Abstract: The present invention concerns apparatus and methods for covering and uncovering a desired object. Particular embodiments include a covering system comprising: a cover operably connected to a plurality of translational members translationally positioned along a track; two or more hangers having a vertically extending portion and an outwardly extending portion, the track being operably attached to the outwardly extending portion; means for mounting hangers in a rotatable arrangement to a structure about a vertical axis.

Abstract: A portable painting apparatus comprises a combination of a portable paint booth for holding an object to be painted, removable handles for moving objects coated with wet paint, an optional drying rack for wet painted objects, and accessory hangers adapted for suspending objects inside the portable paint booth or from the drying rack. The portable paint booth includes a support frame with a rotatable hub assembly for painting all sides of an object and a replaceable tent for providing a paint overspray and splatter barrier. The tent may optionally include exhaust ports for withdrawing paint vapor and airborne paint droplets from within the tent. The support frame, removable handles, and drying rack are adapted to hold painted objects coated with wet paint on all sides and edges without damaging the coating of wet paint.

Abstract: A supplemental support assembly is provided for supporting a collapsible shelter structure, such as a ground blind for hunting. The support assembly includes a pole having a coupler at one end for coupling with a framework of the shelter structure, and a ground engaging point at the other end. The coupler has a generally cylindrical structure with a plurality of slots formed in a sidewall thereof. Each of the slots have an axial portion open at the top and a circumferential portion extending circumferentially from the axial portion. The axial portions of the slots are arranged to allow the coupler to be pushed over a central hub with spokes of the framework passing through the slots, and the circumferential portions of the slots are arranged to allow the coupler to be rotated into locking engagement with the spokes. The support assembly prevents the shelter structure from collapsing under heavy loads.

Abstract: A portable hunting blind which is easily set up to provide the hunter with a sit or stand to search position, and a stand to shoot position. The blind includes a frame which is foldable into a collapsed position and expandable into a support position. A shaped cover is supported by the frame to provide a plurality of front panels, a pair of side panels, and a rear panel. The front panels include horizontal slits for searching and vertical slits for shooting.

Abstract: A tent frame is disclosed including at least three support legs. The at least three support legs may have a connected end and a free end and may include a collapsible truss with at least two compression members, a hinge situated between the compression members, and a tension member extending from a first point near the free end to a second point near the connected end. The at least three support legs may be joined at their respective connected ends. A tent is also disclosed including a collapsible frame and a shell adapted to cover the frame, the shell having at least one window opening and at least one window curtain covering the at least one window opening, the at least one window curtain being adapted to slidably open and close. A method of setting up a tent is also described.

Abstract: A camper trailer or caravan (10) includes a chassis (12) adapted to be attached to, and towed behind a motor vehicle (11). A housing (21) is mounted on the chassis (12) and defines a main chamber including a peripheral wall. The chassis (12) is short in length and about the same width as the towing vehicle (11) with the wheels (19) located adjacent the rear end of the chassis (12), and the housing (21) is adapted be opened such that panels (41) folded inside the housing when in the closed configuration are adapted to form annex chambers (42, 43) when in the open configuration when the camper trailer (10) is being used for camping and the like. A sleeping chamber (23) associated with the main chamber extends outside the peripheral walls of said camper trailer when required. Preferably there is a kitchen chamber and a bedding chamber within the housing of the camper trailer.

Abstract: A mechanism that is comprised of two or more four-bar linkages is shown. Each linkage shares a common link with each adjacent linkage and the movement of said two or more linkages is synchronized by mechanical means such that said mechanism may move between a collapsed and an extended state. Said mechanical means may be in the form of additional links or geared connections.

Abstract: A portable painting tent comprises a tall tripod frame with telescoping legs over which is draped a tent to control paint spray. Inside at the apex of the tripod, a swivel allows a standard house door, or other large items, to be hung from its top edge. A special bracket attaches to the top of the item, where it can be left unpainted, and the whole clips into a slot in the swivel. Both sides and edges of the item can be spray painted, and special handles are used to pick the wet item off the swivel and put it somewhere for drying. The whole tent can be folded up and carried away by collapsing the telescoping legs and folding them together in a tight bundle.

