Simultaneously Moved Port Controllers Patents (Class 137/630.17)
  • Patent number: 11300215
Abstract: A valve body and a control valve including such a valve body, the valve body including an inlet, an outlet, a valve port defined therebetween, and a plurality of discrete flow channels extending between the inlet and the valve port to distribute fluid flow to the valve port in a manner that equalizes the velocity of fluid at the perimeter of the valve port. The plurality of discrete flow channels includes (i) one or more first flow channels arranged to direct a first amount of the fluid flow to a front portion of the valve port, (ii) one or more second flow channels arranged to direct a second amount of the fluid flow to a rear portion of the valve port, and (iii) one or more third flow channels arranged to direct a third amount of the fluid flow to one or both side portions of the valve port.

  • Patent number: 10774933
Abstract: A valve assembly includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet spaced from each other, a first chamber defining the inlet, a second chamber defining the outlet, and a valve seat disposed between the first and second chambers, wherein fluid communicates between the first and second chambers. A valve head is disposed in the housing and moveable relative to the housing between an open position spaced from the valve seat and a closed position engaged with the valve seat. A valve stem is coupled to the valve head for moving the valve head between the open and closed positions. The valve stem is coupled to the valve head and rotatably and reciprocally movable for moving the valve head between the open and closed positions. A retainer plate is coupled to the valve head and a valve seal is disposed between the valve head and the retainer plate. The valve head includes an integrally formed rivet that secures the retainer plate to the valve head, thereby retaining the valve seal to the valve head.

  • Patent number: 9290918
Abstract: An outlet fitting for discharging a fed liquid, in particular a sanitary water supply fitting, has a basic body with a connection for connecting to a liquid supply, and an outlet body connected to the basic body. The disclosure concerns a basic body for use with an outlet body, an outlet body for use with a basic body, as well as their combination in an outlet fitting wherein the outlet body forms a liquid container that is removable from the basic body and can be mounted, for example, on a washbasin or sink.

  • Publication number: 20140137969
Abstract: A valve assembly includes a housing having a first chamber, a second chamber, and a valve seat disposed therebetween. A valve head disposed in the housing and is moveable between an open position and a closed position. The valve head defines a bore extending along an axis from the first chamber to the second chamber when the valve head is in the closed position. A valve stem is disposed in the bore and is coupled to the valve head in the bore for moving the valve head between the open and closed positions. The valve assembly allows for selective fluid communication between the first and second chambers to alleviate pressure differences between the first and second chambers. In one embodiment, the valve stem moves in the bore between a sealed position and an unsealed position. In another embodiment, a check valve is disposed in the bore.

  • Patent number: 6309033
Abstract: A switchable solenoid valve is disposed between the master cylinder port and the wheel caliper port for an anti-lock brake system. The switchable solenoid valve includes a valve housing, a valve seat that includes a center orifice and a plurality of perimeter bores, and an axially moveable valve plate and tappet for sealing against the valve seat. The switchable solenoid valve is movable between a normally open position, a closed position and an intermediate position that occurs when the brake system is in anti-lock mode. In the open position, both the valve plate and tappet are spaced away from the valve seat to allow unrestricted pressure fluid flow between the master cylinder and the wheel caliper. When the solenoid valve is moved in to the closed position, the valve plate is in face-to-face engagement with the valve seat to seal the perimeter bores while the tappet is simultaneously sealingly engaged with the center orifice.

  • Patent number: 6197195
Abstract: A flow control assembly is provided with a cartridge which includes a body sized and shaped so as to be received in a housing of fluid handling apparatus, such as duplex strainers and diverter valves. The body has a first chamber and a second chamber adjacent to the first chamber. The first chamber includes a first fluid inlet and first and second fluid outlets, while the second chamber includes second and third fluid inlets and a third fluid outlet. A first valve is movably positioned in the first chamber. The first valve is movable between a first position, in which fluid passes from the first fluid inlet to the first fluid outlet, and a second position, in which fluid passes from the first fluid inlet to the second fluid outlet. A second valve is also movably positioned in the second chamber.
