Abstract: An emissions recycling system is used on a vehicle towing an agricultural implement to enrich the fertility of the soil. The system includes an exhaust collector for collecting exhaust emissions from the internal combustion engine of the towing vehicle and an exhaust distribution system for injecting at least a portion of the exhaust emissions collected by the exhaust collector into the ground worked by the ground working tools of the agricultural implement. Fertility of the soil is enriched by bioactivity within the soil's micro flora which consumes the greenhouse gas and emissions.
Abstract: The invention relates to a coolant pump having an impeller which is arranged on a pump impeller shaft and having a drive device for the impeller, which drive device has a mechanical drive and an electric-motor drive. The impeller shaft is divided into a driving section and a driven section, and an openable and closable clutch is arranged between the driving section and the driven section. Operation of the coolant pump by either the mechanical drive or the electric-motor drive can be dependent upon a predetermined speed of threshold of rotation of the impeller, and/or upon a predetermined power usage threshold.

Abstract: The invention concerns an engine cooling system that comprises a cooling circuit (8) and an evaporative cooling arrangement (9). The cooling circuit (8) has a cooling capacity provided by exchanging the heat generated by the engine with ambient air. The evaporative cooling arrangement (9) has a cooling capacity provided by dissipating the heat generated by the engine, by vaporisation of a vaporising coolant in a boiler. The cooling capacity of the evaporative cooling arrangement (9) is such that with the cooling capacity of the cooling circuit (8), the global capacity of the cooling system can match, at least peak, cooling demands. As the cooling capacity of the cooling system is divided between the capacity of the cooling circuit and the capacity of the evaporative cooling arrangement, the capacity of the cooling circuit can be reduced in comparison to a conventional cooling circuit which has to match alone peak cooling demands.
Abstract: A multi-cylinder engine comprises a cylinder block (1) provided with a side water passage (3) oriented in a front and rear direction and passing by each of cylinder walls 12 so as to introduce cooling water from a radiator into a cylinder jacket 4 laterally through the side water passage (3). The side water passage (3) has front and rear end portions provided with front and rear openings (3a), (3b) which communicate the side water passage (3) with a water pump (10). Thus even if the water pump (10) is arranged at either of the front and rear end portions, the opening of the side water passage 3 near the end portion where the water pump (10) is arranged can communicate the side water passage (3) with the water pump (10). And a method for alternatively producing multi-cylinder engines, uses the cylinder block (1) as a common part.
