Abstract: A faucet includes a spout, a water level sensor, and a controller. The spout includes a water outlet having a first set of nozzles oriented at an angle with respect to a central axis defined by the water outlet such that water discharged from the first set of nozzles converges at the central axis at a focal distance from the water outlet. The water level sensor is disposed on the spout, and is configured to detect a distance between the water outlet and a level of water in a container disposed below the water outlet. The controller is configured to control the flow of water through the water outlet based on a comparison between the detected distance and the focal distance.
Abstract: A device for cutting through pile threads on a weaving machine, including a cutting means (6), connected to a transmission body (5), and a rotatable drive means (1), which rotates alternately in the one and the other rotational direction and meshes with the transmission body (5) so that its rotation motions are converted into a back-and-forth displacement of the cutting means (6), wherein, via the transmission body (5), a pushing force is exerted on the cutting means (6). The transmission body (5) can be non-endless and interact with one rotatable drive means (1). Also, a weaving machine provided with such a cutting device.
Abstract: The present invention provides fabrics with cut loop group and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the core yarn at the section where said loops are being cut is outwardly protruded from the covering yarns, while the rayon yarn, which is a core yarn, is separated into multiple filaments. The fabrics with cut loop group show superior characteristics in polishing properties, sliding properties, water absorption properties, rapid drying properties and feeling of touch since polishing can be performed while easily catching foreign substances such as extremely minute dust particles or human hairs and the like by the rayon yarn, which is a core yarn, functioning as a hook. Thus the fabrics with cut loop group according to the present invention can be used usefully in the products such as various kind of mats, towels, bathroom products, and the like including dishclothes and mops.
Abstract: A method for weaving a carpet including tying a row of knots with a yarn and weaving two or more weft strands next to the row of knots, where the weft strands are 100% cotton and the yarn is wool yarn hand-carded and hand-spun into a single strand is described.
Abstract: A velvet ribbon with double-sided nap is produced by weaving three superimposed webs (8, 10, 12) connected to each other by nap threads (14). The nap threads (14) of the above triple web are separated between the middle web (8) and a first web (10) in a first cutting device (36, 36a). In a second cutting device (46, 46a) the nap threads between the middle web (8) and the second web (12) are separated to give the middle web as a double-sided velvet ribbon (8). The corresponding ribbon weaving machine (2) comprises three superimposed weaving points (31) each with a weft introduction body and a common shedding device (16). A first cutting device (36) for cutting the nap threads (14a) between the middle web (8) and a first web (12) and a second cutting device (46) for cutting the nap threads (14b) between the middle web (8) and the second web (10) are provided afterwards. The velvet ribbon (8) produced thus has a nap (56, 58) on both sides.
Abstract: A device and weaving machine using the device for cutting discarded pile loop weft yarns in a fabric that is composed of a backing fabric consisting of weft yarns and warp yarns and that contains pile warp yarns by which, in one or several zones, pile loops are formed over discarded pile loop weft yarns, device being provided with a cutting blade to cut the discarded pile loop weft yarns, the device comprising a guiding needle that extends between two rows of pile positioned side by side in the direction of the warp, and the device being provided with two or several guiding yarns in the direction of the warp that push this side by side positioned pile away from the guiding needle and the cutting blade in the direction of the weft and that, at the same time, pull the discarded pile loop weft yarns away from the backing fabric in order to present them over the guiding needle to the cutting blade so that they can be severed.
Abstract: A device for separating warp yarns (16), (17) on a face-to-face weaving machine (13), comprising a separating means (1), (2) and a holding device (3,7,9,11), (4,8,9,12) which comprises a threaded adjusting means (11), (12), the adjusting means (11), (12) being provided in such a manner that its rotation will cause the separating means (1), (2) to be moved, because of which the holding height will be changed and adjusted and the adjusting means (11), (12) being able to maintain the adjusting means (1), (2) at the adjusted holding height. Moreover, the holding device (3,7,9,11), (4,8,9,12) will enable an adjustment in the warp-direction. With a similar device adjusting the holding height can be carried out in a very simple and accurate manner and whilst being adjusted the separating means (1), (2) will be unable to make any unwanted and dangerous movements.
