  • Patent number: 10138808
Abstract: A dual piston engine compression device provides opposed pistons in linear alignment for compressing explosive gases within an engine block cylinder. The device includes an engine block having a plurality of cylinders having linearly aligned open ends. Each of a pair of piston crankshafts is positioned on a respective side of the engine block in alignment with the cylinders. Pistons are positioned in pairs within each cylinder and coupled to an associated one of the piston crankshafts such that rotation of the piston crankshafts moves the pistons within the associated cylinder. Each piston crankshaft is rotated by an associated gear. The gears are geared together coordinating the piston crankshafts to alternately urge oppositely positioned pistons together and apart within the associated cylinders as the piston crankshafts rotate.

  • Patent number: 7418924
Abstract: A livestock feeder (50) includes a gravity pulled, fold-down grill (56,57) on both sides of a main frame (51) that can hold a supply of livestock feed such as a hay bale (82) therein. The fold-down grills face each other and fold down on a hay bale positioned on the floor (60) of the feeder as the hay bale is consumed by livestock such as a horse. Grill spacer bars (65,101) are positioned apart from each other to allow only the muzzle of the feeding animal to reach there through and grasp the hay. The feeder also includes a pair of pivot arms (96-99) at the base of each grill to pivot the grill toward the floor of the feeder. Each pivot arm extends from a rotatable member (69-72) connected to the frame. The rotatable members and grill are lifted to hang the grill on a pair of latches (75-78) that lock the grill in a locked upright position for loading of another bale on the feeder floor through an end gate (58,59) that is rotatably connected to the main frame.

  • Patent number: 5794565
Abstract: A pet feeding station comprising a generally rectangular tray with a horizontal mount having a recess to receive and support at least one dish for containing water or pet food. The horizontal mount is provided with openings or perforations which allow spillage from the individual dishes to collect in the tray. Additionally, the horizontal mount pivots to an out of the way position for cleaning and retrieving for re-use particulate pet food. In this way, the tray can be kept clear of spillage, while allowing the water to be collected for disposal and the particulate food matter to be collected for re-use. A pair of trays, each with a horizontal mount for receiving and supporting a dish to provide food and water to the pet, is preferred and also provided is a fastener to releasably interconnect the pair.
