Control By Filling Auxiliary Tank Patents (Class 137/134)
  • Patent number: 11604039
Abstract: The present invention relates to a passive pulse water flow adjustment device for water flow cooling. The device includes a water storage container and a pulse water flow adjustment structure, wherein the water storage container is arranged in front of a to-be-cooled high-temperature wall surface through the pulse water flow adjustment structure, and the pulse water flow adjustment structure provides a non-continuous pouring pulse water flow for the high-temperature wall surface. This device is used to cool the high-temperature wall surface, and when being cooled, the high-temperature wall surface is poured by the pulse water flow.

  • Patent number: 10161077
Abstract: A washing machine with a liquid additive supply device capable of sensing an amount of liquid additive contained therein. A buoyancy body and a sensing unit are disposed in a reservoir tank of the liquid additive supply device. The vertical position and therefore the distance between the buoyancy body and a sensing unit vary with the surface level of liquid additive in the reservoir tank due to buoyancy effect. The buoyancy body may include a magnetic body and the sensing unit can detect the intensity of the magnetic body. The surface level of the liquid additive is too low, the sensing unit can generate a signal indicative of liquid additive shortage.

  • Patent number: 9016982
Abstract: A system for recirculating lock water includes a sealable storage area located near a lock for receiving water from the lock. The storage area is large enough to house the lock water with excess space between a maximum water level and the ceiling. The system also includes at least one compressor connected to the storage area to create a vacuum to withdraw the water from the lock into the storage area.

  • Patent number: 7931019
Abstract: A self-powered pump for heated liquid is provided. The pump includes an airtight container for containing the heated liquid. A heated liquid inlet pipe extends upwardly into the container such that its end is within the container. A heated liquid outlet is lower than the end of the inlet pipe. A breathing pipe extends upwardly into the container such that its end is within the container and is higher than both of the outlet and the end of the inlet pipe but lower than an interior side of the container top. An opposite end of the breathing pipe is outside the container, lower than the container base, and is received by an open container such that the opposite end can become submerged in heated liquid accumulated within the open container during pump operation. A fluid or liquid heating system incorporating the self-powered pump may operate without external power for the pump.

  • Patent number: 4236509
Abstract: The curving device in an endoscope is made highly flexible yet resistant to bending. The guide tube of the curving end section is provided with a groove or ring-shaped grooves which are formed respectively spirally or at equal intervals in the outer wall of the guide tube. The coil is made of a wire whose diameter is substantially equal to the depth of the groove or grooves and smaller than the width of the groove or grooves. The coil is fitted into the groove or grooves in a spiral manner.

  • Patent number: 4093551
Abstract: A device for purifying water in small sewer systems (e.g. a system connected to one or a few family houses) includes means for automatic addition of a chemically active liquid to the water passing through the device. The invention eliminates the need of any movable parts by using two siphon tubes controlling the liquid supply. One of the siphon tubes is traversed by the sewer water and the corresponding flow generates a suction which is relied upon to transfer the chemically active liquid through the second siphon tube.
