  • Patent number: 11029076
Abstract: A passive air conditioner drain line chlorinator that is connected to the outlet of a pan of an air conditioner and the drain line of the air conditioner. The drain line chlorinator comprises of a sloped housing that has an inlet and an outlet. A sloped cartridge that has at least two compartments is placed within the sloped housing. The sloped cartridge defines staggered thru holes between each compartment. Algae or mold eliminating tablets are placed within the compartments. And, a cover covers a central aperture of the sloped housing. The inlet of the sloped housing attaches to a drain line that leaves the pan of an air conditioner and the outlet of the sloped housing attaches to the drain line of the air conditioner.

  • Publication number: 20140373933
Abstract: A connector for use in a negative pressure coolant system is disclosed. The connector connects coolant system circulating to an electrical component thereby allowing the coolant to circulate through the electrical component. The connector is made up of two components, a component side connector and a pump side connector, and can be in three positions: disengaged, semi-engaged and fully-engaged. An electrical component can be drained of its coolant while the connector is shifted from the fully-engaged position, to the semi-engaged position and to the disengaged position. This can be accomplished without shutting down the negative pressure coolant system, thus allowing a particular electrical component to be disconnected without affecting the cooling efficiency of other electrical components connected to the system. Because the coolant is drained, it will not spill on the electrical component and cause damage.

  • Publication number: 20140350736
Abstract: A fluid density valve monitoring and access system secures the operation of an actuator that opens or closes a valve to a storage vessel, well or pipeline. The fluid density valve monitoring and access system includes a valve, an actuator, a mass flow meter, and a communication device that communicates with the valve actuator, the mass flow meter and an off-site secure website via the internet. The fluid density valve monitoring and access system has a mass flow meter that constantly monitors the fluid density of fluid passing through a valve either into or out of a storage vessel, well or pipeline. The fluid density valve monitoring and access system closes the valve whenever the fluid to be pumped through the valve has a density outside of an acceptable density range that has been programmed into the communication device. The monitoring system also notifies one or more persons whenever the valve is closed because the fluid has as density outside of an acceptable density range.

  • Patent number: 8651128
Abstract: A method and apparatus for isolating a section of sewer line. In one embodiment, a chamber is provided that extends into the ground and intersects a sewer pipe. Thereafter, the fluid in the sewer pipe is exposed to an interior of the chamber and a dam is placed in the chamber to isolate an upstream portion of the chamber from a downstream portion. As fluid collects in the upstream side of the chamber, at least one pump is used to control the fluid level in the upstream portion by transferring the fluid from the chamber to a predetermined, remote location.

  • Publication number: 20130193142
Abstract: A cell cap including a base, a top, a connector, one or more wings between the base and the top, and a lock. The top may engage the base and be moveable relative to the base. The connector may be moveable relative to only one of the base and the top. Each wing may have a first portion engaging the connector and a second portion engaging the cell. When pressure within the cell exceeds pressure outside the cell, the lock may lie in a first position, preventing relative movement between the base and the top. When pressure within the cell does not exceed pressure outside the cell, the lock may lie in a second position, allowing relative movement between the base and the top to cause the connector to move the first portion of the wing, thereby causing the second portion of the wing to move.

  • Patent number: 6837262
Abstract: A refueling system for vehicles including a dual valve receiver connected in fluid communication with the fuel tank, and a jet sensor inside of the fuel tank and in fluid communication with the receiver. The refueling system further includes a relief valve vent in fluid communication with the fuel tank to vent the fuel tank and to relieve pressure that may otherwise build up inside the fuel tank during refueling. When refueling with an automatic shutoff nozzle, the sensor detects when a desired fuel level has been reached, and then informs the receiver to prevent fuel flow into the tank. When this occurs, the pressure inside the receiver and automatic shutoff nozzle increases, causing the nozzle to shut off automatically.
