Abstract: A vehicle drain hole structure includes an enclosure (e.g., an air intake tube, an intake enclosure, a resonator, a cleaner, etc.) defined by at least one wall. The at least one wall has an inner surface and an outer surface. A drain hole is defined in the at least one wall for providing drainage from the enclosure. The drain hole extends from a first end defined in the inner surface to a second end defined in the outer surface. The first end of the drain hole at the inner surface has a larger cross-sectional area than the second end of the drain hole at the exterior surface to reduce the likelihood of a liquid film forming across the drain hole.
Abstract: An improved, compact multiple barrel charge forming device for operating with gaseous fuels and which employs a single fuel chamber for supplying fuel to both barrels. A number of various manifolding arrangements are disclosed to facilitate application with multiple cylinder engines and, particularly, those having V arranged cylinder banks.
Abstract: A gaseous fueled engine and method for controlling the gaseous fuel supply using a feedback control to maintain a stoichiometric mixture under all normal running conditions. The feedback control is discontinued under certain running conditions and control is provided in another method so as to accommodate situations such as starting, conditions when the catalyst associated with the engine is overheated, conditions when the engine is running at wide open throttle to avoid the possibility of catalyst overheating and conditions of rapid deceleration so as to reduce the fuel supply and avoid overly rich exhaust gases when the engine is operating as a pump under extreme deceleration.
Abstract: The invention relates to a membrane carburetor for an engine of a motor-driven chain saw. The membrane carburetor has a fuel-filled control chamber delimited by a control membrane. A throttle flap is mounted in an intake channel and a main nozzle opens into the intake channel upstream of the throttle flap. The main nozzle opening is connected to the control chamber via a fuel channel and a fixed nozzle limiting the inflowing fuel-mass flow. In order to make the mixture composition controllable, an air-supply channel opens into the fuel channel and a control valve is mounted in the air-supply channel. The control valve can be adjusted by a positioning device in dependence upon engine operating data. The positioning device is actuated by a control apparatus.
