Abstract: A floor cleaning system having a flat headed mop is provided. The system includes a bucket having a plurality of compartments. At least one compartment is provided for cleaning the flat headed mop to remove dirt and debris accumulated during use. A second compartment is provided for recharging the mop pad with fluid. At least one wringer device is operably coupled to one of the plurality of compartments. The at least one wringer device having an extractor element to remove at least a portion of fluid from the mop pad.

Abstract: A body scrubbing appliance adapted for detachably holding a variety of different loofahs having ropes of varying lengths. The body scrubbing appliance includes a handle including a channel, a loofah support including a loofah holder and support stem where the support stem moves axially within the channel, via a compression spring, when excessive force is applied to the loofah holder to provide comfort when washing and scrubbing a person's body. The handle includes a series of protrusions for releasably attaching ropes of different loofahs to securely retain loofahs within the loofah holder of the appliance.

Abstract: Provided is a mopping unit including: a mop base, a head unit and a coupling element; wherein the coupling element having two parallel elongated reinforcing end segments integral with and flanking a central, coupling segment; the base, being a single-piece molded article having a bottom face and a top face; two elongated bores are formed in elongated abutments on the top face, each accommodating one of the two reinforcing end segments; the base being configured for attaching a mopping substrate on the bottom face; and wherein the head unit being pivotally coupled to said central segment to permit it to pivot about a first axis essentially parallel to said central segment and including a receptacle for an end of a mopping handle.

Abstract: The present disclosure has a head part 1 for attaching a cleaning sheet P, and a handle part 2 that is connected to the head part 1 and is for a user to grasp, wherein a plurality of line-shaped ribs, which are formed so as to be line-shaped a bottom surface view of the head part 1, are formed in a bottom surface of the head part 1. A cleaning tool that can improve the collection of dirt with a cleaning sheet can thus be provided.

Abstract: A wetting device for flat mops includes a mechanical elevator that contains a contact structure, brackets, and plastic slide bars. The brackets lift the transfer plate away from the lower end of the wetting device if the contact structure is pressed towards the lower end. Each bracket is connected to at least one plastic side bar. The plastic slide bars move apart from each other when the transfer plate lifts away from the lower end. The transfer plate lies upon the plastic slide bars during movement of the plastic slide bars apart from each other. Each plastic slide bar has a length that is at least five times larger than its maximum width and is detachable from its corresponding bracket. The contact structure is a flat metal framework of connected struts. Also disclosed is a cleaning trolley with the wetting device.

Abstract: A hole cleaning apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus comprises an elongated member, a looped member, a hook type fastener member and a plurality of cleaning members. The looped member extends from the elongated member and the hook type fastener member extends from the looped member. The looped member comprises a loop to detachably receive at least one of a plurality of cleaning members and the hook type fastener member fastens the looped member to the elongated member. The looped member and the hook type fastener member are configured to securely hold the cleaning member in place. The elongated member, looped member and hook type fastener member form a unitary body. The hole cleaning apparatus is configured to detachably couple with a rotary drive member to provide rotational motion. The rotary drive member is configured to rotate the plurality of cleaning members to clean a hollow object. The rotary drive member could be any device configured to provide rotational motion.

Abstract: A cleaning apparatus includes different combinations of a reduced compressible material substrate and a thicker paddle head, and a reduced radius tip to clean sharp corners. A slide lock holds one pin end of the handle to the cleaning head. A small sized cleaning head with at least two reduced radius tips is also disclosed.

Abstract: A back scrubber for use with a variety of different washcloths includes an elongate shaft, a frame attached to a distal end of the shaft and a set of flexible teeth extending from the frame toward the center of the frame. The frame defines an inner area over which the washcloth wraps to define a back scrubbing surface. The tips of the teeth form an opening through which an excess portion of the washcloth that wraps over the inner area and the frame enters to be in contact with an under side of the back scrubbing surface of the washcloth.

The present invention relates to a cleaning tool comprising a holding tool for holding a cleaning sheet. In a state in which holding parts of the holding tool are inserted into insertion parts of the cleaning sheet, tension imparting parts of the holding parts impart tensile force on second regions of the cleaning sheet to form tension portions, and sheet members in the tension portions in a length-intersecting direction are moved in directions in which first regions are disposed.

