Abstract: A hair coloring or highlighting application set includes a first strip of material having an adhesive allowing a user to attach the first strip to a section of hair which then hang loose while the user handles the colorant or bleach and brush. The user applies a colorant or bleach to the section of hair and overlays a second strip of material on the first strip of material. The second strip of material may by at least partly transparent and the target color may be applied to one side of the first strip of material to allow the user to easily determine when the hair section has achieved the target color.

Abstract: A multi-functional hairbrush with storage compartments for grooming, storing and organizing small beauty accessories, the hairbrush having a hollow brush head and main chamber, a brush lid portion attached hingedly to the hollow brush head, a plurality of spring clips mounted removably therewithin. The hairbrush also has a slot chamber positioned underneath the main chamber and a flat comb portion fitting within the slot chamber and inserted removably therewithin. The hairbrush has a hollow, elongated handle portion and an elongated chamber, with handle lid portion attached hingedly to the handle portion. Abstract: An attractive implement kit for personal care usage is provided. The kit includes a set of separate personal care implements and a case for securing an protecting the implements. The case includes a compartment having an opening communicating with the inside and a hinged cover for selectively closing the opening. One or more sleeves are mounted in the compartment in pivoting relation so that the sleeves may pivot outward from the compartment. Each of the sleeves includes an aperture into which one of the implements is received. The sleeves may pivot into the compartment and the cover may be closed to enclose the implements inside the case. A mirror is attached to the cover to facilitate use of the implements. The implements are independent when removed from the sleeves and are of high quality.

Abstract: A cosmetic container in accordance with the present invention comprises a base, a slide cover, a drawer and a transmission device. The base has a chamber, an opening and a mirror. The chamber is defined in the base. The opening is formed in the base and communicates with the chamber. The mirror is mounted on an upper part of the front. The slide cover is slidably mounted on the front of the base. The drawer is slidably mounted in the chamber of the base and selectively extends out of the chamber through the opening of the base. The transmission device is mounted inside the chamber, connects to the slide cover and the drawer and selectively ejects the drawer out of the base when driven by the slide cover. With the transmission, operating the cosmetic container is simple and convenient.

The case includes a pair of pivot shafts enabling selected compartments to pivot in an opposed lateral direction to an open position so that more than one compartment can be readily opened for concurrent display of their contents.

The elastic fixing plate can be protruded from the fixing body by opening the cover body. When using the hairbrush, the bristles are lined up by only opening the cover body. Preferably, a folded condition locking assembly is connected to the foldable reflective surface support assembly for retaining the apparatus in a folded up, carrying condition. With one embodiment of the invention, the non-folded reflective surface assembly includes panel-mounted non-folded reflective surfaces mounted one side of each of the respective support panels.

The mirror unit is constituted such that an LCD panel is stacked on a half mirror. By manipulating the operation button, a sample image is read from a memory card loaded in the memory slot. The read sample image is displayed on the LCD panel and is overlapped with a user's face reflected in the half mirror. Makeup is performed by tracing the sample image.

Abstract: Methods and systems for organizing cosmetics are disclosed. One cosmetic case system includes a body having a series of compartments that lock cosmetic containers into the compartment for ease of storage and use. The compartments include ridges that aid in locking the cosmetic containers into the compartments. Several of these cosmetic case bodies can be alternatively stacked so that storage capacity is increased. The cosmetic case can include a mirror on a surface of the body. The rouge compact includes a body, which has a frame provided with a central opening and a low, inner step, a hook formed on an upper center portion of the frame, and a first hinge boss formed on a lower portion of the frame. A transparent or translucent rouge pallet contains rouge, and has a trough member partitioned by one or more partition walls and a flange member extended from a circumferential edge of the trough member to be brought into contact with the step of the body. An intermediate plate is provided with a second hinge boss on its one side. A lid covers the rouge pallet, and is formed to be arcuate to form a cosmetic appliance containing space, and has a hook recess formed on an upper portion of the lid to be engaged with the hook, a third hinge boss formed on a lower portion of the lid, and a fourth hinge boss formed on one side of the lid.

