Abstract: A circular loom for weaving a weaving core along a weaving axis with at least one shuttle, which comprises a weft thread spool and is movable along a circular orbit path around the weaving core. The orbit path is formed of first track segments arranged one after the other along its circumference and at least one movably arranged or designed guide device is provided, which guides at least one warp thread provided from a warp thread spool on a warp spool device and on which at least a first track segment of the orbit path and at least a second track segment alternatively assignable to the orbit path are arranged and guided, where in the guided absence of the first and second track segment from the orbit path the guided warp thread, crossing the track plane, passes through the orbit path.

Abstract: In order to deflect a warp thread sheet (2) in a weaving machine, a deflecting device (18)is provided which is guided in guides (26) that also guide heald frames (13, 14, 15, 16). The deflecting device positions a segment (46) of the warp thread sheet (2) that starts at a beatup line (7) of the fabric (8) between the beatup line and the heald frames.
Abstract: A circular loom comprises weft ribbon shuttle assemblies and a control system for detecting the position of one of the shuttle assemblies at spaced points about the periphery of the loom, and then presetting warp ribbon-setting air cylinders in advance of each of the shuttle assemblies for subsequent passage of the shuttle assemblies through the resultant warp sheds without engaging the warp ribbons. Electrical brakes control warp and weft tension in a uniform manner. The shuttle assemblies are driven by a gearing from a motor mounted independently of the shuttle assemblies. In a fabric-forming position, each weft ribbon slides transversely under a fabric-forming ring with the longitudinally moving warp shed and into the plane of the formed fabric in engagement with an annular inner surface of the ring, essentially without any twist about a transverse axis of the weft.
Abstract: A polyethylene/polypropylene bag weaving machine includes a cooling system which eliminates the need for power lubrication. Ribbons being fed to the machine pass over a sponge located in a water tank, thereby moistening the ribbons and ensuring that they stay sufficiently cooling as they enter the weaving device.
