    Abstract: A closure for a transportable container used in the transfer of materials to or from an enclosed process area is described. The container docks with a port in a wall of the process area forming a sealed connecting chamber which is sterilized by irradiation. Communication between the interiors of the container and the process area is then established. The closure has a collar and a lid, which portions are formed so that all the surfaces which form part of the connecting chamber in use are in the direct line of the sterilizing radiation, which is normally ultra-violet or pulsed white light radiation. No relevant surface is shadowed from the radiation. The lid may be formed integrally with the collar with a thin web separating the two to define a fracture line. The lid is provided with a grip which can be grasped from within the process area. Application of a pulling force to the grip causes the lid to be pealed away from the collar without the generation of particulates.

    Abstract: A policing key for regulating the type of toner in a copying machine or other toner consuming machine includes a base mounted to the toner-consuming machine and a boss projecting from the base to a position between a port on the machine and a toner bottle cap prior to engagement. The boss protrudes above the periphery of the toner port that contacts an annular brim of the toner bottle cap, precluding the toner bottle from engaging the toner port while the key is in place. Only the annular brim of an approved toner bottle cap, which includes a notch associated with the boss for bypassing the policing key, can be used on in connection with the toner consuming machine. By varying the size and shape of the policing key, the restrictions on the type of toner used in a particular machine can be effectively controlled. In a preferred embodiment, a hardening gel is placed over the base of the policing key such that removal of the base will disturb the hardened gel and indicate a tampering of the key.

When sufficient coolant fills the system, any coolant left in the filling aid may be released by removing a closure clamp previously installed on an overflow tube leading from the deareation chamber so that it drains with no spills from the filling aid to an overflow chamber of the coolant bottle.

In order to achieve functionally reliable docking of the filler nozzle on the filler neck of the vehicle fuel tank and to permit rapid undocking of the filler nozzle from the filler extension, a locking body, urged radially outward by a pretensioning spring, is provided on the outlet side of the filler nozzle.

However, not until the container is squeezed is the plug expelled from the blocked bore and communication established between vial and container.
