The material feeding container (24) has a material supply opening (30) oriented upward, two feed cylinder openings (34) arranged in the front wall (36) of the container and a transfer tube having the shape of an S-tube (42), which is arranged inside the container with its input end (48) swiveling in an alternating manner in front of the feed cylinder openings (34) and mounted on the output side in a feed-through opening (46) of the rear wall (38) of the container that is arranged above the feed cylinder openings. A pressure pipe (40) is connected to the outer side of the rear wall (38) of the container, the output side (44) of the S-pipe (42) leading into said pressure pipe. According to the invention, a maintenance opening (56) is arranged on the rear wall (38), which is formed by an opening defined by a peripheral edge (58).

The valve housing and the valve closure body respectively have flushly aligned bores that have the same contour and the same diameter as each other, and that are directly adjoining each other in the closed position. This diameter is equal to the clear inner diameter of the piggable line. For opening and closing the second line, the valve closure body is movable in the valve housing in the axial direction of the bore thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to a valve for changing the flow direction of a fluid in conduits, which conduct the fluid to and from, respectively, a heat exchanger. Heat exchangers used in systems where the cooling water is taken from natural streams, river water, sea water etc often have problems with clogging. A method of keeping the heat exchanger clean is to regularly backflush it, i e to reverse the flow direction for example a few times every day, so that silt and particles, which have got stuck in the inlet region of the heat exchanger, are flushed out the same way as they entered. The valve according to the invention comprises a cylindrical casing and a valve body (18) enclosed therein. The conduits, which conduct the fluid to and from, respectively, said heat exchanger, are connected to two diametrically arranged connection tubes in the respective end plate on the casing, and by rotation of the valve body substantially 90.degree.

The excavator includes a movable member disposed within the conduit to pulse gas passing through the conduit and a supersonic gas nozzle at the exit of the conduit. Compressed gas delivered to the conduit exits the nozzle in a pulsed manner at two to three Hz. The movable member includes a piston which blocks gas from flowing through the conduit by the biasing force of a spring. When the force from the pressure differential across the piston exceeds the biasing force, the piston moves and allows gas to flow through the conduit until the force from the pressure differential across the piston is less than the biasing force.

Abstract: A pump valve assembly includes a pair of pistons containing cylinder bores opening to a front wall for conveying a concrete mixture from a feed chamber to a delivery tube. A pivotal S-bend tube establishes fluid communication between two valve body wear rings and the delivery tube to cause a translational movement of the input port to the valve assembly between two operative positions in which the input port is in register with the wear rings, the S-bend tube also being engaged with a wear ring. During use, compression of the valve assembly against a positive displacement pump is achieved solely at the front wall of the assembly, with the delivery tube at the rear wall providing only alignment and support, thereby enabling rapid disassembly and access to the valve body and S-bend wear rings.
