Abstract: A lighter having a main fuel containment housing body and a forward hinged lid with a closed position and an open position, the open position providing access to the flame generator assembly. The flame generator assembly providing a wind shield with a flame outlet that, when the lighter is in an operation orientation, is directed upwardly and in a direction generally perpendicular to the major dimension of the lighter in the closed position. The windshield having dimples with apertures extending outwardly for reducing wind while providing oxygen. The lighter may have a forward sleeve with a closeable lid, the sleeve extending around the four sides of the housing and slidable on the fuel containment housing. An actuation portion effects a transition from the closed position to an operational position, opening the lid and sliding the sleeve downwardly exposing the flame generation system out of an opening in the sleeve.

Abstract: A holder for a tobacco container is provided. The device includes a body having a base, a sidewall extending upwardly therefrom, and a top side defining an interior volume. The base includes a recession that frictionally secures a container of chewing tobacco therein. In one embodiment, the sidewall diameter tapers inwardly from an upper end to a lower end thereof, such that a funnel is formed. A clip is attached to the holder that can secure the holder to a keychain or other similar object. An opening tool will be embedded in the top side of the tobacco container holder's body. In one embodiment of the tobacco container holder, the opening tool will further comprise a sharpened edge that can puncture the wrapper on a tobacco container. The sidewall catches chewing tobacco that may be accidentally dropped when retrieving chewing tobacco from its container, thereby reducing waste.

Abstract: A multi-functional, all inclusive smoking tool may include a housing; a cigarette lighter attached to the housing; a poker attached to the housing so that the poker can swivel outward from the housing and swivel inward towards the housing, while attached to the housing; and wherein the elongated poker is configured to be swiveled outwards from the housing and thereafter used to clean debris from pipes, while attached to the housing. The apparatus may further include a clip attached to the housing so that the clip is configured to be moved, while attached to the housing, from a first position to a second position, with respect to the housing; wherein in the first position, the clip is at least partially within the housing, while attached to the housing; and wherein in the second position, the clip is entirely outside of the housing, while attached to the housing.

Abstract: A container for storage of smoking material, such as, for example, tobacco or the like, and related smoking accessories and a system and a method for using the same. Including a main body portion which has a first cavity for storing smoking material that extends downwardly from the upper face toward the bottom and has a cover at the top. The housing may have additional cavities in the body of the container for convenient storage of a pipe(s) and a cleaning tool. A second cover for these cavities operates independently of the material storage cavity cover. The assembly also includes an access hole in the body of the container with an additional cover that can be shifted to reveal access for a pipe to be inserted and guided directly into the the storage cavity in order to fill and pack the pipe with a portion of the smoking material.

Abstract: An apparatus having a two-in-one pipe cleaner and tobacco paper refiller. The two portions of the two-in-one pipe cleaner and tobacco paper refiller fit together for storage and safe keeping. The pipe cleaner portion has a rectangular-shaped base with a protruding cylindrical shaft ending in a rounded tip. The paper refiller portion also has a rectangular-shaped base that has a protruding cylindrical shaft with a flat distal end.

Abstract: A self-defense pocket knife with handle of suitable proportion to be grasped in closed fist and a conveyance system configured for the emergency manual conveyance of a blade from a position for storage to a position for use without requiring the user to appreciably alter or compromise grip upon the handle during the course of such conveyance.

Abstract: A standard smoking lighter slides into a hole on top of a plastic sheath so that only the top of the lighter is exposed. The bottom of the sheath has a hammer like protrusion at one end to stuff tobacco or other herb into a pipe. The opposite end of the bottom has a pivot point for a poker which serves to mix the herb and ash within the pipe and/or clean the debris from the pipe. The poker folds up into the sheath when not in use. Thus, a three function pipe tool provides a lighter, a stuffer and a poker.

Abstract: The present invention relates to containers having caps with smoking tools attached thereon, including an ashtray with a poker protruding inwards from its associated cap, and a jar for smoking materials having a combination scoop and packer protruding inwards from its associated cap. More than one container may be temporarily attached to another container via a single or multiple caps having means of attachment to another cap, and the caps may contain means for grinding material. The present invention makes loading and packing into, and removing ash from, a smoking device faster, easier, neater, and more convenient.

