  • Patent number: 7504026
Abstract: The ultrasonic solution separation apparatus oscillates an undiluted solution containing a target material at an ultrasonic frequency to produce mist, and collects the mist to collect a target material containing liquid that contains the target material with higher concentration than the undiluted solution. The ultrasonic solution separation apparatus includes an atomization chamber that oscillates the undiluted solution at an ultrasonic frequency by using a plurality of ultrasonic oscillators to produce the mist; and a collection portion that aggregates and thus collects the mist produced in the atomization chamber. The atomization chamber is divided into a plurality of divided chamber sections so that the ultrasonic oscillators are disposed in the respective divided chamber sections. The ultrasonic oscillators oscillate the undiluted solution supplied into the divided chamber sections to produce the mist.

  • Patent number: 6390807
Abstract: The present invention relates to a structure in which an unburnt gas can be prevented from being diffused into a room while suppressing the generation of the unburnt gas during the extinction operation of a pot type oil burner. During the extinction operation, first of all, the supply of a fuel from fuel feeding means (35) to a pot (15) is stopped and conduction to an electric heater (31) is started. The rotation of each of a combustion fan (23) and a convection fan (11) is carried out continuously. While a second timer (67) counts a second time period, the convection fan (11) is rotated at a high speed. After the second time period is ended, the rotation of the convection fan (11) is switched from high speed rotation into low speed rotation. The low speed rotation is carried out continuously for a third time period counted by a third timer. After the third time period is ended, the rotation of the convection fan (11) is returned from the low speed rotation to the high speed rotation.

  • Patent number: 5947717
Abstract: A vaporizing combustion chamber for a heater running on liquid fuel, in particular a vehicle heater, in which inter alia two pipes disposed concentrically one inside the other form therebetween an annular chamber which is closed at a first end. At the second end, the annular chamber is open and leads into a flame diaphragm which projects radially inwards from the outer pipe and is located at a spacing in front of the inner pipe. At both its ends the inner pipe is substantially open and the opening at the second end is contracted by a concentric baffle edge of a baffle plate. In order to improve the emission values of the combustion chamber exhaust gas and reduce combustion noises both when the combustion chamber is disposed horizontally and when it is disposed vertically, the opening in the flame diaphragm is eccentric to the opening, in the inner pipe, formed by the baffle edge of the baffle plate.

  • Patent number: 4678431
Abstract: For a heater operated by means of liquid fuel, a vaporization burner is provided that has a large-volume active first vaporization part for the very volatile components of the fuel and a large-surface second vaporization part for the least volatile fuel components. The two vaporization parts are separated from one another by a fuel-impermeable material, such as ceramics, so that any occurring coke formations at the second passive vaporization part cannot migrate to the first vaporization part. As a result, the operating reliability and the service life of such a vaporization burner are improved.

  • Patent number: 4611985
Abstract: A vaporization burner of the type that has a carrier connected with a fuel line on which an absorbent body is located is provided with a heat conducting body for quicker fuel vaporization and for increasing the temperature on the surface of the carrier that faces the combustion chamber. The heat conducting body is formed of a heat resistant and highly heat conductive material and projects into the flame zone of the combustion chamber. The heat conducting body may be attached releasably to the carrier or it may be fastened to it by means of press welding. The heat conducting body may be developed as a hollow body, preferably as a piece of pipe, whereby the end projecting into the flame zone may be open or closed. For closing of the end of the heat conducting body that projects into the flame zone, when the conductive body is formed from a piece of pipe, the free end may be compressed. Furthermore, the heat conducting body may be arranged centrally or eccentrically on the carrier.
