Abstract: utility pan handle is provided, has a base body, a lower jaw, an upper jaw, a handle, a pivot pin, and a bottle. The lower jaw is pressed on an outer brim edge portion of an external container from outside. The upper jaw clips on an inner brim edge portion of the external container from inside. The handle extends vertically from the upper jaw and has an overall L-shape. The pivot pin is installed rotatably through holes disposed though the middle portion of the base body and a connecting portion of the handle and the upper jaw. The bottle engages the second end portion of the base body vertically to the base body and substantially in parallel to the handle. The upper and lower jaws open and close about the pivot pin by closing and opening the handle against the bottle, gripping the brim edge of the external container.

Abstract: A hanging condiment cup with at least one integral clip and a removable lid that attaches to a food container. The condiment cup has a convex end and a concave end, with the convex end having a radius that matches the food container it attaches to. The condiment cup also has a backslant that matches the slant of the food container to bring the center of gravity of the condiment cup closer to the center of the food container for increased stability. The condiment cup and lid are designed to be stacked and are made from biodegradable or other plastic material that is refrigerator, heat and/or microwave safe.

Abstract: A turkey cooking apparatus provides a pot and a specially configured insert (e.g., basket) that rests upon the pot bottom. A lower funnel shaped section and upper tube shaped section are provided inside the pot. The insert (e.g., basket) sits upon funnel shaped portion. The insert has a central opening that is receptive of the tubed portion. Both the insert and the tube section can have openings that enable steam to travel upwardly to cook the turkey carcass.

Abstract: A mechanism is provided for dispensing oil into a cooking skillet having a sauce basin and a handle. The mechanism includes a bladder for containing the oil, and a trigger, both disposed within the handle. The bladder includes a tube that extends into the sauce basin to dispense oil therein. The trigger squeezes the bladder to inject the oil into the tube in response to grasping the handle by a hand. The bladder further includes a fill spout to add the oil into the bladder. Additionally, a self-oiling skillet for cooking is provided, including a sauce basin for cooking food on a stove, a handle attached to the sauce basin for enabling a hand to grasp, and the mechanism for dispensing oil into the sauce basin.

Abstract: A stovetop kettle in which water is poured into an upper reservoir to pass to a lower base that includes a heat transfer structure that defines a meandering path for the water in close proximity to a heat source. Water exits the heat transfer structure at an elevated temperature and is directed through a discharge path that terminates at a discharge control valve.

Abstract: A cover for a cooking implement, such as a grill, and a method of using such a cover in order to assist in the cooking of food with steam. The cover comprises a raised portion and a reservoir adjacent the raised portion. The reservoir has first and second walls and a bottom therebetween so as to be capable of containing a liquid. The reservoir further has at least one drain hole located below an upper fill level of the reservoir, and the raised portion has at least one vent hole located above the upper fill level. The drain and vent holes are relatively sized so that a liquid contained within the reservoir flows through and exits the drain hole in the form of droplets, which vaporize substantially immediately once outside the drain hole.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for replenishing the water supply in a water pan of a water smoker grill. An external water supply is permanently or removably attached to the side of a water smoker grill. A water supply tube extends from the external water supply into the water pan of the water smoker grill. As water is boiled off from the water pan and the level in the water pan descends below a minimum level below the level of the outlet tube, water is allowed to replenish the water supply in the water pan, thereby increasing the cooking time without having to remove the lid of the water smoker grill to replace the water.
