Abstract: A cartridge for an aerosol-generating system is provided, including a first sealed container including a nicotine source comprising a first carrier material impregnated with between about 1 milligram and about 50 milligrams of nicotine; a second sealed container including an acid source; and a coupling element disposed between the first sealed container and the second sealed container, wherein the first sealed container, the second sealed container, and the coupling element are separate components that are connected together to form the cartridge, and wherein the coupling element is directly connected to both the first sealed container and the second sealed container so as to form a substantially rigid connection between the first sealed container and the second sealed container.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a pipe for cooled smoke and containment are disclosed. In some embodiments, the pipe includes a body and a cover movable engaged to the body. The body includes a first end, a second end, and an axis extending between the first and second end. The body further includes a receptacle positioned closer to the first end than the second end. The cover includes an aperture. The aperture can be selectively aligned with the receptacle of the body. Optionally, the body includes one or more channels that direct smoke to travel along the axis of the body in opposite directions. Further optionally, the body includes one or more reservoirs that direct smoke to travel in a direction perpendicular to the axis.

Abstract: A smoking device that provides a convenient way to store, carry, load, and smoke tobacco and/or herbal products. Components are enclosed in a unit that provides a quick delivery of product from a storage chamber to an ignition chamber, where the product can be ignited with a flame source or heating element. The device has a body that defines an opening that provides access to one or more storage chambers, an ignition chamber, and a mover passageway. A mover, such as an auger, is located in the mover passageway for moving product from a storage chamber to the ignition chamber. The mover may be activated from outside the body. The body includes air passageway that connects the ignition chamber to an outside of the body for venting smoke. A cover is received in the opening for selectively covering the storage chamber and ignition chamber.

Abstract: A personal vaporizer has an atomizer module having a heating element and an atomizer cup for receiving vaporizing medium. A flow module is releasably attached to the atomizer module. The flow module intakes ambient air and directs the air into a vaporizing chamber at and adjacent the atomizer cup, where the air mixes with atomized medium to form a vapor. The vapor exits the vaporizing chamber via one or more exit passages defined through the flow module. Vapor is directed from the exit passages into a mouthpiece and further into the user's mouth.

Abstract: A device for use with a container containing liquid and having an opening for the consecutive consumption of the liquid and of smoke that has been drawn into the container. The device comprises a body, a combustion receptacle, and a tubular structure. An inlet end of the body engages the container, and an outlet end can be placed at the mouth of a user. The tubular structure connects the combustion receptacle with the interior of the liquid container. When smoking material is combusted and the container is inverted, outflow of liquid from the container through the body, in most instances into a user's mouth, creates negative pressure within the container, drawing in smoke from the combustion receptacle. Once most or all of the liquid has flowed out of the container, the user may then inhale the smoke in the container through the body.

Abstract: The invention provides a portable hookah for smoking a smokable substance such as tobacco or medical marijuana. The device has a water jar with a handle and a perforated semispherical cover that supports a tubular cartridge. The lower end of the cartridge is inserted into the water jar so that it is immersed into the water that fills the water jar, and the upper end of the cartridge is located in the cover and contains a compartment for the heating and smoking substances. The water jar has on its outer surface a helical groove for winding and supporting a hose, the distal end of which has a mouthpiece for the smoker and is fixed to the water jar for storage and transportation. The water jar may be reusable or disposable.

Also, a bowl including a sidewall extending from a step that terminates at the primary side, the bowl includes multiple voids that are disposed inward from the step toward the base. The voids inwardly terminate at a central ridge located inward from the step toward the base wherein the ridge is extended toward the primary side between the step and the voids. Also, passageways are within the body extending from the voids. A screen that is supported on an outer periphery by the step and centrally on the ridge, the screen is concave from the primary side. Operationally, tobacco is ignited in the screen concave area, a diffusion of smoke is created in the voids for an outward omnidirectional burn of the tobacco.

Abstract: A tobacco pipe combustion maintenance accessory for maintaining continuous burning of tobacco in the bowl of a pipe once the tobacco is initially ignited. The device includes a generally flat body having a curvilinear concave reflective surface on one side of the body. When the body is held above the pipe bowl, the curvilinear surface, properly positioned, reflects heat and light waves emitting from the portion of burning tobacco back at the tobacco in focused or concentrated form to ignite the unlit portions of the tobacco at the point where the reflective rays focus. By manipulation of the device in very close proximity above the rim of the pipe bowl so that the rays are reflected downardly into the tobacco, the collected rays at their point of focus maintain the tobacco burning. The curvilinear surface is preferably a spherical segment and may also be structured similar to a fresnal lens having reflective concentric surfaces to achieve relative flatness and a shorter focal length.

Abstract: A smoking pipe having a rectangular, metal bowl with a cylindrical bore within which is received an insert having at opposite ends concavities of differing volumes such that either a small or a large bowl cavity is provided for receipt of smoking material. The opposite end or bottom of the bore includes a threaded member forming a removable bottom to the bore for cleaning purposes. The outer end of the stem includes a soft material annulus with beveled outer end portions. Immediately above the stem, a shallow opening is formed in the side wall of the bowl for releasably holding the end of a hollow container for smoking materials. A cover is pivotally located over the open bowl top.

Abstract: Jewelry smoking devices are described which are in the form of ornamental pipe members suitable for being worn as items of jewelry. Each smoking device has a tobacco receiving portion for receiving smoking tobacco for the purpose of burning the same, and conduit means for carrying smoke from the tobacco receiving portion to a mouthpiece. The devices are in the general forms of pipe rings, pipe bracelets, and the like, and are decorative as well as being functional pipes which can be smoked as normal pipes are or while worn as items of jewelry.

Abstract: A smoking pipe having improved smoking characteristics. The smoking pipe includes a bowl having top and bottom openings and a breather hole near the top opening and in communication with a pipe stem. A cover assembly is attached to the bowl adjacent to the top opening and covers the top opening when the pipe is to be smoked. A retainer having a screen cooperates with the bottom opening for retaining smoking tobacco within the bowl while permitting access to the tobacco for the ignition thereof. The retainer may also be removed from its position relative to the bottom opening for the removal of ashes.Tobacco is inserted into the bowl via either opening, but preferably via the top opening and to a level just below the breather hole. With the cover assembly covering the top opening, the tobacco is ignited via the screen of the retainer, causing combustion of the tobacco in a bottom-to-top fashion.

Abstract: A pipe holder and bowl cover for a smoker's pipe is comprised of a spherical mass of open-celled spongy plastic foam with a bowl receiving bore provided therein and dimensioned to frictionally secure the bowl cover to the bowl of the pipe. A retaining screen is mounted within the bore so as to contact the upper rim of the pipe bowl when the bowl cover is secured to the bowl thereby preventing the escape of a tobacco or like substance that is placed in the bowl.
