Abstract: Disclosed herein is a pet carrier for transporting a pet in a vehicle. The pet carrier includes a housing comprising a back wall, a front wall opposite the back wall, a first side wall, a second side wall opposite the first side wall, a top wall, a bottom wall opposite the top wall, and a door formed in at least one of the first side wall and the second side wall. At least one dimension of the housing is adjustable. The pet carrier also includes a wall reinforcement system. The wall reinforcement system includes at least one front reinforcement strap, coupled to and extending across the front wall, and side reinforcement straps each, coupled to and extending across corresponding ones of the first side wall and the second side wall. The at least one front reinforcement strap is coupled to the side reinforcement straps.

Abstract: A multiple purpose container assembly may include a lid and a housing having at least one access port. The lid, the housing, or both may include insulating material to help retard heat transfer between the interior of the assembly and the exterior. In one configuration, the assembly provides an insulating sheltering functionality for a small pet, for example. In a second configuration, the access port is blocked and the assembly provides container functionality as an ice chest, cooler, or bulk container for example.

Abstract: A pet travel system includes a pet storage module and a closet within an interior cabin of a vehicle. The pet storage module has multiple module walls and a door that enclose a cavity configured to receive a pet. The pet storage module includes one or more first latch members attached to one or more of the module walls. The closet includes closet walls defining a compartment sized to receive the pet storage module therein. The closet further includes one or more second latch members attached to one or more of the closet walls. Each second latch member is configured to releasably connect to a corresponding first latch member to secure the pet storage module within the closet during a trip of the vehicle.

Abstract: An animal container. The animal container includes a housing sized to fit an animal, such as a pet, within. The housing includes a plurality of sides. The plurality of sides includes a first side having a first opening leading into the housing and a second side having a second opening leading into the housing. A gate is secured to the housing and is spring biased in a closed position covering the first opening. The gate pivots against the spring bias in a direction towards an interior of the housing when a force is applied against the gate from outside of the housing. A first door is secured to the housing and covers the second opening.

Abstract: A pet stroller with an adjustable structure of strut and canopy includes a pet stroller body, an adjustable supporting frame and an adjustable canopy. The adjustable supporting frame includes two rotation shaft boxes respectively arranged on the inner sides of the folding brace of the two sides of the pet stroller body. Each rotation shaft box includes a canopy strut extended diagonally upwards from the front end thereof and a front window strut extended forward parallelly from the front end thereof. The adjustable canopy covers on the external side of the pet stroller body and corresponds to the adjustable supporting frame, so as to allow the adjustable canopy to be transformed among a covering mode, a front opening mode, and a full-opening mode through adjusting the positions of the canopy strut and the front window strut.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and apparatus to support transport of a pet in a self-contained expandable carrier. In some examples, the carrier may be worn by a user to support the pet in a proximate location. A pet carrier which may be worn may provide comfort to pet owners while they travel.

Abstract: A system for increasing the cleanliness of a sleeping area of a domesticated animal is disclosed. The system includes an inflatable mattress having a top opposing a bottom and a four sides. The top and sides of the mattress comprise non-permeable material configured for easy removal of dirt and other contaminants. A removable cover for covering the top and a portion of the four sides is removably coupled to the mattress by a plurality of fasteners. The removable cover comprises material that is washable. A plurality of downward facing suctions cups are affixed to the bottom of the inflatable mattress. The suction cups affixed to the bottom of the inflatable mattress are configured for preventing movement of the mattress when the suction cups engage an external surface.

Abstract: A transporting unit for live poultry including a quadrangular supporting frame and a plurality of drawer-type cages open at the top, arranged in a superimposed condition in the frame and slidably displaceable outwards through a first side of the supporting frame, in a partially extracted condition to enable loading of the poultry from a site located at a second side of the frame from the lowermost drawer kept inserted within the frame. The frame is configured to enable simultaneous loading of the poultry into each drawer-type cage from an additional site located at a third side of the supporting frame which is opposite to the second side.

Abstract: A portable cat carrier has a sliding floor that momentarily and mildly destabilizes a cat's footing to facilitate transferring the cat in and out of the carrier. The floor is the bottom portion of a movable insert that has a receptacle for receiving the cat. The insert has relatively low side panels to provide the cat with a calming, unrestricted side view. After the cat is lowered into the receptacle, the insert is slid horizontally into an outer housing for containing the cat. When the insert is fully inserted within the housing, a front panel of the insert closes the housing's access opening to prevent the cat from escaping. A back panel of the insert has an elevated impassable rear barrier that prevents the cat from jumping into a trapped area between the insert and the outer housing.

Abstract: Washing of the supporting frames of units for transporting live poultry from the breeding farm to the slaughterhouse is carried out, following upon extraction of the drawer-type cages containing the poultry, after positioning the supporting frame in a condition where it is rotated through 90° with respect to the transport configuration. Washing is carried out via a network of tubes and spray nozzles that can be displaced vertically from a raised, inoperative, position to a lowered, washing, position, where said network sets itself around the rotated supporting frame. After the supporting frame has been washed, it is repositioned in the transport configuration.