Abstract: A leg assembly includes at least three upright support members and at least three horizontal link members. Each of the support members includes an adjacent pair of planar first and second leg frames that are connected pivotally to each other, and at least one connecting plate disposed between the first and second leg frames so as to form an angle between the first and second leg frames such that the first and second leg frames can stand stably on a ground surface. Each of the link members is connected detachably to an adjacent pair of the support members so as to interconnect and position the support members relative to one another.

Abstract: A portable shelter is disclosed. The portable shelter includes a canopy and a frame supporting the canopy. The frame of the portable shelter includes a plurality of support poles and a plurality of cross poles. Each cross pole of the portable shelter is pivotally coupled between adjacent support poles for rotation about an axis parallel to the support poles. Each support pole moves between an extended position in which the support pole extends perpendicular to the cross poles and a collapsed position in which the support pole extends along the cross poles.

Abstract: A children's activity and entertainment enclosure includes a housing a plurality of legs attached to the housing to support the housing at a selected elevation above a support surface and a flexible sheet material covering the housing and at least upper portions of the legs. A plurality of activity stations are present within the enclosure as are a seat for seating a child and a suspension mechanism for suspending the seat from the housing so that a child sitting in the seat with feet engaging the support surface can maneuver within the enclosure from one activity station to another.

Abstract: A swirling type fabric canopy is affixed on an upright mast which can be incrementally rotated on a base to protect a person in one position while the sun travels during daylight. The swirling type canopy can be rotated from right-handed shading to left-handed shading and collapsed when not in use or for portage. An optional semi-circular non-folding canopy can be added on top.

Abstract: A portable collapsible shelter having particular use as a hunting blind. The shelter includes a plurality of generally C-shaped frame members and the upper ends of the frame members are connected to an upper connecting plate, while the lower portions of the frame members are connected to a lower connecting plate. A flexible cover is attached to the frame members and provides an enclosure. The frame members can be pivoted between a folded condition, where the frame members are in generally parallel relation, to an extended condition where the frame members extend radially from the connecting plates. The cover is provided with an access slit which extends the full height of the cover and can be closed through a fastener such as a zipper. An auxiliary panel can be connected to the side portion of the cover on either side of the slit. The panel extends outwardly from the cover and can be held in an outwardly bowed position by a ground stake.

Abstract: An easily assembled greenhouse apparatus includes a polymer tube frame formed with plastic tube frame members, some of which have a plurality of openings therein, which tubes are connected together with conventional plastic tube couplings. Each of a plurality of cover attaching members has a screen gripping portion and a tube attaching member for attaching to the polymer tube frame. A plastic covering extends over the polymer tube frame and is attached thereto with the plurality of cover attaching members attaching through the plastic covering and into one of the polymer tubing frame member openings. A door is formed with polymer tube frame members and has a polymer covering and a pair of hinge pins.

Abstract: A canopy assembly (10) comprising a canopy fabric (20) and furling means (40) extending between a pair of supports (30). The furling means (40) runs through the canopy fabric such that the canopy may be unfurled from both sides of the furling means simultaneously. Both free corners (22, 24) of the unfurled canopy are tethered to the ground or posts (50) to provide a taut smooth canopy. The tension in the furling means (40) is adjustable such that it remains substantially straight and taut in a furling condition, and in an erected condition may be relaxed to conform to the curved shape of the canopy.

Abstract: A plurality of independent U-shaped frame sections are articulately connected in an end series to form a flexible corridor. Each frame section is U-shaped being open at the bottom and supported on a wheel assembly and covered by a weatherproof fabric roof. Each is formed with collapsible side walls allowing collapsing in the longitudinal direction.
