Abstract: A seat assembly for a valve includes an annular seat carrier with an annular sealant groove formed along an inner side. The seat carrier has at least one sealant injection port extending there through from an outer side and intersecting the sealant groove for injecting a sealant into the sealant groove. A sealant distribution member extends along the sealant groove to cooperate with the seat carrier to define an annular sealant flow path along the inner side of the seat carrier. The sealant distribution member has a plurality of openings formed there through to provide a plurality of fluid flow passageways from the sealant groove for injecting the sealant between the seat carrier and the valve member.
Abstract: An improved greasing valve (10, 10?) for pressure devices especially suitable for being applied on plants for applications on pressure devices/plants/containers such as valves, pumps, conduits, compressors, turbines, boilers, tanks and the like, containing liquid or gas with the function of preventing leaks of liquid or gas and allowing pressure control in the plant in case of maintenance work and prior to removing components, the valve comprising devices for cutting off the fluid or gas, lubrication devices and control devices, with said axial and ball/pin sealing devices integrated and/or assembled to a body (12, 12?) of the same safety valve.
Abstract: A valve (20) is provided for sealing an evacuation port (16) in a port area (18) of a wall structure (12) of a container. The valve (20) comprises a casing (22) having a shell portion (30) which is deformable from an open condition, whereat the shell portion (30) forms a chamber (32) over the port area (18), and a closed condition, whereat the shell portion (30) contacts the port area (18). When the shell portion (30) is in its open condition, gas exits from the chamber (32) through gas-releasing holes (24) in the casing (22). When the shell portion (30) is deformed to its closed condition, a port-sealing adhesive (26) adheres to the port area (18) to thereby seal the evacuation port (16).

Abstract: An improved ball valve assembly is provided for use on firefighting equipment and other applications. The ball valve assembly includes an improved seal assembly which includes both a load bearing seal element and a soft elastomeric seal element. Both seal elements are held in place by a seat member which is accommodated in a recess provided on the inside surface of the seat housing or valve body. The load bearing seal member provides support for the ball element and serves to wipe or remove debris from the ball element before the ball element engages the soft elastomer seal. As a result, the load bearing seal member removes the stress normally imparted to soft elastomer seals utilized in ball valve assemblies. Further, a lubrication fitting and passageways are provided which enable lubricant to be communicated through the housing and through the seal assembly to the ball element.
