Abstract: An intermediate insulating product (20) is disclosed comprising a planar insulating layer (11) having a top side in to which is formed a plurality of parallel channels (14) having cross-sections with tapered sides. A vapor proof layer (18) is applied to the top surface after the channels (14) have been formed such that the vapor proof layer (18) bridges the plurality of parallel channels (14). The intermediate insulating product (20) is then bent with mechanical manipulation in regions adjacent the bottom of the channels (14) thereby causing the channels (14) to close to form a non-planar, derivative insulated ductwork product (30) and the vapor proof layer (18) forms a vapor proof inner lining to the derivative insulated ductwork product (30).

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a tube for cable sheath and the cable sheath using the same. The front end of each tube is connected to the rear end of another one. Two side plates are connected to another tube. A cable is received in the cable sheath. Thereby, when a brake cable is received in the cable sheath, the side plates are connected to another tube so as to restrict one of the bending direction degree of the cable that can avoid the cable sheath being bended in all direction. It is important that the side plates can protect the connecting point of each tube quite well and enhance the structure intensity of the whole cable sheath. After standardizing the specification of the present invention, it can be connected to many kinds of products. The present invention has abundant variability and achieves the best efficacy.

The first portion of flowline can be a subsea flowline extending along a sea floor, and the second portion of flowline can be a riser.

Abstract: A hose or cable protector has a pair of articulating guides, each with rollers for creating an arcuate hose path around the sharp corner of a tunnel mouth which would otherwise cause abrasion to the hose. A stop imposes a guide to guide angle of eighty (80) degrees but the usual angle is greater and up to one hundred and twenty (120) degrees. Arches span the guides and retain the protector on the hose or cable. In a variant, the arches are spring loaded and adjustable to retain or release the hose. A control line positions the protector at the selected site.

Abstract: Hose system for use in an hydraulic system, includes a working hose for the transfer of hydraulic fluid having a pressure substantially higher than atmospheric pressure, and a safety hose surrounding the working hose, the working hose and the safety hose being tightly joined. A pressure transmitter is arranged for indicating a rise in pressure in a space between the two hoses. The system includes at least one bushing for releasable connection to the working hose and the safety hose. The cross-section of the safety hose allows space for the passing of the end couplings of the working hose. The bushing includes a space communicating with the space between the working hose and the safety hose, the space being in communication with a pressure transmitter able to signal an increase in pressure in the space between the working hose and the safety hose.

The pipe is lightweight, low cost, and simply structured with a small number of components, having sufficient resistance to water and pressure, and excellent sealing performance without the use of robust material or requiring high precision, and capable of being easily connected and manufactured. A first corrugated synthetic resin pipe 1A is provided at an end 10 with a cylindrical insert end 3 formed by adhering a synthetic resin layer 5 to the outer surface of the end 10 so as to fill at least corrugated recesses a. A second corrugated synthetic resin pipe 1B is provided at an end 11 with a socket 4 formed by adhering synthetic resin to the outer surface of the end 11 and cylindrically extending the resin outwardly in the axial direction.

An inner tubular member is provided and has an exterior surface. The inner tubular member has a second angular offset. The inner tubular member has at least one engagement end received within the interior bore of the outer tubular member. A desired cumulative angular offset is selected by relative rotation of the outer tubular member and the inner tubular member to adjust the positioning of the first angular offset relative to the second angular offset. A rotational stop is provided that limits relative rotation of the outer tubular member and the inner tubular member to a limited rotational range. A locking sleeve locks the outer tubular member and the inner tubular member in a selected rotational position to fix the cumulative angular offset.
