Abstract: A combination of a baking oven and a stove includes a stove (1) for burning wood, an ash chest (3) under the stove, and a baking oven (2) above the stove. A conduit (8) extends from a furnace (7) of the stove into a secondary combustion chamber (9) above the baking oven and below a fire cover (13), and cheek conduits are provided. The conduits (8 and 11) of the baking oven (2) and the stove (1) for conveying combustion and flue gases are substantially separate from each other below the secondary combustion chamber (9) in such a way that the conduit (11) extending from the furnace (10) of the baking oven for passing the combustion and flue gases formed in the baking oven into the secondary combustion chamber is separate from the conduit (8) extending from the stove for passing the combustion and flue gases formed in the stove into the secondary combustion chamber.
Abstract: A multi-purpose fireplace for outdoor use having a firebox, a baking chamber and at least one grill above the baking chamber. The baking chamber is delimited by a metal wall with a door which is accessible from the outside of the fireplace. The baking chamber is fixed in an outer housing which receives the firebox. The baking chamber is preferably also delimited by a cylindrical metal barrel which is mounted with respect to the sidewalls such that an open flue conduit is formed between the metal barrel and the outer housing.
Abstract: A solid flue cooker is provided and consists of a charcoal burning stove having a firebox and a cooking top, a plurality of legs for supporting the stove, a flue attached to a rear outlet of the firebox and proximate the cooking top of the stove, an oven having a baking compartment mounted to the flue above the cooking top of the stove and a mechanism in the flue for directing and controlling the amount of filtered heated air from the firebox of the stove through the baking compartment in the oven and back into the flue.
Abstract: A multi-purpose stove/heater constructed of elements that are readily assembled by hand at a chosen use site, and then easily disassembled and stowed in a compact manner to facilitate portability. The elements can be put together into several different combinations to provide units for a variety of cooking, smoking, heating and drying functions, and each unit utilizes fuel in a highly efficient manner and fulfills current safety requirements as well as those for the protection of the environment wherein the unit is used.
Abstract: An improved cooking oven having two flat surfaces covered by an enclosure. One of the flat surfaces serves as a base on which the enclosure rests and on which both fuel to be burned and food to be cooked are placed. The second of the flat surfaces, which is substantially parallel to and positioned above the flat surface that acts as the base, serves as a baffle to control the flow of combustion products from the burning fuel through the enclosure and as an additional cooking surface. Three openings in the wall of the enclosure are provided; two of which are used for passage of food and fuel therethrough. The third opening serves as a flue and provides a path through which combustion products from the burning fuel escape from the oven.
