Abstract: There is provided an aerosol-generating article including at least one blister capsule including a volatile liquid, the article further including a rupturing system including a first tube and a second tube both arranged in operational engagement defining a volume; the first and second tubes being movable relative to each other along a first motion path from a first position to a second position, such that the defined volume is larger in the first position than in the second position; the first tube including a first rupturing member arranged at least partially inside the first tube, such that in the first position the first rupturing member is contained completely in the defined volume; and, in the second position, the first rupturing member at least partially protrudes from the defined volume and is configured to rupture the capsule and to form an aperture extending through the capsule.

The device consists of an ignition switch located on the side of the pipe in natural proximity to the thumb, a piezo-electric ignition system, a flammable gas delivery system, a bowl for holding smoking material, and an aperature for drawing the smoke emitted from the ignited vegetable product.

Abstract: A vaporizer system that supplies clean, heated air to vaporizable material by directing ambient air from an area surrounding the vaporizer system through a secure air passageway that leads the air through a pump, a heat source, and then onto the vaporizable material. The air passageway prevents the interaction of the air with possibly emissive components. The heated air drives out active ingredients from the vaporizable material, which may be subsequently captured in a removable container or inhaled directly. The vaporizer system includes an air chamber surrounding the receptacle for receiving the material to be vaporized which isolates the material from environmental disturbances. The removable container attaches to a valve, which attaches to the top of the vaporizer system. The valve is configured to be operable between three positions with the use of only one finger and a thumb of one hand.

Abstract: A non-combustion smoking tool, which uses a real filter cigarette as it is, and which vaporizes nicotine from the tobacco leaves without lighting the product to enable inhalation of the vaporized nicotine, has a problem that a smoker cannot take in 100% of the vaporized nicotine. Thus, a mouthpiece is designed to have an air flow control structure or an air flow control element, or to be combined with a cigarette guide tube, so as to enable the mouthpiece to vary the rate at which the nicotine vaporized from the tobacco leaves is taken in.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a reconfigurable smoking pipe and a method of using the same for single handed operation. The reconfigurable smoking pipe comprises a base unit, a lighter holder, a bowl, a smoke chamber, a carburetor, a mouthpiece, and a plug. The base unit comprises multiple ports. The lighter holder is attached to the base unit. Each of the bowl, the smoke chamber, the carburetor, and the plug are detachably attached to any one of the ports of the base unit. A mouthpiece is detachably attached to anterior end of the smoke chamber. A user assembles the reconfigurable smoking pipe and inserts a lighter into the lighter holder. The user holds the reconfigurable smoking pipe in a smoking position using a single hand by gripping the inserted lighter and lights a smoking substance held in the bowl by operating the gripped lighter using the single hand.

Abstract: A smoking pipe having a cleaning valve includes a pipe body with an internal bore. A combustion chamber is communicably connected with the bore. A cleaning valve is mounted adjustably within the bore. The valve includes a longitudinal channel and the valve is alternatable between a first position wherein the channel is communicably interconnects an orifice in the mouthpiece of the pipe and the combustion chamber and a second position wherein the channel is fully exposed so that it may be quickly and completely cleaned.

Turret (30) is of greater weight than that of manifold (20), so that any one of a plurality of turret magazines (33) remains stationary over a chamber (24) in the manifold (20) in their relative rotation, so that smoking tobacco in the aligned magazine (33) with such chamber (24) takes place through the hollow stem (12). A screen (28) seats in a recess 27 of a port (25) of manifold (20) at a sufficient distance from the turret's chamber (24), preventing scorching of screen (28) by a source of flame at/in chamber (24) in the aligned magazine (33).

Abstract: A smoke retention device having a collapsible chamber and an insert threadable into said collapsible chamber for holding a combustible material. A bag is secured over one end of the chamber and held in place by an elastic band. Valve mechanisms allow the user to draw air through the insert said air being directed through the combustible material and exhaling air back to the insert said exhaled air being directed through a second aperture back into the container.

Abstract: A smoking device is disclosed whereby smoke and other gases of combustion can be diluted with air to a pre-selected mixture before being inhaled by a smoker. This is achieved by the use of a carbureting tube which can introduce a metered amount of air into a smoke chamber and thereby dilute the smoke to any desired concentration. The smoke is drawn into the smoke dilution chamber by a piston moving towards the outlet end of the chamber, and then pumped out of the smoke dilution chamber by reversing the motion of the piston. A water chamber may also be included to permit the smoke and other gases to be cooled prior to entering the smoke dilution chamber.

The caps in at least one of the chambers, e.g. the burning chamber, may include a tine for cleaning the apertures between the burning chamber and the resin collecting chamber.

One of the chambers is a burning chamber wherein the tobacco to be smoked is burned, beneath the burning chamber is a screen, a control valve that varies the diameter of the passage between the burning chamber and a cooling chamber underneath this valve. A second screen separates the cooling chamber from a third chamber, called the filtering chamber. The filtering medium is the same substance being smoked and it is packed and held inside the filtering chamber with a third screen that is placed at the end of the filtering chamber. The third screen in turn is held in place when the bowl is connected to the stem. Finally, a mouthpiece is connected to the stem. The ends of the bowl piece may be interchanged, thereby providing two choices for the size of the burning chamber to be used depending on the amount of substance to be smoked.
