Patent number: 11659880Abstract: A utility belt is disclosed. The utility belt comprises a belt track, a ball bearing assembly, and an extender assembly. The belt track includes a first belt section having a first male locking mechanism and a first female locking mechanism, and a second belt section having a second male locking mechanism and a second female locking mechanism. The first male locking mechanism connects to the second female locking mechanism. The second male locking mechanism connects to the first female locking mechanism. The first belt section and the second belt section each comprises an outer sheath and an inner tube. The inner tube includes a plurality of C-shaped rings. The ball bearing assembly has a ball bearing and a joint. The ball bearing rotates about the belt track. An extender assembly is coupled to the belt track and includes at least one connector and at least one spacer.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2021Date of Patent: May 30, 2023Assignee: FLODOGGIE, LLCInventor: Paul Roberson

Patent number: 9010278Abstract: An animal run line cornering mechanism with a corner component and leash component. The corner component is dumbbell shaped with a narrow body, a ball at one end with an aperture for the line, and a support attachment. The leash component has a tubular line ring with a shaped gap so that it appears C-shaped in end view, and leash ring attached to the line ring. The gap is wider than the corner component body and narrower than the line so that it is captured by the line. The line ring diameter is larger than the corner component ball and line diameters so that it moves freely along the line. The gap is defined by opposed edges of the line ring walls that taper to a rounded apexes. When the body hits the a tapered line ring wall, the body slides along the wall until it slides through the gap.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2009Date of Patent: April 21, 2015Inventors: Paul E. Publication number: 20150096502Abstract: A dog leash and run restraint system which allows significant area of movement for a dog in a backyard or other area. A pulley member is positioned on a main line that is connected between two support structures, such as between a house and a tree. An retractable leash mechanism is attached to the pulley member. A protective housing member for the pulley member can also be provided. Stop members can be positioned on the main line to limit movement of the pulley member.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 14, 2013Publication date: April 9, 2015Inventor: Frederick T. Weston

Patent number: 7040255Abstract: A pet restraint system includes anchors at either end with a cable extending between the anchors. Intermediate cable supports are positioned between the anchors. A trolley with a pet leash attachment slides along the cable with three wheels engaging the cable. One of the wheels is movable and moves to a second position to permit the trolley to travel across the intermediate cable supports.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 2004Date of Patent: May 9, 2006Inventor: Michael D. Patent number: 6886498Abstract: An animal leash and running device for allowing movement of leashed animal includes an elongated flexible member. The flexible member extends through a runner such that the runner may be selectively positioned along a length of the flexible member. An elongated tubular member has a bend therein such that the elongated tubular member forms an obtuse angle. The flexible member extends through the elongated tubular member. A coupler is attached to the elongated tubular member for selectively coupling the elongated tubular member to a vertical structure. A leash has a first end and a second end. The first end of the leash is attached to the runner. The second end of the leash may be releasably coupled to an animal.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2003Date of Patent: May 3, 2005Inventor: Francis A. Rochette

Patent number: 5746157Abstract: An animal restraint apparatus is attached to a horizontal surface and includes a guide unit which includes a carriage-retention channel. A carriage unit is received by the carriage-retention channel of the guide unit. The carriage unit includes a main body portion, a wheel assembly connected to a portion of the main body portion encompassed by the carriage-retention channel of the guide unit, and an animal connector connected to the main body portion. Attachment means connect the guide unit to the horizontal surface. The wheel assembly includes a pair of axles received by the main body portion of the carriage unit. Two pairs of wheels are connected to ends of the pair of axles. The carriage-retention channel of the guide unit includes a base portion. A pair of side walls project upward from the base portion. A pair of ridges project toward each other from top portions of the side walls. A pair of end walls are connected to longitudinal ends of the side walls and the base portion.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 1996Date of Patent: May 5, 1998Inventor: Robin Warwaruk