Abstract: An electro-surgical pencil with a vacuum for removing surgical plume. On the proximal end of the elongated housing are electrical wires and a vacuum tube. These are connected into a control and a source of vacuum. The distal end has a blade for cutting and coagulation. A vacuum nozzle is positioned about the blade and is translatable in the housing. A push bar control or slider on the housing moves the vacuum nozzle from an on-position where it is connected to the external source of vacuum and leaves the blade substantially exposed. In an off-position, the vacuum tube has a disconnectable joint that has a fitting that is removed from the vacuum tube. The external nozzle in this off-position substantially covers the blade. The push bar control may act as a control of the electrical and vacuum sources. The pencil is sterilized and disposable.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention relate to an inhaler device for pulmonary delivery of at least one substance from a drug dose cartridge to an inhaling user, comprising: a first conduit for conducting a carrier airflow to a proximal opening of a mouthpiece for use by the user; a holder configured to position the dose cartridge within the carrier airflow; and a second conduit for conducting a shunting airflow to the mouthpiece without passing through the dose cartridge position. In some embodiments, a controller connected to a valve controls a rate of carrier airflow, for example by controlling the shunting airflow, based on a sensor indication of airflow rate and a target airflow profile.

Abstract: A generally continuous cylindrical body where a first set of tools and a second set of tools are arranged at the proximate and distal ends of the body to rotate in a specific alternating 180 degree sequence in either an “L” mode or “screwdriver” mode for use. The tools are configured to be positioned at one or more hinge points by screws and shoulder screws. At a proximal end of the tool body, and at the tangent of the circumference of the body at the distal end of each tool; each tool is configured to rotate away from the body to a plurality of angles. The general cylindrical body also provides angled channels or walls with varying angular depths or tool slots where the tools are arranged and retained within the general cylindrical body.

Abstract: A standard smoking lighter slides into a hole on top of a plastic sheath so that only the top of the lighter is exposed. The bottom of the sheath has a hammer like protrusion at one end to stuff tobacco or other herb into a pipe. The opposite end of the bottom has a pivot point for a poker which serves to mix the herb and ash within the pipe and/or clean the debris from the pipe. The poker folds up into the sheath when not in use. Thus, a three function pipe tool provides a lighter, a stuffer and a poker.

Abstract: The various embodiments herein provide an air suction device for a smoking apparatus. The air suction device comprises a cylindrical housing, an impeller, an impeller cover, a motor assembled inside the housing to drive the impeller, a plurality of batteries provided in the housing, a battery cover to enclose the plurality of batteries and a switch provided externally to the cylindrical housing. When the switch is in ON condition, the plurality of batteries supply an electrical power to the motor and the motor converts the electrical power into a mechanical power which in turn causes propulsion of the impeller thereby sucking out the air from a water bowl of the smoking apparatus. The propulsive motion of the impeller sucks out the air from the water bowl until the air inside the water bowl is replaced by condensed smoke.

Abstract: A hookah accessory comprising a motor driven vacuum secured in a housing, vacuum port, filter between the vacuum port and vacuum used to apply a suction force used to ignite and start a hookah, blower port in pneumatic communication with the output/return port of the vacuum to provide a blow force used to clean hoses, switches in the vacuum and air pressure ports to automatically turn on the accessory when inserting a hose, rheostat for adjusting the vacuum suction force, insulated oven having a burner assembly for heating charcoal or other agents used in the hookah and charcoal filter for filtering emissions from the charcoal or heated agent. The invention may have fixed resistors in series with the switches for setting the vacuum at two constant speeds for a set suction force and set air pressure force. The invention may include a basket for placement in the oven.

Abstract: An attachable lighter tool has a clip slideably engaging the body of the lighter. The clip slides along the major axis of the lighter. An implement such as a poker or tamper extends from the clip along the major axis of the lighter. When not in use, the tool conforms substantially against the body of the lighter and is out of the way. In use, a smoker slides the clip along the major axis of the lighter exposing the implement for the servicing of the smoker's pipe.

Abstract: A hookah accessory comprising a motor driven vacuum secured in a housing, vacuum port, filter between the vacuum port and vacuum used to apply a suction force used to ignite and start a hookah, blower port in pneumatic communication with the output/return port of the vacuum to provide a blow force used to clean hoses, switches in the vacuum and air pressure ports to automatically turn on the accessory when inserting a hose and fixed resistors in series with the switches for setting the vacuum at two constant speeds for a set suction force and set air pressure force. Alternatively, the accessory may have a variable resistor (rheostat) to adjust the speed of the motor, which adjusts the suction and blowing forces. The filter is in line with the vacuum port and vacuum to capture debris before it reaches the vacuum or vacuum motor. The vacuum and blower ports securely receive and hold different sized hoses and, or hose tips in a manner that creates a substantial airtight seal.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a device for aiding users in packing and clearing a smoking container or bowl. The device comprises a first upper tray comprising an edge region forming a rim and a base region forming a planar surface having a first side and a second side. There is a support element which can be formed as a one-piece support element or formed as a plurality of legs coupled to the first upper tray, and a second lower tray coupled to the support element. This second lower tray is formed as an ashtray and is spaced opposite the second side of the planar surface of the first upper tray. The first upper tray has a channel which extends through the planar surface on the first upper tray. This channel comprises a frusto-conical opening, extending away from the first side on the planar surface and an extending region extending from the second side on the planar surface.

