Abstract: A medical stopcock which allows easier switching operation of plural branch-tubes. The main body of the stopcock comprises a chamber part with a nearly spherical inner surface, and an upstream branch-tube, a downstream branch-tube and a merge-branch-tube all extending from the chamber part. A valve body of the stopcock comprises a nearly spherical valve main body and a rod-shaped operating part with a guide hole linking the inner surface of the chamber part to the outside. In operation, the rod-shaped operating part is moved along the guide hole through the use of the horizontal flow passages and the vertical flow passage to allow the predetermined branch-tubes out of the upstream branch-tube, the downstream branch-tube and the merge-branch-tube to communicate with one another or to shut-off the communication.

Abstract: Provided is a dialysate supply device and a blood dialyzing apparatus including the same. The dialysate supply device includes a flow controller controlling a dialysate flow, a supply pump supplying dialysate to a hemodialyzer, a recovery pump discharging dialysate from the hemodialyzer, a volume chamber storing dialysate, and a pressure-relief bypass maintaining dialysate pressure within a permissible range. The blood dialyzing apparatus includes the dialysate supply device, a blood tube, and a one-way valve disposed on the blood tube. The blood dialyzing apparatus can quickly change dialysate pressure in the hemodialyzer using the dialysate supply device having the flow controller, cylinder and piston, and increase mass transfer and hemodialysis efficiency. Also, the blood dialyzing apparatus may be miniaturized and lightened to provide a portable blood dialyzing apparatus because blood is transferred without using a blood pump.

  • Patent number: 9790765
Abstract: An apparatus for sealing at least one hub bore of a multi-bore fluid hub associated with a wellhead assembly includes a plug body having a plug bore opening on an outer mating surface. A plug bore extends from a first end of the plug body to the plug bore opening. The plug body is selectively insertable into a hub housing of the multi-bore fluid hub. An insert is in engagement with the outer mating surface and is moveable relative to the plug body between an unengaged position, and an engaged position where the insert seals across one of the hub bores. A stem member is coupled to the plug body and is moveable to selectively rotate the plug body within the multi-bore fluid hub so that the plug bore opening aligns with one of the hub bores and the insert aligns with another of the hub bores.