Abstract: A contact lens kit or pouch organizer for removably storing a plurality of accessories which are contained in separate containers such as lens solutions, contact lens themselves, a drain catcher and a mirror. The organizer includes a box-like container properly sized to accommodate the shape and size of the contact lens accessories intended to be placed therein. A container closure includes an upper flap intended to fold over an opening leading into the interior of a storage compartment and which closes with a snap fastener on a bottom flap which folds across the bottom of the container and folds upwardly to receive the snap fastener on the upper flap. A mirror carried on the external surface of the container is covered by the bottom flap or the mirror can be mounted on the inside of the bottom flap so as to bear against the outside of the container when the bottom flap is folded.

When the user is done using the mirror surfaces, the mirror assembly is pivoted into a longitudinally aligned position on the yoke and the yoke is forced into a locked, retracted position inside the housing. An optional light is provided on the housing, which can be used to illuminate the used mirror surface and the reflected viewed surface.

The unit is molded of plastic to define a small rectangular frame whose rear face is integral with a tubular cap, the entry of which is at the lower end of the frame, a mirror being mounted on the front face of the frame. In the storage mode of the unit, the tip end of the cosmetic pencil is snugly telescoped in the cap. In an active mode, a user holding the pencil in one hand and grasping the unit with the other hand, withdraws the unit from the pencil and then defines with the cosmetic pencil her lips or eyes as she observes at close range her face in the mirror.

A plurality of individually packaged eye care products, such as contact lens solutions, artificial tears, and the like, are placed and retained in the pockets. The eye care kit may also include a holder panel overlapping the pouch with the back panel sandwiched between the front panel and the holder panel. The holder panel connects with the pouch along its side and bottom edges so that the back panel and the holder panel form an additional compartment therebetween. This compartment can be used to hold contact lens cases and lens paper for cleaning glasses, mascara, lipstick, money or other items.

Abstract: A cosmetic package includes an open-top casing, a closure and a tray pivotally mounted to opposite sides of the casing, with the tray removably carrying a plurality of elongated sticks each coated at one end with a cosmetic product, such as lipstick, nail polish or eye make-up. The elongated sticks can also take the form of make-up pencils. The tray includes a pair of parallel and spaced apart notched members, with the notches of one member being aligned with respective notches of the other member, whereby each pair of aligned notches cooperate for retaining one elongated stick. The elongated sticks are carried on the underside of the tray when it is retracted in the casing. Aligned openings are defined in the closure and in the tray for viewing the coated ends of the sticks when the package is closed. The opening of the closure is fitted with a protective window.

Abstract: The present invention is a viewing assembly that can selectively create optical compound corrections in the images reflected from the viewing assembly. The viewing assembly includes a reflective surface coupled to a supporting body in such a manner that the reflective surface conforms to the contour of the supporting body. The contour of the supporting body can then be selectively altered by the viewer of the viewing assembly, thereby changing the shape of the reflective surface and creating desired optical corrections in the viewed reflected images.

The inside of the case contains a mirror and compartments that readily provide access to cosmetics that can be conveniently applied while the user is sitting in the passenger compartment of a car. The case has a first portion that is coupled to a second portion by a hinge, which allows the portions to be moved between a folded position and an unfolded position. Each portion contains a pocket constructed to hold a number of cosmetic items. The case has a hanging strap and dual zippers that can secure the first and second portions of the case in the folded position. The hanging strap has an aperture which can be attached to a hook or other similar structure. The cosmetic case also has a pair of outer straps adapted to attach the case to the visor of an automobile.

Abstract: A case is disclosed for holding a lipstick in a conventional lipstick holder in combination with a lip brush, a clip for holding the top of a conventional lipstick and a mirror. The case consists of a hollow cylinder in which the lip brush is held in place by frictional engagement and a platform attached to the bottom of said cylinder having a circular portion in which a conventional lipstick holder can rest. Means for holding the conventional lipstick holder in position and a rotatable cap pivotally mounted on the top of said case to allow access to the lipstick holder during the application of lipstick. The mirror is mounted on the body of the case.
