  • Patent number: 12144319
Abstract: A soundproof dog kennel includes a box-shaped housing with noise-dampening walls and an opening for dog ingress/egress. One or more walls has a baffle configuration with hollow corridors, an air intake end, and an exhaust end. A fan at the intake end forces air through the corridors to dampen ambient noise. An extractor removes stale air. Speakers may play predetermined sounds such as white noise, music, or sound transmitted from the surroundings (after going through a filtering process) inside. Oxygen and other levels are monitored. A light source and electric door latch are included. The kennel protects dogs from noise pollution like fireworks, engines, and airplane auxiliary power units that cause distress. Baffles disrupt sound waves to insulate the interior. The kennel provides a safe, quiet space for dogs.

  • Patent number: 11787263
Abstract: A wireless mobile device is used to control an HVAC temperature setpoint in a police vehicle containing a police dog. A wireless signal specifying a commanded temperature setting is checked to prevent malicious adjustments by a hacker. The commanded temperature setting is rejected when it is outside a predetermined range between an absolute minimum and an absolute maximum. When an outside ambient temperature is below a cold-day threshold, then the commanded temperature setting is rejected when it requests a temperature decrease. When the outside ambient temperature is above a hot-day threshold, then the commanded temperature setting is rejected when it requests a temperature increase. Otherwise, when the commanded temperature setting is not rejected as being outside the predetermined range, as being a decrease when below the cold-day threshold, or as being an increase when above the hot-day threshold, then the temperature setpoint is set to match the commanded setting.

Abstract: This system provides an air-ventilating and cleaning element positioned within a housing. The housing contains multiple vents in the housing walls. The vents serve as channels that enable air to flow into and out of the air-ventilating device. The air-ventilating and cleaning element can vary and can range from a simple air ventilator to and an air purifier. The cleaning element can contain a filter element to further facilitate cleaning of the air. The cleaning element can be positioned in the housing on a track or pin to allow for movement of the cleaning element within the housing. Movement of the cleaning element may be desired in order to more efficiently clean air channeled through the device. Because of the ability to move the cleaning element, air flow through the device can be adjusted depending on a particular cleaning application.

Abstract: An air-conditioning device generating cool/warm airflow and suitable for a pet house includes a casing having an outlet and an inlet. A cool/warm air conditioner is provided transversely in the casing to divide the casing into two flowing paths. The cool/warm air conditioner provides the two flowing paths with a cool temperature and a warm temperature, respectively. An airflow-dividing valve comprises a dividing plate provided at the outlet of the casing and a connecting pipe provided on the dividing plate. Each gas-supplying hole is provided on the dividing plate to correspond to the two flowing paths, respectively. Each wind unit is provided within the two flowing paths. With the airflow generated by the two wind units, the cool and warm temperature air generated by the cool/warm air conditioner can be transferred in a form of airflow to the gas-supplying holes. The user can choose the cool air or the warm air via the connecting pipe to adjust the temperature within the pet house.
