Abstract: A cage has an enclosure and a waste-treatment tank. The waste-treatment tank has a holding tank and a holder. The holding tank has an internal chamber, multiple vertical partitions, a horizontal partition and multiple filter tubes. The vertical partitions and the horizontal partitions are mounted inside the internal chamber and the horizontal partition is mounted perpendicular to the vertical partitions and forms multiple chambers. The filter tubes are mounted on the horizontal partition. The holder is mounted on the holding tank and has a waste-collection tray with a flushing hole and a trap connected to the flushing hole. Excrement is collected by the waste-collection tray of the holder and divided by the filter tubes to prevent solid waste from flowing directly into a drainage system. Further, the trap is sealed by water and prevents noxious smells from escaping back into the enclosure.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a litter box and a method for dealing with cat litter. The litter box comprises a first litter box half with a first recess and a second litter box half with a second recess. The second litter box half engages with the first litter box half to form an enclosure such that the first recess aligns with the second recess to form an entrance to the enclosure through which an animal can enter the enclosure. Additionally, the litter box comprises a screen which fits into either the first litter box half or the second litter box half. The screen has panels so the screen can be lifted from either the first litter box half or the second litter box half.

Abstract: A bird cage having a frame including a base assembly, cover assembly and corner towers that join the base and cover assemblies. The front, back, sides and top of the cage are enclosed by wire grills. The towers are made of light pervious material such as clear or translucent plastic and carry feeding stations. The cage is expandable. The base assembly includes an easily removable tray for collecting droppings in the cage, and the tray carries a wire grill platform within the cage which may be removed by partially withdrawing the tray and without otherwise disturbing the base assembly. A bird cage stand composed of two identical but inverse sub-assemblies provides storage space for feed and cage accessories.

  • Patent number: 6626129
Abstract: The Aqua Clean BirdCage Companion is a hydraulic waste and airborne contaminant containment system disposed beneath a birdcage, occupying a bird. The birdcage, having a grid floor retains and separates the bird from the system, while allowing the waste and airborne contaminants from the caged bird to gravitate to the system's constant medium being a hydraulic body of water contained in a tray beneath the birdcage. Our constant medium traps, contains and moves waste and airborne contaminants within it's water to a plurality of filters. The waste filled water passes through the filters. The filters remove the waste materials. The now filtered water is returned by electric pump and discharged into the tray's constant medium creating the hydraulic body, which traps and contains new waste for removal. The filters continually renew the water in this closed hydraulic waste and airborne contaminant containment system.
