Abstract: A rebar tying machine wire feeding disc braking mechanism with positioning device has a braking part for stopping a wire feeding disc and a cam mechanism for controlling actions of the braking part. The cam mechanism has a cam and a push shaft mounted on a fixed seat, capable of axial displacement. One end of the push shaft presses against a rim of the cam and reciprocates along with the changing outline of the rim. A middle portion of the push shaft is a diameter-varying segment and presses against one end of the braking part such that the braking part swings forwards and backwards with the translation of the push shaft, the cam mechanism realizes stopping through the positioning device. The forward rotation inertia of the cam is eliminated such that the cam is stopped.
Abstract: Embodiments of a fence clip installing tool and methods of using it are described. The preferred tool uses a stack of connected fence clips which are loaded in advance for semi-automatic multiple clip installations. Upon actuation, the tool places the simple, pre-shaped clip partially around the fence post, and then bends the clip ends around the wire that runs through the tool and laterally past the fence post. Thus, the clip extends around the back and two sides of the post and surrounds and grips the wire tightly on either side of the post to hold it securely against the front side of the post. The tool quickens the process of clip installation, lessens handling of clips, and results in more uniform installation, with the two clip ends extending in parallel vertical planes around the wire on either side of the post.
Abstract: A method for twisting an elongated cord member to form a permanently twisted cord element is preferably performed utilizing an apparatus which includes first and second end units, first and second securing and twisting assemblies for securing opposite end portions of the cord member to the first end unit and for thereafter axially rotating the opposite end portions of the cord member. The apparatus further includes an intermediate securing assembly on the second end unit for selectively rotatably and non-rotatably securing the cord member to the second end unit at an intermediate point in the cord member.
