Abstract: A single and multiple abrasive structure support system has a multiple support structure which facilitates use of snail lock and Frankfurt shoe adaptive support with a stepped surface which enables the snail lock adapter to enabling support of an abrasive structure beyond and at a distance clearance from Frankfurt shoe rails. The single abrasive structure support includes a snail lock. Both single and multiple abrasive structure support systems incorporate a pair of plates for absorbing force and energy, especially resulting from uneven surfaces being textured, such as stone.
Abstract: A grinding tool carrier (1) having substantially circular grinding discs (2), on which an abrasive covering is detachably secured, wherein chip-removing cutters (4) are arranged on the grinding tool carrier (1) and between the grinding discs (2).

Abstract: To reduce the amount of time required to remove and replace a cover plate or cap (42) in an aperture in power tool housing, a cap assembly (32, 34, 38,42) for coupling to a housing of a power tool is proposed, which aperture facilitates location of a drum within, and removal of the drum from, the housing, the cap assembly (32, 34, 36, 38,42) also being for receiving an end of drive shaft of the tool adapted to drive and rotate the drum relative for the tool housing to remove material from a surface of a workpiece, the cap assembly (32, 34,38,42) comprising: a combined clamping (32, 34, 36, 38, 42) and shaft aliggnment with the shaft ena and a clamping position in engagement with the shaft end. To permit both planing and sanding to br performed using a single drum a drum (16) comprising an at least one mounting channel (56) for receiving an at least one planer blade (96) and the drum being adapted (120) to receive a tubolar sanding element (114), is proposed.
Abstract: A wood planing machine includes a base adapted to permit a workpiece to be moved thereon in a front-to-rear direction, a plurality guide posts fixed on the base, a mounting seat sleeved movably on the guide posts, a motor disposed on the mounting seat, and a cutting unit disposed on the mounting seat. The cutting unit includes a rough-plane cutter, a fine-plane cutter disposed behind the rough-plane cutter, a first transmission unit interconnecting the motor and the rough-plane cutter to allow the rough-plane cutter to be driven by the motor, and a second transmission unit interconnecting the rough-plane cutter and the fine-plane cutter to allow rotation of the rough-plane cutter to be transferred to the fine-plane cutter.
Abstract: An apparatus for sizing and sanding a workpiece, the apparatus comprising a housing having a horizontally throughgoing passage, a feed conveyor for advancing the workpiece through the passage, the workpiece having an upper surface that advances through the passage along a pass line, a sanding station for finishing the upper surface, and a planing station for sizing the workpiece along the upper surface. The planing station of the present invention has a driven planer head, an antikickback assembly, a chip-break assembly, and means for disengaging the planing station to convert the apparatus from a planing and sanding configuration to a sanding-only configuration.
Abstract: A process for the manufacturing of longitudinal profiles such and tongue and groove on boards wherein the process includes the steps;
a) Moulding a substantial part of the profile cross-section by means of milling with a milling tool.
b) Fine moulding undercuts in at least the groove of the board by means of broaching utilising at least one broaching tool.
Abstract: Apparatus (10) and a method for finishing a workpiece (12) are performed by a first spindle (24) that rotatably mounts a milling cutter (28) about a central axis A and a second spindle (32) also mounted on the support for rotation about the central axis A to mount a grinding wheel. The first spindle (24) has an annular shape that extends around the second (32), and the apparatus includes a drive (38) capable of rotating the first spindle (24) at a slower rate than the rotation of the second spindle (32) such that milling and grinding operations can be performed at effective speeds. An axial slide (40) mounts the first spindle (24) for rotation and for axial movement along the central axis with the second spindle (32) on which the grinding wheel (36) is mounted located within the annular support.
Abstract: This combination tool (10) includes a body (12) attachable to a drill press (16) by means of a shaft (14). The body includes an end face (34) for attachment of an abrasive finishing disc (36) and provides a mounting for cutter inserts (40). Each cutter insert includes a horizontal cutting edge (46') and a vertical cutting edge (48'). The cutter inserts (40) are generally rectangular and are mounted to vertical abutment bearing faces (52) on the body, utilizing a single fastener (56).