An apparatus in accordance with the present invention comprises an inner geometric profile conforming to an outer shape of a cigarette lighter, a hollow chamber within the cigarette lighter holder for holding a retractable rod, and said retractable rod is longitudinally movable to extend along a vertical profile of the cigarette lighter holder to allow the rod to be physically extruded from the cigarette lighter holder.

Abstract: Thermal cleaning of an electrically heated smoking device, and in particular the removal of condensates formed within the smoking device as a result of extended periods of use, is achieved with a cleaning system that utilizes inductive heating that provides efficient and intense localized heating in the cleaning process. The thermal power of the inductive heating process is increased or the power necessary to activate the inductive heating process is decreased by the addition of a magnetic shell by itself or in combination with a magnetic pin.

Abstract: A pump cleaning unit for a heater fixture of a smoking device includes a base member. The base member includes a cup having an open end and a closed end, and a pedestal including a top part disposed in the cup proximate the open end of the cup and a leg connecting the top part to the closed end of the cup. A peripheral edge of the top part and an interior wall of the cup define a circumferential gap. The unit further includes a cylinder having a lower chamber and an upper chamber separated by a wall, a port extending through the wall. The cylinder has a cylinder wall proximate the lower chamber that fits in the circumferential gap and permits axial movement of the cylinder relative to the cup. A holder is provided for holding the heater fixture in the upper chamber over the port such that a central opening of the heater fixture is in flow communication with the port.

Abstract: A brush cleaning unit for a heater fixture of a smoking device includes a tube having a first end and a second end, the tube including a portion of a key for cooperating with a corresponding portion of the key on a heater fixture for attaching and orienting the heater fixture relative to the tube. The brush cleaning unit also includes a brush attached to the tube. The brush is axially movable relative to the tube and the heater fixture attached thereto. The brush is non-rotatable relative to the tube. A method for cleaning a heater fixture is also disclosed.

Abstract: A cleaning unit used to clean condensates formed during use of a component of a smoking system. The component can be a heating fixture having a cigarette receiving section and a plurality of longitudinally extending circumferentially spaced apart heating elements located within a can which accumulates the condensates. During a cleaning operation, the heating fixture is fitted within a cavity in the cleaning unit such that the cigarette receiving end of the heating fixture engages an O-ring and the terminal base portion abuts against an indented stop in an interior sidewall of a removable portion of the housing. The cleaning unit includes a water inlet connected to a source of pressurized water such as a faucet and a spray member extends into the cigarette receiving section to spray jets of water against the interior of the can.

Abstract: A gas lighter which includes a gas lighter unit controlled by a press button switch to produce a flame at a flame nozzle thereof for burning, a sliding track at one side of the gas lighter unit, a slide box mounted in the sliding track and moved in and out of a bottom side of the gas lighter unit, a slide moved in and out of the slide box and holding a cutter blade for cutting a head of a cigar being inserted into a blade hole on the slide box, and a sliding switch adapted to lock the slide box and the slide when the slide box and the slide are received inside the gas lighter unit.

Abstract: A pipe tool and method of filling. The pipe tool comprises a handle rigidly attached to a spade at an angle of approximately 225 degrees. A cross-sectional shape of an upper extreme of the spade is that of an arc of approximately 70 degrees, and a lower extreme whose shape is that of a spherical section. A cross-sectional thickness of said spade decreases linearly from the spade upper extreme to the spade lower extreme. The handle has a tamper which is shaped like a half-circle.

Abstract: A money clip and cigar cutting apparatus is provided with a housing having an opening therethrough. A cutting blade is supported by the housing such that a sharpened edge thereof traverses the opening for cutting a cigar. A money clip is pivotally attached to the housing so that the money clip can be pivoted clear of the cigar cutter.

Abstract: The invention is a device for cleaning tobacco residues from smoking pipes, comprising a generally hairpin-shaped piece of wire having one leg coiled to clean the bowl of a pipe and the other leg kinked to clean the stem of a pipe.

