Abstract: A pet animal odor absorbing mat comprising a mat or pad formed of a fibrous material, such as a cellulosic material, and which is integrally incorporated with a zeolite mineral during the manufacture of the mat. The pad or mat is primarily based on the cellulosic or other fibrous material such as for example, wood fiber. The wood fibers are mixed with a binding agent such as an acrylic latex or other animal non-toxic binder, and the zeolite while in somewhat of a semi-viscous and semi-liquid state and then allowed to harden. The mat is highly effective for use as a bottom layer in cat litter boxes to absorb both urine or other wetness and highly effective, in literally entrapping odors, such as those odors arising from pet animals. The mat thereupon simultaneously releases oxygen. This type of mineral has been found to be particularly effective in removing those odors arising both from the animal urine, as well as other animal excreta.
Abstract: A cattle mattress made from a woven fabric which is double-woven in areas across the fabric into which crumb rubber is inserted and which are closed off after insertion of the crumb rubber to make a self-contained structure for the comfort of animals.
Abstract: A cattle mattress made from a double needle bar knit fabric in which the top and bottom layers tire joined at intervals across the fabric, forming tubes into which crumb rubber is inserted and which are closed off after insertion of the crumb rubber to make a self-contained structure for the comfort of animals.
Abstract: In an animal stall, a brisket board extends along the front end portion of the floor, and a keeper board extends along the rear portion of the floor. An animal mattress is disposed on the floor between the brisket board and the keeper board, with the mattress extending over the keeper board. The mattress includes a fabric enclosure having a plurality of separate compartments within the enclosure, and comminuted rubber from used vehicle tires is disposed within each compartment. A top fabric blanket is disposed over the mattress with an end of the blanket attached to the keeper board, and an opposed end of the blanket attached to the brisket board.
Abstract: A lightweight, portable grooming stall for an animal includes a substantially U-shaped bar having a front portion and two legs. A three point support system couples with the U-shaped bar so as to maintain the U-shaped bar in a horizontal attitude. A base system is coupled to the three point support system. The base system underlies the U-shaped bar. A restraint system is variably positioned across the two legs of the U-shaped bar. The base system includes a second substantially U-shaped bar supported on a floor level. The second U-shaped bar underlies the U-shaped bar. A mat is arranged to overlie the second U-shaped bar.
