  • Patent number: 9809962
Abstract: A recreational vehicle holding tank drain clearing assembly includes a tube having a first end, a second end and a perimeter wall. A first mating member is attached to the first and engages a first connecting member of a holding tank drain. A second mating member is attached to the second end and engages a drainage conduit. A cap is removably coupled to the second end of the tube. An air inlet is mounted on the cap and is fluidly coupled to the tube. A closure is mounted on the tube and is positioned in a first position preventing fluid movement through the tube or in a second position allowing fluid movement through the tube. Air is injected into the tube through the air inlet such that the air removes material trapped in the holding tank drain to increase flow from the holding tank through the holding tank drain.

  • Patent number: 9523438
Abstract: A valve assembly includes a valve body with an interior cavity and a primary supply port, a secondary supply port, a control port, and an exhaust port each extending to the interior cavity. An armature assembly is configured to move within the interior cavity from a first position to a second position when the coil is energized. A regulator body is operatively connected to the valve body and has an exhaust passage positioned at the exhaust port. A regulator valve in the regulator body is configured to prevent flow out of the exhaust passage when fluid pressure on the regulator valve is at or below a pilot pressure and permit flow out of the exhaust passage when fluid pressure on the regulator valve is greater than the pilot pressure. The valve body is configured to provide fluid from the secondary supply port to the control port.

  • Patent number: 6691731
Abstract: A corporation stop cleaner device includes a T-shaped body having an inlet end, an outlet end, a flushing inlet connection and a flushing outlet connection. The T-shaped body is attached to the fluid inlet of a corporation stop. A removable brush is mounted on one end of a rigid rod and is forced through the T-shaped body and into the corporation stop. The brush abuts the inner surfaces of the corporation stop to remove debris or the like from the inner surfaces of the corporation stop. Flushing water flows through the T-shaped body to remove debris removed from the corporation stop. An optional pipe cleaning tool includes the T-shaped body attached to a service water line with an expandable brush mounted on one end of a flexible cable wherein the brush expands through the pipe cleaning tool inside of the water pipe to remove debris from the line that is stopping flow of water therethrough.

  • Patent number: 6363566
Abstract: A blockage clearing apparatus to clear blockages in both drain valves and in pipes. A cylindrical housing holds a piston connected to a cylindrical rod. The piston moves within the cylindrical housing in response to pressure placed on the piston either manually by an operator or by hydraulic or pneumatic power. As the piston moves in the cylindrical housing, the rod connected to the piston moves back and forth in response to the motion of the piston. The blockage clearing apparatus is mounted to a drain valve or to an opening in a pipe. When operated by pneumatic power, valves, manual or solenoid controlled, will control the flow of air in and out of ports in the cylindrical housing, creating a pressure differential within the housing to actuate the motion of the piston, hence, of the rod. The rod will extend from the housing through an open drain valve and into the pipe that is in fluid communication with the drain valve.

  • Patent number: 6206021
Abstract: A sleeve valve comprises a sleeve and a gate. The sleeve includes an intake, a discharge nozzle section, and a clean-out section. The discharge nozzle section includes a plurality of nozzles. The sleeve is adapted for fluid flow from the intake through a fluid passage and out the nozzles. The clean-out section includes at least one access port. The gate is adapted for sliding within the sleeve in sliding sealing engagement with the interior surface of the sleeve between closed, throttling, open, and clean positions. The gate and sleeve are configured so that the gate, when in the closed position, prevents fluid within the fluid passage from flowing out the nozzles and the access port. The gate and sleeve, when in the throttling position, permits fluid within the fluid passage to flow out some of the nozzles but prevents fluid within the fluid passage from flowing out the access port of the clean-out section and others of the nozzles.

  • Patent number: 6182677
Abstract: A cleanout fitting for air conditioner evaporator drains facilitates the mechanical cleanout and hydraulic flushing of the entire drain line from an air conditioner evaporator unit, or air handler. The present fitting essentially comprises an asymmetric T configuration, with a shutoff valve in one side of the crossmember of the T and a removable cap in the opposite end of the crossmember. The fitting is normally configured with the cap in place to block drainage therefrom, and with the valve open to permit flow from the evaporator pan through that crossmember side and out the stem of the T to an appropriate drain system. When the line becomes blocked and causes water in the evaporator pan to back up, the plug is removed, allowing a mechanical cleanout tool (snake, etc.) to be passed straight through the crossmember of the T and its open valve, to the evaporator pan.
