    Abstract: Fall away arrow rests for archery bows. The rests have an arm with an arrow-supporting feature and an arm-associated axle which pivots the arm to displace the arrow-supporting feature between a first, arrow-loading position and a second, more elevated, arrow-launching position. The arrow support arm can be adjusted vertically, laterally, and in fore-and-aft directions relative to a riser or other rigid bow component on which the rest is mounted. Radial arms rotatable with the axle and connectable to a buss cable or cable slide by a flexible link rotate the arm to elevate the arrow-supporting feature to its arrow-launching when the bow is drawn and offer further adjustment of the arrow rest operation. A coil spring installed in an axle housing returns the arrow-supporting feature to its first, loading position concomitantly with arrow launch, moving the support out of the path the arrow travels as it leaves the bow.

The sabot (300) has a rectangular cross section and inserts into a corresponding rectangular opening in the muzzle end (152) of the arrow rest assembly (150). When shot from the novel handheld compound archery bow (100), the top and bottom halves (301 & 302) of the sabot (300) separate allowing the twelve darts (200) to continue unimpeded in flight toward a target. The twelve darts (200) disperse in an expanding pattern as they travel toward the target.

    Abstract: An arrow rest for bowfishing which is comprised of a frame (3) which is a piece of ⅛ inch stainless steel rod with a 90 degree bend in the center and two 45 degree bends to form a symmetrical triangle with 1{fraction (1/16)} inch distances between bends. The joined ends at the center of the hypotenuse of the triangle form a frame joint (4) which is placed on the end of a stud (6), which is stainless steel {fraction (5/16)} inch fine threads ½ inch long, in such a manner that a frame (3) is parallel and the hypotenuse is perpendicular with the elongation of a stud (6). A frame (3) has a weld (5) securing it in said position. A setscrew (8) is installed into a modern archery bow (2) from the opposite side of a bowfishing arrow rest (1) so as to lock in place. With another embodiment of this invention, a frame (3) is placed and welded on the end of a stud (6a), which is stainless steel {fraction (5/16)} inch fine thread 1½ inch long, in the same manner as above.