Abstract: A composite smoker's kit for preparing a pipe or a cigar for smoking. The kit is readily adaptable to the body portion of a lighter mechanism to enable easy transfer from a spent lighter mechanism to a fresh lighter mechanism and thereby enjoy a long lifetime of use. The kit features smoker's tools which are compactly mounted on a spring clip of the kit. The tools are detented on the lighter body when not in use but can be conveniently pivoted to operational position when desire is to use the tools.

Abstract: A pipe tamping tool 10 includes tamping member 26 integrally formed with cleaning member 28 capable of cleaning the interior of the bowl of the pipe. Medially formed on the cleaning member 28 is a reacting member 30 for retaining the pipe bowl in an upright position when placed upon a horizontal surface. The retaining member 30 is a substantially arcuate member which envelopes the stem of the pipe and which has outwardly flaired free edges or legs or flanges which radiate outwardly from the arcuate portion thereof. A clip 42 for attaching the device to an article of clothing, is integrally formed as part of the device. A flocking or similar material 40 can be adhered to the interior of the arcuate member 36 to prevent scratching of the pipe stem.

Abstract: A lighter for pipes and the like has a case thereof formed with a deep indentation extending upwardly from the bottom in spaced relation to one vertical side to form an integral pipe tamper structure and an insert containing wadding or the like for absorbing lighter fluid has a lower cut out portion encompassing the tamper structure and case indentation for slidable disposition in the case.

Abstract: Herein described is a combination key ring and smoker's tool which includes a cylindrical body which has a plunger protruding from one end of the body. By manipulation, the plunger extends outwardly from the body and can be used for packing a pipe bowl with tobacco. It can also be used as a device for holding cigarettes. An end clip is connected between the plunger and the body and has a downwardly depending knife-like edge to be used as a pipe scraper. Rings are attached to the clip in the end of the plunger device and can be attached to the smoking tool.

Abstract: A smoker's tool including a tobacco-presser means for pressing down the lighted tobacco arranged in a pipe-bowl, comprising a housing means, whereby said tobacco presser means includes a punch means which is movable between an operative position and an inoperative position, whereby said housing means is arranged to be opened and closed, said punch means in its inoperative position being arranged within said housing means, which housing means in its opened position releases said punch means, whereby said punch means is telescopically guided. The punch means is supported to glide freely and in its inoperative position interlocked with said housing means.

Abstract: This combination comprises a pyrophoric lighter having cover means for the lighter mechanism and a tamper device housed entirely within the cover means when the latter is in the closed position. Both the lighter mechanism and tamper device are conveniently exposed in an operative position by simply opening the cover means in a single motion. The tamper mechanism is controlled by the means for biasing the cover means in the closed position or holding it in the open position. The preferred embodiment of the combination is in the form of a pocket lighter which may be advantageously employed for both tamping pipe tobacco and lighting the same.

Abstract: A combination pipe and cigarette tool having a pair of slidable implements with one implement having a retractable cutting or scraper blade on one end and a tamper on the opposite end which can be locked in an operating or closed position in the pipe and cigarette tool housing. The second slidable implement includes a pipe pick on one end and cigarette clip on the opposite end which can hold a burning cigarette against the housing. When not in use a clip attached to the housing allows the tool to be clipped to a shirt pocket.

Abstract: A pipe tamper for and a method of tamping tobacco in a pipe bowl is disclosed. The pipe tamper includes a handle, preferably detachable, and a tamping head of a size to fit within the pipe bowl and having a face at an angle of from about 10.degree. to about 65.degree., and preferably 22.5.degree., to a plane extending through the tamping head thereby providing an angled face with a leading edge and trailing edge. Preferably, the handle is detachable and includes a pick which may be used to clean tobacco ashes from the pipe bowl.The method comprises tamping the tobacco's upper surface adjacent inner sides of the bowl generally into a compressed outer ring substantially devoid of air pockets and leaves the central portion with air pockets which provide a slower burning central portion and a faster burning outer ring resulting in a substantially even burn from the outside to the inside.

Abstract: An improved smoking pipe tamper means is provided wherein the tamper means is attached externally to any conventional lighter mechanism, said tamper means being adapted to slideably move between a first position wherein an enlarged tamper head means of the tamper means is contiguous to the exterior portion of the body member of said light mechanism and a second position wherein said enlarged tamper head means is spaced away from said light mechanism. In one embodiment the improved smoking pipe tamper means is adapted so that same can be interchangably placed upon a rectangular shaped lighter mechanism without damage to said tamper means or said lighter mechanism.
