Abstract: A tobacco feeding device incudes a glass tube, a push rod, and a piston. The piston is movable along the inner wall of the glass tube. The push rod includes an air passage. The glass tube includes a feeding inlet. When the piston moves along the inner wall of the glass tube, a gap between the feeding inlet and the piston is exposed and a tobacco material is added to the tobacco feeding device. When in use, smoke produced by the tobacco material circulates in the air passage.

Abstract: A capsule for a heat-not-burn (HNB) aerosol-generating device may include a base of a thermally-conductive material, the base defining a first cavity therein, the base including a first surface, the first surface defining an opening to a second cavity, the first surface including a first plurality of apertures through the first surface. Abstract: A smoking device which permits combustion and inhalation of smoking material without also inhaling gases from a source of combustion such as lighter. The smoking device has a main body with a lower end adapted to connect to an overall smoking system. A lower portion of the main body defines internal flow channels, while an upper portion defines a smoking chamber therein. A burn plate or disc is clamped against an inner ledge in the lower end of the smoking chamber which is enclosed by a lid having an air inlet. The smoking chamber may house a manifold member which clamps the burn plate against an inner ledge. A user places smoking material on the burn plate and closes the smoking chamber with the lid. While applying a lighter flame directed into the lateral throughbore to the underside of the burn plate, the user applies suction to the lower inhalation passageway which pulls air in through the air inlet in the lid.

Abstract: A brass smoking pipe is modified with numerous improvements. It is nickel-brass plated to prevent tarnishing. The draft holes are enlarged from the standard 1/16? to 3/32? diameter and drilled at an angle. The tar trap is drilled into a new deep-dish configuration. These modifications improve the pipe's draw. A titanium or quartz crystal retaining rod is provided, both to store multiple quartz crystal bowls in the storage canister and to serve as a domeless nail, converting an herb pipe to a concentrate pipe. A push nut holds quartz crystal bowls on the retaining rod. An oversized poker, available in brass, titanium, or glass, holds the tar trap in place and removes the tar trap for cleaning. The poker may be fitted with an easy-pull grip nut or a removal tool to remove the retaining rod and quartz crystal bowls from the storage canister.

Abstract: An igniter for an incendiary briquette of a type suitable for smoking a smoking substance disposed in a bowl of a hookah is disclosed. The igniter includes a housing defining an interior and having a sidewall, a bottom wall, and a top opening providing access to the interior. An ignition source that produces a flame is disposed in the interior of the housing. The igniter includes a removable tray for supporting the incendiary briquette. The tray has at least one heat transfer hole therein and is sized to be removably supported by the housing at a location above the flame of the ignition source, wherein heat flows upwardly to cause a burning of the incendiary briquette. The tray is sized to seat above the bowl of the hookah so that the burning briquette is supported to cause a burning of the smoking substance.
