  • Patent number: 11952200
Abstract: The present invention is a snack containment and dispensing apparatus having a plurality of separate snack containment compartments, a preferably transparent lid having an opening therein, and a lockable plunger or like means to index or rotate the lid such that access to a singular snack compartment is obtained one-at-a-time. The rotation of the tray can alternately be accomplished through electromechanical means or through a ratcheting handle on the outside of the tray. The electromechanical actuation can be connected to external devices to track data about the use and contents of the device. Additionally, a door latch on the lid can selectively attach to and release from the tray through the depression of a door latch actuator. Additionally, the contents of the tray can be temperature controlled either through a passive heating or cooling back in the wall of the tray or through electromechanical means.

  • Patent number: 7147002
Abstract: A multi-function fluid flow control device is disclosed. A body houses a filter screen, a check valve and an orifice plate mounted on a frame which is removable from the body as a unit through an opening in the body sealed by a removable plug. The orifice plate is removable from the frame to permit different sized orifices to be fitted. An inlet in the body conducts pressurized fluid through the filter screen, through the check valve and then out through an outlet in the body, both the inlet and outlet being adapted for convenient connection to a piping network. An opening in the body in fluid communication with the inlet and sealable by a removable plug allows the screen to be flushed for removal of debris.

  • Patent number: 6978801
Abstract: A backflow prevention valve includes a cylindrical case member with an inflow opening at one end and an outlet at the other end or a peripheral surface or both, and a valve member contacting a peripheral edge of the inflow opening for closing the inflow opening. An urging device urges the valve member toward the inflow opening, and a liquid inflow pipe is connected to the inflow opening from outside the case member. The liquid inflow pipe has a smooth inner surface without unevenness, and is attached to a fuel supply pipe inside the fuel tank. When the fuel is supplied, the valve member moves against an urging force of the urging device due to a fuel pressure, so that the inflow opening opens.

  • Patent number: 6948516
Abstract: An excess tire air pressure relief valve positioned on an automobile tire for relieving the pressure within the tire caused by heat or over inflation. The valve has a main tube that extends through the tire rim, to selectively communicate air from the tire interior to the tire exterior. The tube has a spring that extends between a pair of disks. A seal is positioned below the spring support disk and is pressed against a lower lip by the spring to prevent air leakage through the tube. The spring is selected to exert sufficient force against the seal to prevent air leakage through the main tube. When internal pressure is greater than normal within the tire, the spring is urged outward, allowing air to escape around the edges of the spring support disk until the internal pressure lowers such that the spring can once again hold the seal tightly against the bottom lip.

Abstract: A low deviation pressure relief valve for a fuel pump consisting of a housing having an elongated bore having a continuous wall, an axis, shoulders arranged on the wall so as to extend toward the axis. A ball in the housing has a diameter at least less than the diameter of the bore and a ball retainer located in the bore upstream from the shoulders forms a ball seat by pre-coining process. The ball is smaller than the retainer seat in diameter to ensure an edge seal with the ball. A spring coaxial with the axis located down stream from the ball retainer and supported on the shoulders, and the ball is located between the spring and the ball seat wherein low flow restriction is created and reduced pressure variation is created as fluid flows past the ball and less buckling in the spring is created by guide ribs.

Abstract: The check valve according to the invention significantly reduces the generation of noise by producing an asymmetrical circulation around the closing body causing a force resulting from the flow and acting on the closing body to have a transverse component in relation to the opening direction, as a result of which increased friction and damping are generated in the closing body guide. The closing body may be asymmetrically embodied, or the housing wall encompassing the closing body may be provided with a conduit extending in the opening direction over at least a part of the travel path of the closing body.
