  • Patent number: 9189910
Abstract: A banknote processing device is mounted on a mounting table. The banknote processing device includes a stacking unit having an opening for removing banknotes. A dust collection vent is arranged in front of the opening of the stacking unit on the mounting table. A suction fan sucks dust dispersing from the opening of the stacking unit into a dust collection vent. A filter captures the dust from air that is sucked in. A duct expels a dust-free air from an exhaust vent provided in an exhaust passage formed around the suction fan. In another configuration, the dust collection vent is provided inside the stacking unit, and the dust generated inside the stacking unit is sucked in by the suction fan.

  • Patent number: 7971611
Abstract: The combination waste dust extractor and support plate is intended to be used in combination with a conventional woodworking router when the router is used in an inverted position for bench or table use. The apparatus includes a router support plate with the dust extraction feature built into and included with this support plate. The combination support plate and dust extractor is affixed to the router and then both are suspended under the surface of a work table. The dust extraction feature is built into and included with the support plate as follows: within the plate is an internal chamber connecting the router bit opening on the top surface of the plate with an outlet at one corner of the bottom of the plate. A standard shop vacuum is attached to a hose fitting connected to the outlet. The attached shop vacuum creates suction around and beneath the router bit, drawing dust and particles through the chamber and into the attached shop vacuum.
