Patent number: 12233451Abstract: A rotary cable arranging tool is disclosed. The rotary cable arranging tool is used for untwisting a first and a second cable. The rotary cable arranging tool includes a first annular structure, a first and a second assembly member, and a first and a second hole. The first and the second holes are assembled by the cooperation of the first and the second assemblies so as to be pressed to change a width of an inner diameter. When the first and second cables are in a twisted state, the first and second assemblies are counter-rotated together, so that the first and the second cables are untwisted and enter the first and second holes respectively. Then the first and second holes are tightly combined with the first and second cables, and the first and the second cable are pulled out to be straightened.Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 2023Date of Patent: February 25, 2025Assignee: Hanlong Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chien-Chou Liao, Mei-Fang Lin

Patent number: 12144332Abstract: The fishing knot tying device is a mechanical apparatus. The fishing knot tying device is a manually operated device. The fishing knot tying device incorporates a barrel structure, a corkscrew structure, and a cord structure. The cord structure is configured for use with fishing tackle. The corkscrew structure inserts into the barrel structure such that the corkscrew structure rotates within the barrel structure. The fishing tackle inserts into the barrel structure. The cord structure inserts through the barrel structure. The cord structure attaches to the corkscrew structure. The corkscrew structure ties a knot structure in the cord structure. The knot structure secures the cord structure to the fishing tackle.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 2022Date of Patent: November 19, 2024Inventor: David Blunden

Publication number: 20090308483Abstract: A handheld wire twisting tool for making a wire conductor twisted splice connection. The tool includes a winding disk having a plurality of wire insertion apertures therethrough in an annular array for respective insertion therethrough of the stripped ends of wires to be twisted together. A finger engagement handle extends from the winding disk in substantially the same plane as the winding disk and extends also substantially radially from the annular array of apertures for manipulating the disk with the handle by one's finger for wire winding by rotating the winding disk about the axis of the annular array of apertures. A wire depth stop disk is also provided in spaced relationship from and secured in parallel to the winding disk and overlies the annular array of the apertures whereby wire ends inserted through the apertures will engage in the inside surface of the depth stop disk to meter the proper depth of penetration for winding.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 11, 2008Publication date: December 17, 2009Inventor: Troy James

Patent number: 5752551Abstract: A hand-held wire twister including an upper portion having a handle engageable by an operator for imparting a twisting action to the wire twister. A lower portion has a wire strand engaging head that is coupled to the handle by an extension shaft. The wire strand engaging head flares outward from the extension shaft so that a perimeter of the head is greater that a perimeter of the shaft so that the head establishes a wire engaging portion of the wire twister. The wire engaging portion has at least two wire receiving channels cut thereinto for engaging at least two wire strands to be connectively intertwined by rotational motion of the wire twister; each channel engaging one or more wires. Each of the channels extends from an opening at the perimeter of the head toward a center of the head.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 1996Date of Patent: May 19, 1998Inventor: Joe Trueblood

Patent number: 5605181Abstract: Handheld wire twisting apparatus can be readily applied to a working section of an elongated electrical harness to be twisted, operated to impart twist to the desired extent, then removed after the twist has been secured in the harness. It includes a housing with an integral handle. An internal cylindrical bearing surface defines a transverse axis and includes an inlet into a bearing cavity which is a hiatus in the bearing surface. A c-shaped cylindrical wire twisting head is journaled on the cylindrical bearing surface for rotation about the transverse axis and defines a transverse passageway for reception of a wire bundle to be twisted. The wire twisting head has a peripheral gap for reception of the wire bundle into the transverse passageway when the peripheral gap is coextensive with the inlet in the housing.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 1995Date of Patent: February 25, 1997Assignee: Northrop Grumman CorporationInventor: Cuong T. Patent number: 4732180Abstract: Apparatus for wire wrapping or tying is disclosed, wherein an inner sleeve is telescopically positioned within an outer sleeve, each of which is provided with a handle for imparting relative rotational movement. The wire tie apparatus is adapted to receive wire which is wrapped an object to be tied. The wire passes through the outer sleeve then through the inner sleeve. Apparatus is provided to fricitionally lock the wire at some point along the length of the inner sleeve. Rotation of the inner sleeve relative to the outer sleeve in accordance with specially prepared ends of both the inner and outer sleeves causes the wire to twist and to become wrapped tightly around the object to be wrapped. Further relative rotation causes inelastic extension of the wire and subsequent breakage of the same somewhere along the length of the twisted portion thereof.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 1986Date of Patent: March 22, 1988Inventor: Irving E. Fixel
