Internal Patents (Class 122/118)
  • Patent number: 11112108
Abstract: A superheated steam boiler includes an inner tank system including a wet tank and a dry tank separated by an isolation member, an outer sleeve surrounding the inner tank system, wherein wet tank fluid openings allow the wet tank to be in communication with the outer sleeve, and dry tank steam openings in the dry tank allow the dry tank to be in communication with the outer sleeve, and a burner system within the inner tank system. The burner system includes a combustion/expansion chamber having spherical surfaces located in and fluidly isolated from the wet tank, a distribution chamber located in and fluidly isolated from the dry tank, heat tubes extending through the isolation member between the combustion/expansion chamber and the distribution chamber; and an exhaust tube extending from the distribution chamber and out of the inner tank system to exit the boiler.

  • Patent number: 6672256
Abstract: A trefoil for a rotary kiln is provided that has at least three spoke-like refractory legs. Each one of the legs extends radially outwardly from a center of the trefoil; spans approximately from the kiln shell to the center of the kiln; is pre-formed outside of the kiln for installation as a single-leg unit; and has a mating surface that preferably is uniform and even, thereby lacking interlocking features. The mating surfaces of the legs abut one another at the kiln center to provide mutual support. An alignment member, such as a pair of longitudinal angles, are welded to the kiln shell to position the legs. A corresponding method of installing the trefoil is disclosed that includes positioning and shimming the first two legs at the 4 o'clock position and 8 o'clock position, and installing the third leg at the 12 o'clock position.

  • Patent number: 6030216
Abstract: A dentistry hand piece is provided wherein a rotation of a drive motor is converted into an oscillation of a receiving part for a dentistry tool. The conversion of the rotation into the oscillation takes place in an attachment head (3) of the hand piece. The longitudinal axis (51) of the receiving part (8, 8') for the tool in the attachment head (3) is arranged at an angle (preferably approximately at right-angles) to the longitudinal axis (53) of the neck area (1) of the hand piece adjoining the attachment head (3), and the plane of oscillation of the receiving part (8, 8') for the tool is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (51) of the receiving part (8, 8').
