  • Patent number: 8776355
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and device for fixing a faucet to a mounting (1), such as a worktop or a sinktop. A fixing collar (2) is fastened to the top surface of a mounting by turning from above one or more set screws (3) extending from the fixing collar (2) over a distance below a bottom surface of the worktop. Turning of the screw is used for raising a clamping claw (4), which is in engagement with the threading of said set screw and which is steered by means of a guide (5) extending downward from the fixing collar and used for disallowing a rotation of the clamping claw (4) along with the set screw (3). The bottom end of a faucet body (10) or its extension is fastened around the fixing collar (2) by expanding the fixing collar (2) by an actuation means, such as a screw (8).

  • Patent number: 8584697
Abstract: An easy-to-install faucet structure includes an inner tube, a main body, a water control unit and a water outlet head. The inner tube is disposed in a through space of the main body, and has a tube base that has a plurality of rib units at an inner periphery thereof. A plurality of guiding slots are formed between each rib unit, so that when water inner tubes and a water outlet of the water control unit pass through the inner tube, they can be guided to directly pass through a second path of the connecting portion without further bundling to achieve the goal of easy tube connection and installation to simplify the assembly process.

Abstract: A faucet control structure includes an outlet head, a switch rod and a valve body. The outlet head is provided therein with a through-hole, a downward outlet end and an inlet chamber. The outlet end and the inlet chamber are separated by the through-hole. One end of the switch rod is enlarged to form a pulling head, and the other end is provided with a restricting groove. The valve body has a partitioning plate whose front surface is provided with two clamping claws. An inverted U-shaped flexible piece is integrally formed atop the valve body. Both sides of the flexible piece are provided with a bending section respectively. The bending sections provide a force for supporting the valve body when the valve body is compressed by an external force, and provide a restoring force to the valve body after the external force is removed.

Abstract: A faucet has a hollow main body. The main body has a mounting section, an extending section, at least one inlet and a passage. The mounting section has a top and a bottom. The extending section is mounted securely on the top of the mounting section and has an extending direction and at least one elongated outlet. The at least one elongated outlet is formed in the extending section and has a maximal length along the extending direction of the extending section. The at least one inlet is formed in the bottom of the mounting section. The passage is formed in the main body and communicates with the at least one elongated outlet and the at least one inlet. Because the elongated outlets are elongated along the extending direction of the extending section, an efflux from the elongated outlet can conform to hands of users and enhance washing efficiency.
