Abstract: A connection device allows connection of an anesthetic container (400) to an anesthetic vaporizer (300) in a fluid-tight manner. A port section (1000) of the anesthetic vaporizer can be detachably connected to an adapter (1100) of the port section. With the adapter connected to the port section, a vaporizer-side channel section and a container-side channel section together form a continuous channel for anesthetic. The area of the surface of the port section that points towards the adapter is formed by a vaporizer-side contact profile (K.1, K.8), and the area of the surface of the adapter that points towards the port section is formed by a container-side contact profile (K.25, 28, 31). One contact profile has a projection (1), and the other contact profile has a corresponding recess (25) that contact with one another without an intermediate space. The projection positive-lockingly meshes with the recess.

  • Patent number: 8393364
Abstract: In, for example, a direct methanol type fuelcell, fuel is allowed to be injected little by little when the fuel is injected and supplied from the outside to a fuel receiving part reduced in the amount of remaining fuel on the fuelcell body side and an electromotive part can be prevented from being damaged by keeping the pressure in the fuel receiving part at a fixed level or less when the fuel is injected. Specifically, when a fuel CL filled in a refuelling container C is injected into a fuel receiving part T in several lots, a fuel injecting operation is repeated in which the volume of the refuelling container C is shrunk and reduced to supply the fuel into the fuel receiving part T in a proper amount and then the original volume of the refuelling container is restored to thereby absorb the atmospheric gas in the fuel receiving part T, which makes it possible to inject fuel continuously without any hindrance to the injection of the fuel.

  • Patent number: 7207360
Abstract: A hermetic container and coupling system for transferring granular material from a first container to a second container, the latter being typically an applicator. The first container includes a neck and a base opposite to the former. The base includes through openings that cooperate with a cable passed therethrough for supporting the first container. A nozzle assembly includes an inlet removably connected to the neck and an outlet hat is selectively closed with a removable plug. A cover assembly is selectively and removably mounted to the first container covering the nozzle assembly. A flexible conduit is removably connected to the outlet, at one end, and the other end includes a regulating valve that is actuated from the outside. The other end is removably connected to the second container so that the transfer of the granular material can be accomplished without spillage and the contents are kept hermetically isolated from the outside.

Abstract: A spouted container (10) constructed in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention and configured for storing fluids and transferring the stored fluids to a fluid receiving receptacle such as a lawn mower fluid reservoir (R) is disclosed. The illustrated spouted container (10) broadly includes a storage container (12), a self-venting spout (14) removably coupled to the container (12), a collar (16) for removably coupling the spout (14) to the container (12), and a cap (18) for closing the spout (14) and/or the container (12). The collar (16) cooperates with an inventive sealing disc (32) and a neck (24) to create a gasket-less seal between the spout (14) and the storage container (12) that is adjustable yet prevents undesirable fluid leakage when the spout (14) is in either a pour or a storage position. The spout (14) is a self-venting spout that includes an air-venting passageway (34) formed in part by a flange (60).

Abstract: A syringe guide for a syringe and vial is disclosed. The syringe guide serves as a guide for the needle to be inserted into the vial. The syringe guide can be made in different sizes, with different materials, and using different constructive ways. It consists of a pipe having a large diameter at one end and a small diameter at the opposite end. The vial and syringe are placed in the syringe guide according to their relative diameters. The diameter of the syringe guide can increase due to the slit running the entire length. A wall inside the syringe guide where the small and large diameters of the pipe meet supports the vial. When withdrawing medication while both the vial and the syringe are in the guide, one does not have to hold the vial. The syringe guide makes working with a needle safer, cleaner, and easier.
