Abstract: A folding mechanism contains a rail which forms a guide for a series of runners which are slideable in relation to each other on the rail, whereby each runner or at least a part thereof is provided with a rib which is attached hingeably on the runner around a shaft largely perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rail between an open position whereby the ribs are turned away from the rail and a closed position whereby the ribs are turned towards the rail and whereby at least some of the ribs lying on the same side of the rail are connected with each other using a transmission which, when sliding the runners towards or away from each other on the rail, makes the ribs hinge on the runners.

Abstract: An apparatus for securing licking branches to a support structure includes a body suitable for attachment to a support structure, at least one branch holder extending outwardly from the annular body, and securing means for securing a branch in place within the branch holder. The securing means may include a clamp. The body may be an annular body for fitting over the support structure. The body ma include a surface for fitting against the support structure with at least one loop operatively connected to the support structure. The angle of each of the at least one branch holder is adjustable.

Abstract: A canopy apparatus includes a support assembly extending from an attached bracket configured to be fixed to a bicycle to an attached canopy extending outwardly from the support assembly over the bracket for providing shade or shelter from the Sun and weather conditions, and a caution flag, or increasing the visibility of the canopy apparatus, depending downwardly from the canopy to an intermediate position of the support assembly between the bracket and the canopy. The support assembly includes a plurality of segments releasably secured with lock pins and compression couplings.

Abstract: A baby carriage includes a frame, a first canopy mechanism and a second canopy mechanism. The frame includes a first side tube, a second side tube, and a central tube located between the first side tube and the second side tube. The first canopy mechanism includes a first canopy, a first side socket connected on the first side tube, and a first central socket connected on the central tube, wherein opposite ends of the first canopy are connected to the first side socket and the first central socket respectively. The second canopy mechanism includes a second canopy, a second side socket connected on the second side tube, and a second central socket connected on the central tube, wherein opposite ends of the second canopy are connected to the second side socket and the second central socket respectively.

Abstract: A tent having two joints, multiple frames and a fly. The frames are mounted on the joints and are classified into a stationary frame, a supporting frame and at least one pivoting frame. The frames cooperate to define a parking space for receiving a cycle when unfolding. The fly covers the frames and the parking space. The frames are capable of folding and overlapping one another to facilitate carrying and storage of the tent.

Abstract: An apparatus for providing protection from rays from the sun while performing outdoor tasks including at least one of mowing a lawn with a lawn mower and pushing a stroller. The apparatus comprises a sunshade having a predetermined shape, a predetermined size and formed of a first predetermined material. A frame member includes at least two substantially U-shaped members and is engageable with an underside of the sunshade. A respective one of a pair of elongated members is engageable at a first end thereof with a respective end of one of the at least two substantially U-shaped members and is further engageable on a second end with a handle of at least one of a lawn mower and a stroller. One of a clamp and a screw member is used for securing the pair of elongated members to such handle of such lawn mower and such stroller.

Abstract: A motorcycle seat covering system includes a motorcycle having a frame, handlebars, seat and rack extending rearward of the seat. A housing has a pair of end walls and a perimeter wall extending between the end walls. The housing has an elongated opening therein. A coupling assembly couples the housing to the handlebars. A spindle is mounted within the housing and extends through a sleeve. A biasing member biases rotation of the sleeve in a first direction with respect to the spindle. A flexible panel is attached to the sleeve and has a free end extending outwardly of the housing through the slot. The panel is rolled up onto the sleeve when the sleeve is rotated in the first direction. A fastener is attached to the free end and is releasably attached to the rack when the panel is pulled outwardly from the housing to cover the seat.

Abstract: A rectangular wing formed by two parallel fiberglass ribs, tubular leading edge and tubular trailing edge with a nylon cover. The attack angle of the leading edge is controlled by the rider of the bicycle or tricycle giving lift to the wing. This lift assists in the support of the wing allowing for lighter wing ribs to be used in the construction. The lighter construction and reduced wind resistence increases the efficiency of the bicycle or tricycle using less human effort for propulsion while providing protection from sun and light rain.

Abstract: A tent is provided for use with a bicycle. The bicycle includes a handle bar, a front fork and a front wheel. The tent includes a cloth and a connecting device. The cloth includes a first end that can be supported on the handle bar and secured to the ground and a second end that can be supported on the front wheel detached from the front fork and secured to the ground. The connecting device is used for stable installment of the front fork on the ground.

Abstract: A portable shelter in the form of a containerized tent having a hinged, folding and telescoping overhead support structure that mounted, stored and supported within a transportable container, wherein the tent box is capable of mounting on a variety of on and off-road vehicles, wherein the shelter is quickly and easily erected and dismantled by one individual, and wherein the full length of the tent is securely supported to prevent structural failure during utilization thereof, thereby enabling camping in remote locations.

Abstract: A bicycle protector which comprises a cushioning cover adapted to be draped over a wheeled bicycle to cover at least the bicycle frame from the right and left hand sides and having fastening means, to secure the cover in place by attachment to or around the bicycle or a part thereof, the cover being filled in use with a resilient cushioning material to protect the bicycle frame from damage in storage or transit.

Abstract: A canopy is formed of an oval flexible sheet of solar radiation and wind resistant material held in extended position by a resilient band and sized so that the band and sheet material are pulled into a saddle shape. Support for the canopy is provided by two flexible supports attached to the canopy at its edges and to a base structure, such as a wheel chair, stroller, patio rail or lawn chair. The supports are long enough so that the canopy can be adjusted to various positions above and alongside the occupant of the base structure for overhead and lateral shelter. The supports are nonresilient and are stiff enough to hold the canopy in the selected position into which it is placed.
