  • Patent number: 10554086
Abstract: A liquid cooling method for a hydroelectric generator which cools the winding of the rotor via a primary cooling liquid circuit, the cooling liquid being maintained in the circuit by the produced centrifugal force. The dissipation of the thermal energy takes place via a secondary cooling liquid which flows once vertically through the system. Accordingly, the thermal exchange takes place via a co-rotating heat exchanger in the center of the rotor. A device for carrying out such a method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10215081
Abstract: The present invention relates to a venting tank, suitable for being fitted in a cooling system of a motor vehicle and defining an inner space intended for receiving a coolant, the venting tank including at least one inlet and at least one outlet for the coolant which are arranged below a minimum liquid level when the vehicle is in service, wherein the venting tank also includes, opposite the inlet or at least some of the inlets, a member for guiding the coolant, penetrating into the inner space via the inlet, following a flow directed toward a lower wall of the venting tank opposite the flow arriving through the inlet, and forming a 180-degree arc. The invention also relates to a motor-vehicle cooling system provided with such a venting tank.

  • Patent number: 9579950
Abstract: A control method of an air conditioner system for an electric vehicle may include circulating the refrigerant by sensing actuation of the air conditioner system while driving the electric vehicle in a state where a start of the electric vehicle is turned on, circulating and cooling the cooling water through actuation of a water pump and a cooling fan in a cooling module that includes an engine radiator, the intercooler radiator, the water-cooled condenser, and the air-cooled condenser, and controlling actuation speeds of the water pump and the cooling fan based on whether the electric vehicle stops after suddenly accelerating in a state where the air conditioner system is actuated or stops in a state where the air conditioner system is turned off after travelling, and/or based on whether an air conditioner pressure and a cooling water temperature are within predetermined set values.

  • Publication number: 20090301411
Abstract: A composite heat exchanger system includes an air cooled condenser 5, a sub-radiator 3 and a main radiator 2, and it is formed in a state where a tank 3a of the sub-radiator 3 is communicated with a tank 2a of the main radiator 2. A water cooled condenser 4 is contained in a tank 3b of the sub-radiator 3. A part of flowing medium that is cooled down by the main radiator 2 is introduced in the sub-radiator 3 to cool flowing medium of the water cooled condenser 4. The flowing medium that is cooled down by the water cooled condenser 4 is introduced in the air cooled condenser 5 to be cooled.

  • Patent number: 6321552
Abstract: A system for providing cooling incorporates a combustion engine (1, 2) equipped with an exhaust heat recovering heat exchanger (3) which is adapted to transfer heat energy to a heat-driven chiller (4) in which cooling can be extracted from one or more heat carrier circuits (8). The cooling thereby provided may be used for cooling of engine charge air or compressor air and/or for providing cooled air for human comfort and/or for goods. Use of heat energy derived from the engine exhaust gas flow can be added to the system. Exhaust or air intake heat exchangers may provide silencing or gas cleaning of air or gas. The system may, e.g., be applied to vehicles. Compact absorption chillers may be used in the system. A method for providing cooling is disclosed.