Abstract: A colony basket and method of using the same for handling poultry from DOC through the growing process and on to a production facility comprising a harvesting system, a loading system, a transport system, an unloading and storing system, hanging system and cleaning system. The system and method performs the steps of harvesting and colonizing live poultry into a singly stackable and transportable colony basket, stacking and loading the trays on a transport, unloading and temporarily storing the poultry for subsequent processing. The system and method further includes the use of a modular colony basket for interchangeable use with the described system.

Abstract: A reduced-weight poultry cage is used in conjunction with a reduced-weight trailer to transport live poultry for maximizing the poundage of poultry being transported while reducing the number of trips and fuel expenses. The poultry cage includes a combination of aluminum and plastic elements that reduce cage weight, provide for nesting of cages in stacks as well as easy replacement of failed parts. Furthermore, a drop-deck aluminum trailer with a reduced floor and guide rail alignment stops allows for a durable yet lightweight trailer that can haul a plurality of stacks of these poultry cages, thereby maximizing cubic feet availability while being compliant with various road and bridge laws.

The enclosure of the animal carrier can be formed by the attachment of two side panels, and optionally a front panel, to the frame. The animal carrier can be mounted onto an automotive seat by the passage of an installation belt though a belt path or channel formed through either the back or floor panel.

Abstract: The invention features an animal carrier that is designed to more easily place an animal (e.g., a cat or dog) into the carrier. The carrier features a funnel that can be attached to the body of the carrier, that is sized to permit passage of the animal through the funnel, that is oriented to convey the animal by gravity into the carrier, and that can be removed once the animal has been delivered into the carrier. The invention also features a retrofit funnel that is adapted to be securely attached to an opening of a standard animal carrier.

The method includes forming a base from a side support, front support, and a plurality of casters. A door assembly and back wall are coupled to the base by aligning a plurality of pegs therefrom with corresponding openings defined in the base. A plurality of protruding wires of a bottom wall are aligned and inserted into corresponding openings defined in the door assembly and back wall. In addition, a plurality of pegs that protrude from a side wall are inserted into a plurality of corresponding openings defined in the door assembly and back wall such that the side wall couples to the door assembly and back wall. The method also includes coupling a top wall to the door assembly, side wall, and back wall. Abstract: The present invention provides a kind of foldable pet cage, including a folding back frame, a rotatable seat board, a decorating facet and a foldable fence component. The rotatable seat board has a supporting board and a pivot side hinged on the landing board of the folding back frame so that the rotatable seat board can be rotated to the horizontal using status or to the vertical position to close the folding space of the folding back frame. The decorating facet is configured on the outside of the rotatable seat board. The foldable fence component has a front fence and two side fences. The carrier device includes a plurality of panels configured to form a hollow enclosure for housing the animal and a strap for connecting the enclosure to the motor vehicle. The panels and the frame are configured to allow the enclosure to collapse so that the carrier can be folded. The strap includes fastening mechanisms at each end. A portion of the strap located between the two ends is connected to one of the panels of the enclosure so that during a sudden acceleration or deceleration of the motor vehicle, the animal is restrained within the enclosure and a force exerted on the enclosure is transferred to the motor vehicle.

The stackable transport trays are well vented and easier for handling poultry.

Abstract: An animal restraint and carrier is disclosed which comprises a generally rectangular case hinged to permit at least one side to open and an adjoining side having an opening sized to permit an animal enclosed in the case to extend its head and neck. An optional clamping device surrounding the opening may be closed on the neck to restrain the animal's head to facilitate treating or cleaning ears, eyes or teeth and the giving of oral medications. The case is preferably sized such that when closed the animal may stand comfortably, but not turn around within the case. Abstract: A cage is provided for holding and transporting livestock. The cage includes a door with a horizontal top rod that slides along a top member of a side grate when opening and closing the door. The cage also includes four lifting lugs to assist in the moving of the cages. Also provided is a method of loading livestock into such a cage.

Abstract: A foldable/collapsible structure that folds or collapses between a collapsed condition and an expanded condition. The structure includes a top and a bottom panel, and a pair of opposing sidewalls extending between the top and bottom panels. The opposing sidewalls each include a wall panel and an upper wall panel connected to one another by a hinge. Each of the wall panels and the upper wall portions has an external surface, and the hinged connection between the first and second wall panels allows the external surfaces of the respective all panels and upper wall portions to define an angle equal to or greater than 180 degrees. Upon collapse of the structure, the hinged connection between the wall panel and upper wall portion on one of the opposing walls maintains the external surfaces of the wall panel and upper wall portion at an angle equal to or greater than about 180 degrees.

Abstract: A pet transporter that can be towed behind a wheeled vehicle is disclosed. The pet transporter comprises a carrier member, a frame adapted to receive the carrier member, a pair of side bows attached to the side walls of the carrier and to the frame, a pair of wheel assemblies attached to the frame on opposite sides of the carrier, and an attachment arm with a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is adapted to be attached to the frame proximate the front wall of the carrier and the second end is adapted to releasably attach to a rear axle of a wheeled vehicle. The pet transporter has a low center of gravity, making tipping of the pet transporter more difficult. In addition, few tools are required to assemble and disassemble the pet transporter.
