Abstract: Realized is a pedal mechanism that does not lock and does not provide an operation feeling unless operated in a determined order. The pedal mechanism has first and second pedals 105 and 106, first and second plates 108 and 109, and a locking bar 115. The radius of the second plate 109 is smaller than that of the first plate 108, and the second plate does not come into contact with the locking bar in a state where a circular-arc region of the first plate supports the locking bar 115. Therefore, the second pedal does not give an operation feeling even when stepped on, and the second plate cannot be locked. In a locked state where the locking bar is located in a cutout region of the first plate, the locking bar contacts the second plate, the second pedal provides an operation feeling, and the second plate can be locked.

An inlet valve (11), an outlet valve (12) and a locking valve (13) each include a valve body (24), a tappet (26) and a closing spring (27). The inlet valve (11) and the outlet valve (12) are arranged in one common plane to face in opposite directions. The closing springs (27) of the inlet valve (11) and of the outlet valve (12) also serve to move the actuation element (33) from the lifting position or from the lowering position to the stop position when the operator releases the actuation element (33).

Abstract: A sequencing valve and associated hydronic system are provided. The valve has first and second ports, which can be connected to a heat exchange device, and the valve is configured to selectively provide multiple fluids to the heat exchange device. For example, the valve can selectively connect hot and cold water supplies to the heat exchanger so that the heat exchanger can be used alternately to heat and cool air for a refrigeration system. The valve can include check valves that are adjusted by rotatable cams for controlling the flow of fluids into and out of the ports. Each cam can be mounted on a rotatable shaft so that the cams rotate to adjust the check valves between open and closed positions.

  • Patent number: 6789574
Abstract: A pneumatic control assembly includes a valve forming a bore that is openably blocked by a spring-biased, first plug. An inner rod is movable in the bore with a lower end engageable with the first blockage plug and an upper end forming a second plug. The inner rod is spring biased to separate from the first plug. An intermediate rod forms a channel having an opening confronting and separated from the second plug by a basing spring. A vent hole is defined in the intermediate rod and in fluid communication with the channel. A piston is formed around the intermediate rod between the opening and vent hole. An outer rod is supported on the piston by a resilient member. When the outer rod is forced toward the intermediate rod, the resilient member is deformed, driving the intermediate rod toward the inner rod and the second plug blocks the opening of the intermediate rod. The engagement between the intermediate and inner rods drives the inner rod to urge the first plug to open the bore.

  • Patent number: 6578819
Abstract: An improved hydraulic valve for a camera dolly includes a valve pin having an extension within a valve housing to reduce vibration and noise and to reduce hydraulic closing forces. The valve pin is resiliently supported by e.g., rubber o-rings at both ends. Valve performance is improved as reducing hydraulic forces on the valve pin results in smooth valve operation, especially when opening the valve under heavy loading.
