Abstract: There is disclosed a portable compact pipe comprising at least one base section having at least one hole. There is also at least one water container section having at least one hole. Furthermore, there is at least one shield. The base section is coupled to the water container section, at least at one orientation. With this design, a hole on the base section and a hole on the water container section are configured to be lined up. Thus, when the stem is inserted into the hole on the base section, and the hole on the water container section, the stem locks the water container section to the base section.

Abstract: A bi-directional multiple-layer extension cigar holder comprises a receiving body mounted on extension tubes which are adapted for adjusting the length of the holder for holding different lengths of cigars. The cigar holder can be combined with a lighter, enhancing the use convenience. In addition, elastic retaining rings in the cigar holder which are used to avoid disengagement are big-area C-shaped plates, such that the assembly convenience can be enhanced, synchronously enhancing the effect of preventing the disengagement of the extension tubes.

Abstract: A bi-directional multiple-layer pull-in cigar holder comprises a receiving body mounted on extension tubes which are adapted for adjusting the length of the holder, such that the cigar holder has an extension structure without affecting its appearance, improving the appearance integrity. In addition, with the arrangement of the big-area elastic retaining rings, a right resistance can be offered, improving the assembly convenience while reducing the assembly cost.

Abstract: A two piece in-line smoking device meant for smoking small amounts of tobacco or other substances. A mouthpiece portion is inserted into a chamber portion and crimps a filter medium into place against a filter support permanently attached near the chamber portion top end. An internal conical lip extends around the inner circumference of the chamber portion bottom end. A method for preventing substance from falling out of the chamber portion includes filling the chamber portion cavity with substance and then adding an additional small amount of substance whereby the additional amount is pressed against the bottom end inner lip and against the first portion of added substance thereby forming a plug that prevents substance from falling out of the chamber portion.

The stem is formed by multiple flat panels folded to create a passageway having an opening at one end. The stem has an upper panel with holes in it to form the screen. The bowl is formed by multiple flat panels folded to surround the screen. The flat blank of metal has a number of fold lines, which preferably are etched to about one-half the thickness of the metal blank, joining adjacent panels.

Abstract: A dual function water pipe includes a water-holding container and serves as a loose leaf tobacco pipe and as a cigarette smoking device. A bowl surmounts the container and a downspout of the bowl extends into the container an extent sufficient to submerge the free end of the downspout. A hollow adapter having a radial bore that holds the unlit end of a cigarette surmounts the bowl. A smoker applies suction to a smoke tube that draws smoke from the cigarette and the structure of the device causes the smoke to follow a path of travel that constrains the smoke to pass through the water before entering the smoke tube, removing some toxins from the smoke. The smoke tube is positioned one hundred eighty degrees from the cigarette and has a telescopically-extended configuration that positions a flame source a safe distance from a user's face.

Abstract: The smoking pipe of the present invention generally includes a base and a mouthpiece. The base includes a bowl for placement of loose tobacco and also includes a channel that extends from the bowl out the front of the base. The base further includes a permanent magnet that is embedded within the base and located above the channel. The mouthpiece is a component that is separate and distinct from the base. The mouthpiece includes a channel that extends the full length of the mouthpiece. Further, the mouthpiece incorporates a permanent magnet that is embedded within the mouthpiece and located above the channel. The mouthpiece is generally movable between two positions relative to the base. The first is a smoking position where the mouthpiece is held tight to the base such that the channels of the mouthpiece and base are aligned for smoking. The second is a transportation position in which the mouthpiece is held tight to the base such that the mouthpiece covers the bowl maintaining any loose tobacco within.

Abstract: A telescopically extendable holder is removably attached to the tobacco pipe and supports the tobacco pipe a desired distance from a pipe smoker. The telescopically extendable holder includes a telescoping shaft having saleable members and connection elements adapted to removably attach the distal end of the telescoping shaft to the tobacco pipe in parallel to the stem of the pipe. The telescopically extendable holder is also adapted to support a cigar or a cigarette. A pocket clip is provided for clipping the holder to the apparel of the smoker. When disassembled, the connecting elements may be kept in the handle attached to a proximal end of the telescopic shaft.

The sleeve can be erected from a one-piece foil blank in a continuous or semi-continuous process as part of the assembly of the article.

Abstract: A cigarette is provided having a variable length. A filter or mouthpiece slides within a sleeve attached to the cigarette, or a sleeve attached to the filter or mouthpiece slides over the cigarette. A single band is adhered to one element and a pair of bands is adhered to the other element. The single band is captive between the pair of bands so that the cigarette can be lengthened or shortened within the range allowed by the pair of bands, but the filter or mouthpiece cannot be removed from the cigarette. The variable length mechanism can be made to additionally provide variable dilution or variable flavorant.

Abstract: Jewelry smoking devices are described which are in the form of ornamental pipe members suitable for being worn as items of jewelry. Each smoking device has a tobacco receiving portion for receiving smoking tobacco for the purpose of burning the same, and conduit means for carrying smoke from the tobacco receiving portion to a mouthpiece. The devices are in the general forms of pipe rings, pipe bracelets, and the like, and are decorative as well as being functional pipes which can be smoked as normal pipes are or while worn as items of jewelry.

Abstract: A smoking pipe having a pipe bowl with a smoke tube extending into a volume of filtering liquid in an enclosed reservoir. The shapes and dimensions of the smoke tube and liquid reservoir are selected in relation to the volume of liquid so that when the pipe is substantially upright, the end of the smoke tube extends into the liquid. A tubular pipe stem and associated valve extend from a reservoir port which is above the liquid top surface when the pipe is substantially upright. The physical characteristics of the smoke tube are related to the physical characteristics and volume of the filtering liquid and the shape and volume of the reservoir, so that when the pipe is inverted and the valve closes the passage through the pipe stem, there is substantially zero net force on a volume of liquid within the smoke tube due to the pressure differential across that volume, surface tensions between the liquid and the tube and gravitational force on that volume.

Abstract: An integral cigarette holder and sheath or cover for a cigarette is disclosed in which the sheath or cover is formed of telescoped members. The cigarette is inserted within the holder and the telescoped cover is extended to permit a portion of the cigarette to be smoked. As the cigarette is smoked down to the distal end of the telescoped members, insufficient oxygen is present to permit the continued burning and smoking of the cigarette.

Abstract: A Pipe-cigaret constructed according to the present invention consists of a T-shaped single sheet of flexible material having a shorter section of a substantially rectangular shape and an elongated section of a substantially rectangular shape extending from a center edge thereof, said single sheet formed with panels folded to form a bowl for containing tobacco and a tubular stem for drawing smoke to an opposite free tip thereof, and said bowl provided with a fire proof corrugated inner lining for being insulated and protected from lighted tobacco therein and for providing a cooler smoke.
