Abstract: A mobile water heating apparatus for rapidly heating large volumes of water, such as swimming pools, hot tubs, etc., at multiple sites includes a water heater, a water pump, and a water circuit comprising flexible conduit for direct coupling between the pool of water to be heated and the mobile water heating apparatus. The mobile water heating apparatus is independent of on-site dedicated facilities, provides rapid remote site service for cold weather or emergency situations, and is fully self contained, including energy source for heat generation and power generation for operating the water heating system equipment.

Abstract: A portable power plant for combustion of solid fuels with contiguous generation of steam and power, wherein the plant is constructed with a low-profile, contiguous dual stage combustion chamber and adjacent dual stage boiler chamber for controlled pyrolysis burning of low B.t.u. solid fuels, the plant having controlled gas and air flow for phased burning and cycling of combustion products with capture and utilization of system generated heat for air and fuel preheating, the plant being constructed for vehicle carriage for mobility to the fuel site.

Abstract: A fluidized bed combustion, unitized transportable fire tube boiler package supported by its framework and housed within an insulated housing that ducts incoming air to preheat it while serving as a noise abutment shield. The water and steam retaining pressure vessel has an upright lower portion tapered divergently upwardly and enclosing a like-configurated, fluidized bed combustion housing spaced therefrom to form a water jacket therebetween. The pressure vessel also has a horizontally elongated upper portion enclosing a plurality of sets of combustion-gas tubes interconnected by flow reversing end members and surrounded by water.
