed at an end of the arm and outside of the aquarium housing that directs light into the aquarium housing at an angle less than 90 degrees relative to the water surface.

Abstract: A wall mountable tank system for holding live flora or fauna includes an integrally formed tank including a rear panel, a bottom panel, and at least one of a front panel, first side panel, and second side panel. The panels define a tank interior for containing the flora or fauna. The rear panel includes a mounting portion having a receiving groove. A mounting member capable of being fixedly coupled to a vertical mounting surface is provided. The mounting member includes a tongue portion receivable in the receiving groove for engaging the mounting member to the tank.

Abstract: A wall mounted aquarium, is constructed from a structural material frame and a glass aquarium mounted within the frame. Preferably, the structural material is a metal that can be welded, such as steel. Structural polymeric materials and composites now known and hereafter developed, can be used. The structural material frame has a front side and a rear side. Preferably, it is formed from a pair of vertically oriented “U” shaped channel members. A horizontal “U” shaped channel member and the pair of vertical “U” shaped channel members are bonded together to form a “U” shaped frame unit. The “U” shaped channel members open inwardly. A glass aquarium having five sides and an open top end is mounted within the frame. One of the sides is a front side, one of the sides is a bottom side, one of the sides is a rear side and two of the sides are ends. The channel members can be tubular or have an open “U” configuration.

Abstract: A wall-mountable aquarium has a slim tank for containing water to keep living aquatic animals or plants. The tank includes a transparent front wall, a rear wall, opposite left and right side walls and a bottom wall, with the side and bottom walls being considerably narrower than the front and rear walls. A fixed enclosure is provided externally on at least one of the left and right side walls and bottom wall for containing part of accessory for the aquarium. A frame is attached on the front wall, which conceals the enclosure from direct sight from the front and includes a see-through portion therein to reveal only the living habitat inside the tank through the front wall.

The display assembly has a chamber with opposite front and rear walls, opposite end walls extending between the front and rear walls, an open top defined by the front, rear and end walls and a bottom opposite the top. At least one of the front and rear walls is transparent. The display assembly includes a mounting assembly securable to opposite sides of the passage for mounting the chamber to the opposite sides of the passage. The mounting assembly is movable between an in-wall configuration wherein the chamber is disposed in the passage and an access position wherein at least the top of the vessel extends from the wall to provide access to its interior.

Abstract: A hollow container molded from glass or other transparent material in various shapes and sizes to be used as a fishbowl that will hang on a wall. The fishbowl is designed with two indented hollow cavity slots imbedded at the top of its back, which will allow the fishbowl to be placed on and removed from fasteners fixed in a wall, without removing the fasteners, for easy cleaning and maintenance. The benefit of this invention is that it is smaller than an aquarium, and is more properly categorized as a fishbowl. It is distinct from an aquarium in that it is one molded piece of glass with its hanging device formed in the back of the bowl itself. Installation is achieved by installing two simple screws in a vertical wall, which are hidden once the fishbowl is in place, leaving no awkward, unsightly exterior hanging device.

Abstract: A wall mountable aquarium includes a tank that has an interior space defined by a front wall, a back wall, a bottom wall and a pair of end walls. The interior space is adapted for containing fish and a habitat to support the fish. A sill plate is adapted to be coupled to a bottom of a frame for the picture window such that the sill plate is adapted to be aligned to the tank with the frame for the picture window. A heater assembly is coupled to the bottom wall of the tank; the heating assembly has an intake conduit and an output conduit adapted for circulating water of the habitat through a heat exchanger for warming the water.

Abstract: A tank is combined with a picture frame. The tank has a housing with a recessed portion extending into the interior of the tank. The recessed portion is preferably unitarily formed in a front panel of the tank. The recessed portion is reinforced. The tank preferably has a flat bottom to be used on a table top, and has mounting brackets so it may be hung on a wall. The tank may serve as a fish tank, or other tank, and is preferably a clear plastic.

Abstract: An aquarium for mounting on a wall comprising a water holding receptacle having a front panel, a bottom panel, a pair of side panels, and a back panel. One or more elongated rods are placed on the surface of the back panel. Two or more holes extend through the back panel below the top edge of the back panel. A longitudinal strip of panel covering less than one fourth of the surface of the front panel is mounted across the surface of the front panel extending immediately below a top edge of the front panel.

Abstract: Recently it has been found that terrariums which house plants make interesting wall hangings. Animal terrariums make even more interesting wall hangings. In utilizing terrariums as wall-mounted terrariums there is the possibility of their being knocked off of the wall, particularly terrariums housing animals. These must be larger and more sturdily constructed, and are heavier. There is, then, a need for a hanging means which securely supports a terrarium on a wall. This invention provides such a hanger. The hanging means includes a hanging bracket adapted for attachment to the back of the wall hanging, and a supporting bracket adapted for attachment to a wall.

Abstract: A sea current generator aquarium including an air fight water chamber located at one end of the aquarium with a first opening into the aquarium extending across the bottom of the chamber. At the opposite end of the aquarium between the end wall and a horizontal divider wall is a second opening into an upper chamber which is open to atmosphere. A constant flow air pump is connected to the water chamber for pumping air in and expelling water out of the first opening into the aquarium and then into the upper chamber. An air valve which cycles open or closed, connects the water chamber to atmosphere and in its vented position, the valve dumps the capacity of the pump and allows the elevated water column in the aquarium and upper chamber to move back into the water chamber through both openings until the valve cycles closed thereby creating a back and forth current of water within the bottom regions of the aquarium.

Abstract: An aquarium includes a container to receive water and live fish therein, and a hanging unit by which the container is adapted to be hung on a stationary wall. The container includes a vertical rectangular rear wail, a horizontal rectangular bottom wall, two trapezoid side walls, and a downwardly and rearwardly inclined rectangular front wall with a transparent piece fitted sealingly therein. Each of the trapezoid side walls has a vertical rear side coupled with the rear wall, a horizontal bottom side coupled with the bottom wall, a horizontal top side which is longer than the bottom side, and an inclined front side coupled with the front wall. The hanging unit includes two hanging holes formed through the rear wall of the container, and two hooks which extend through the hanging holes to fasten on the stationary wall so as to hang the aquarium on the stationary wall.

Abstract: A wall mounted aquarium includes an aquarium, a frame which holds the aquarium, and brackets which mount the frame to a wall. The frame has a bottom member, side members, and a top member. The bottom and side members are generally C-shaped to define a groove sized to receive the aquarium and are joined together to vertically and slideably receive the aquarium in the groove. The frame top fits over the aquarium. The wall brackets have openings which slidably receive downwardly and outwardly extending tabs from the frame side members to removably mount the frame and aquarium to a wall.
