  • Publication number: 20150047736
Abstract: Disclosed are a method, a device and a system of proliferating a thread count of a woven textile by simultaneous insertion within a single pick insertion event of a loom apparatus multiple adjacent parallel yarns drawn from a multi-pick yarn package. In one or more embodiments, multiple texturized polyester weft yarns of denier between 15 and 50 are wound on a single bobbin in a parallel adjacent fashion such that they may be fed into an air jet pick insertion apparatus of an air jet loom to weave a textile that has between 90 to 235 ends per inch cotton warp yarns and between 100 and 765 polyester weft yarns.

  • Patent number: 7537029
Abstract: A thread clamping device is provided for a jet weaving machine that has a main discharge nozzle (1) with a mixing tube (2) for inserting a weft thread (3) into a shed with a conveying fluid discharged from the main discharge nozzle. This clamping device is placed inside the mixing tube (2) in the area from which the weft thread exits, and has an actuator, which is situated outside of the mixing tube (2), and a lever connected to the actuator so that this lever is actuated by the actuator (6) to execute a tilting or pivoting motion whereby the weft thread is clamped between the lever and an abutment (9) in an opening of the mixing tube.

  • Patent number: 6968865
Abstract: This reed for weaving is characterized in that a plurality of reed dents each having a hollow portion in a front edge section are arranged such that the hollow portions are communicated with each other so as to form guide grooves for the weft, the depths of the hollow portions of the reed dents located at least at one end portion are made larger than the depths of the hollow portions of the other reed dents, and that the nearer the central side in the weft insert direction, the smaller the depths of the hollow portions of the reed dents are made so as to become approximate to the depths of said hollow portions of the other reed dents, and further, areas including portions corresponding to the hollow portions in the rear edge section of the reed dents are projected backward.
