A movement of the movable member to the second state prevents the coupling end portion of the handle from securing to the tray.

Abstract: An ashtray having a conical shaped wall. The ashtray is used in sandy environments. The wall consists of wall supports and a series of elongated blades along the length of the lower wall. The ashtray has an attached lid that snaps into the wall supports with an opening to receive extinguished cigarettes. When the ashtray is inserted into the substrate, the external pressure exerted against the wall causes the blades to open. The ashtray is then twisted into the substrate causing the receptacle to fill with sand thereby covering the lid. Cigarettes are extinguished in the substrate. Once the upper surface is filled with waste, the ashtray is lifted and the substrate easily exits the wall cutouts and bottom opening. The butts are easily pushed through the lid. The ashtray can then be reinserted into the substrate covering the waste and providing for a fresh surface to receive additional cigarettes.

The litter disposal device includes a cap, a storage system, a pivot system adapted to permit the cap to move between the closed and open positions, and an extinguishing system containable within the storage system and adapted to extinguish the lit end of a cigarette. In the open position, ashes, butts, and unused portions of cigarettes, cigars, and/or other similar products can be transported from the outside to the inside of the litter disposal device and vice versa. In the closed position, however, cigarette ash and butts cannot enter or exit the storage system of the litter disposal device. The storage system has a rounded bottom or outer surface to prevent the litter disposal device from maintaining an upright position.

The safety cigarette holding device can prevent the burning cigarette from falling onto a tabletop to prevent damaging properties or causing a fire.

Once the spent smoking item is extinguished within the tube it is then released into the container.

Securement devices are provided to safeguard the cigarette disposal assembly whereby the top member may be secured to the base member and the entire disposal assembly to a fixed object.

Abstract: A cigarette pack holder with an adjacent built-in ashtray section. The ashtray chamber is latterly adjacent the compartment for the cigarettes and extends downwardly and under the cigarette compartment. The ashtray section has a hinged cap that when in the closed position acts as a boss to engage a notch on the cover to secure the cover in place. The bottom of the device has a slider opening for removal of ashes. Spaced up from the bottom is a shelf to retain the cigarette or cigar pack. The ashtray is separated from the cigarette pack storage compartment by a heat resistant vertical wall. Other walls of the device should also be made of heat resistant material.

The disposable receptacle, such as a suitably structured bag, is positioned within the container, and an air eliminator eliminates air from a space that is between the bag and the container, so that the bag is pulled against an interior of the container, thereby reducing the flammability and puncture resistance of the bag. The bag has a closure mechanism that prevents air from entering the bag, and that prevents smoke from escaping from the bag, after a burning object is placed within the bag.

Abstract: A pocket ashtray consists of at least one hollow body (2, 10) having a cap (1, 9) rotatably fastened on its end surface (s). An orifice (2b, 10b) and a depression (2a, 10b) are present in the end surface (S) of the hollow body (2, 10); either an orifice (1a) is provided in the cap (1) or the cap (9) is specially shaped. By suitable, successive rotation of the cap (1, 9), it is possible to stub out a smoking article (5) in the depression (2a, 10a) and then to load it into the interior of the pocket ashtray and store it away from dirt.

Abstract: A portable extinguishing ash container with pivoting lid is provided. The ash container features a flame-resistant fabric pouch which accommodates a metal container. The pouch is filled with a noncombustible granular material such as sand or pebbles for enveloping an outer surface of the ash container. A hinged circular, transparent lid allows the smoker to close the apparatus securely during transportation and to keep discarded butts and ashes inside. A small release button on the front causes the lid to open automatically when the button is pressed. Being transparent, the lid allows for various pictures, photographs, logos, or word phrases to be placed thereunder to provide for a visually appealing appearance. A pivoting cigarette platform is provided to permit resting support of a cigarette. A leather strap is included to facilitate transportability.

A lit cigarette may be inserted into the channel of the cigarette, extinguished and stored for subsequent smoking.
