With Leakage Or Entrained Air Removal Patents (Class 137/144)
  • Patent number: 6474356
Abstract: A device for controlling a liquid flow by a gas pressure. The device includes a pressure chamber, in which an overpressure, an underpressure or atmospheric pressure may prevail. The pressure in the pressure chamber can be used for allowing the liquid flow to pass or for stopping the liquid flow. Furthermore the liquid flow can be limited to a predetermined rate of flow. The device may interalia be used in sewage systems, hydraulic engineering works and irrigation works.

  • Patent number: 5035535
Abstract: A device for regulating the flow in a drainage siphon tube, includes a rigid tube connected to the outlet end of the siphon tube. The rigid tube is placed on a brace such that it can oscillate around a horizontal axis by means of a counter-weight. Pivoting upward of the tube is limited by a high block stop and pivoting downward is limited by a low block stop in such a way that when the siphon tube is delivering above its critical point, the tube is tilted downward, resting on the lower block stop and when the critical outflow is reached, the tube empties itself and comes to rest against the higher block stop by means of the counterweight. An increase in the pressure at the inflow end of the siphon tube results in a rise of the water in the rigid tube until the imbalance makes it pivot to the downward tilted position where it rests on the low block stop and delivery higher than the critical point ejects the gas bubbles accumulated at the high point of the siphon tube.

  • Patent number: 4802897
Abstract: A process and apparatus for separating a volatile gas from a liquid in which it is dissolved. The liquid flows through a conduit having obstructions to cause separation by centripetal forces created as the liquid flows around the obstruction. The gases thus freed are collected on a surface disposed within the flow. The flow is advantageously through a syphon-like device thus reducing the pressure in the liquid to further assist separation.

  • Patent number: 4102523
Abstract: A sewage hose support system for recreational vehicles of a type using an elongated sewage hose leading to a sewer pipe. The system having an elongated support assembly module, having upwardly facing hose-engaging surfaces for engaging the right and left undersides of a hose, the module having at least two lengthwise sections telescopically attached for lengthwise collapsing, each lengthwise section having right and left parts interconnected by flexible straps, certain of which are slidable lengthwise along portions of the right and left hose engaging portions to which they are attached so as to prevent right and left portions of the module from spreading apart, while yet permitting lengthwise sections of the module to be telescopically retracted into lesser shape for storage in a trailer or vehicle for road travel.
