  • Patent number: 9574705
Abstract: A hose reel can be attached to a compressed air tank of an air compressor to provide pneumatic hose storage directly at the compressor. The hose reel includes a bracket that attaches to the compressed air tank with a strap. The bracket supports a hose reel about which the pneumatic hose can be wrapped. Once installed, the hose reel keeps the pneumatic hose neatly on the reel and ready for use. If the compressor is a portable compressor, since the hose reel attaches to the compressed air tank of the compressor, the hose reel becomes portable, along with the compressor itself.

  • Patent number: 9010481
Abstract: Separate from the vehicle's engine, a self-contained internal combustion engine supplies hydraulic power to drive a product pump on a bobtail. The self-contained engine, which can itself run on propane, is provided as part of a preassembly which includes the hydraulic pump, the hydraulic fluid tank, a heat exchanger, and a solenoid controlled start-up valve. The preassembly is mounted as a unit to the side of the bobtail in front of the rear wheels, powering the product pump at the rear of the bobtail while the vehicle's engine is off.

  • Patent number: 9010367
Abstract: The controller of the plural component proportioner (10) dispenses both components (or all three if a three component material) as necessary to maintain the correct mix ratio. The fluid displacement measuring technique described allows this proportioning to take place with the “A” or main component pump always able to supply fluid to the spray gun without being stopped. The “B” component, at a higher pressure, is added as necessary to control ratio. The control can determine whether the pumps were properly loaded with fluid, and the fluid was properly compressed for accurate measurement. This technique allows for the proportioned fluids to be provided to the spray gun(s) at high flow rates and consistent spray pressure without interruption.

  • Publication number: 20150034196
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a portable dunnage bag inflator that provides a compact, pressurized source of air and that is easily mounted onto a movable cargo mover (such as a forklift truck or a pallet jack). Generally, the portable dunnage bag inflator includes an impellor-driven blower that, in operation, draws air at atmospheric pressure through an air intake grid or air inlet into the impellor and expels the air through an inflation hose. Since the portable dunnage bag inflator includes an impellor-driven blower, the pressure of the expelled air is higher than atmospheric pressure. This enables dunnage bags to be inflated to the desired specifications at point-of-use (e.g., during or after loading of cargo into a cargo container) and eliminates the need for a compressed air supply.

  • Patent number: 8851111
Abstract: The controller of the plural component proportioner (10) dispenses both components (or all three if a three component material) simultaneously (at least initially) and maintains ratio at the end of each predetermined volume of material by determining which component pump (12) has reached the desired amount of travel (given the resolution available) and using a valve (16) to shut off output of that pump until the other side has caught up. At pump changeover, the output valve for that pump (12) is shut off and the air motor (12a) allowed to run until travel stops to account for cavitation, air entrainment, compressibility, or poor inlet check performance.

  • Publication number: 20140166117
Abstract: The invention aims at pressurising a volume (2) that needs to have a relative air pressure, in comparison with an ambient pressure, where the ambient air pressure can change rapidly and with large amplitude and where the access to pressurised air is limited. This is solved by a half open system comprising two parallel regulators (9) and (17) and two ejectors (15) and (19) working according to a split range control principle. When the relative air pressure difference is above a desired value of the second regulator (17), only the first regulator and the first ejector work. When the relative air pressure difference is below the desired value of the second regulator (17), both regulators (9) and (17) and ejectors (15) and (19) work. In this way the pressure inside the volume (2) can adapt rapidly to the changes in the ambient pressure, without leaking too much air during a static condition.

After transferring the used water from the second wash tank into the first wash tank, water from a third wash tank is transferred through the movable line section to the first wash tank. The washings collected in the first wash tank can be reused as a first washing for a next movable line section to be cleaned.

  • Patent number: 6810901
Abstract: A foot-actuated condensate drain for an air compressor tank. The foot-actuated condensate drain includes a lever that is connected to a valve on the bottom of the air compressor tank. Movement of the lever, for example by a user's foot, causes the drain valve to open. The lever may be moved to a locked position where the drain valve is held in an open position, even if the user releases his or her foot. The valve stem of the valve is hollow and includes a seal for closing off the opening, and radial holes below the seal and in fluid communication with a hollow interior portion of the stem. When moved away from the closed position, fluid in the compressor tank flows out of the opening, around the seal, into the radial holes, through the stem, and out of the valve.

  • Patent number: 6786560
Abstract: An air supply system for a large vehicle air brake system includes an air compressor for supplying compressed air. The compressed or pressurized air is routed to an air dryer which includes a desiccant bed through which the compressed air flows for drying. The air dryer is located between a wet tank and a dry tank for the air supply system and air moves from the dryer to the wet tank. From the wet tank the air passes through a conduit through the air dryer to the dry tank. The air dryer is mounted on tracks allowing it to withdrawn from between the air tanks for replacement or service.

  • Patent number: 6755255
Abstract: The disclosed invention comprises an apparatus and method for producing hydrocarbons from an oil well where no production lines are in place, or where the backpressure of existing production lines is higher than the surface pressure of the oil well, preventing flow of the hydrocarbons into the production lines. The apparatus comprises a production assembly which may be mounted on either a flatbed trailer or on a liftable skid unit. The production assembly comprises a two-phase separator for separating liquid and gas phases. The production assembly further comprises a flexible flowline which is wrapped around a spooling drum. A first end of the flexible flowline receives the fluids from the two-phase separator. The second end of the flexible flowline is attached to a production facility or production line. The production assembly may further comprise pumping and compression means, liquid measurement means and gas measurement means.

Abstract: A portable gas supply apparatus comprises first and second storage tanks, a first pressure reducing device, a manifold and a first pneumatic connector fitting. The first storage tank includes an internal cavity for holding a supply of a pressurized fluid at a relatively high pressure, and is thermally uninsulated such that the pressurized fluid therewithin remains at ambient temperature. The first pressure reducing device has an inlet in fluid communication with the internal cavity of the first storage tank and an outlet. The first pressure reducing device reduces the pressure of fluid flowing therethrough from the relatively high pressure at the inlet to a first relatively lower pressure at the outlet. The manifold has a plurality of manifold connection points in fluid connection with one another. A first of the manifold connection points is in fluid communication with the outlet of the first pressure reducing device.