The mop tool includes an elongated stick; and a plate-shaped cleaning head rotatably coupled to one end of the stick and having two or more mop fasteners that have different coupling types. Abstract: A device for swabbing a surface and collecting a substance therefrom comprises a handle and a sponge releasably mounted to the handle. The handle includes at least one gripping member adapted to engage the sponge and retain the sponge mounted to the handle in a first position of the gripping member, the gripping member being adapted upon pressure exerted on an actuator to move the gripping member to a sponge-release position thereof for releasing the sponge from the handle. Typically, there are provided two opposed gripping members, wherein the pressure is exerted by a user's fingers on each gripping member and towards one another. The gripping members are actuated to the sponge-release position without requiring that the user substantially moves his/her hand and fingers longitudinally along the handle.

Abstract: A foldable duster can be folded to enable selective use of a single-sided or double-sided pile as well as a change in length of the duster. The duster includes a stationary member whose two ends form a pivotally connecting portion and a fastening portion respectively. The fastening portion is configured for connecting with a handle. The pivotally connecting portion is pivotally connected with a folding member. A dusting sleeve coated with pile threads is mounted around the stationary member and the folding member. The folding member can be swung to a position where the folding member and the stationary member form a straight line, thereby straightening the dusting sleeve and extending the duster to its full length. When the folding member is swung to overlap the stationary member, the dusting sleeve becomes folded, and the duster is shortened. Thus, the foldable duster provides convenience of use.

A cleaning device comprises a housing having an internal cavity configured to retain a cleaning fluid, a dispenser in fluid communication with the internal cavity and having a dispensing surface configured to dispense at least a portion of cleaning fluid from the internal cavity, and a wiper having a wiping surface configured to wipe dispensed fluid from a surface being cleaned.

Abstract: The mop frame comprises a first plate pivotably connected to a handle attachment at a first pivot. A second plate is pivotably connected to the first plate at a second pivot such that it is movable between a first position where the second plate is substantially coplanar with the first plate and a second position where the first plate is substantially parallel to the second plate and is disposed on top of the second plate. A latch secures the first plate to the second plate when the second plate is in the second position.

Abstract: A mop having a base plate, a top plate, a handle, and a lock assembly to connect the top plate to the base plate. The base plate has a lower surface configured to face a surface to be cleaned, and an upper surface opposite the lower surface. The handle has a proximal end connected to the top plate by a joint, and a distal with a grip at the distal end. The lock assembly includes one or more slots on one of the base plate and the top plate, and one or more projections on the other of the base plate and the top plate. The one or more projections are movable between an engaged position in which the one or more projections are in the one or more slots, and a disengaged position in which the one or more projections are not in the one or more slots.

The tool head includes a frame that supports a first engagement panel and a second engagement panel, with each panel disposed on an underside of the frame. A second plate is pivotably connected to the first plate at a second pivot such that it is movable between a first position where the second plate is substantially coplanar with the first plate and a second position where the first plate is substantially parallel to the second plate and is disposed on top of the second plate. A latch secures the first plate to the second plate when the second plate is in the second position.

Abstract: A mop head which provides for both the reliable securement of a cleaning element to the mop head and for simple and efficient installation and removal of the cleaning element from the mop head is presented. The mop head includes a first securement member and a second securement member adapted for securing a cleaning element to the mop head, wherein the first securement member is pivotally connected to the second securement member at a pivot joint. The securement members are movable about the pivot joint into a use position and change position. The cleaning element can be mated to the securement members in the change position and movement of the securement members to use position secures cleaning element to the mop head for use. A latch locks the securement members in the use position to prevent movement of the securement members about the pivot joint.

Abstract: A cleanroom mop for cleaning all critical surfaces within a cleanroom. The cleanroom mop includes a mop head frame with at least one hollow area within the mop head frame that is accessible by at least one opening located on the top of the mop head frame, a handle attached to the mop head frame, and a mop head that is attachable to the mop head frame which has opposing sides and at least one snap fastener on each of the opposing sides where the snap fasteners can be snapped together to connect the opposing sides of the mop head.

Abstract: A spray mop utilizing a latch and an auxiliary latch that prevents a hinge bar of a mop head from separating and keeping either a cloth mop or a string mop in place. The spray mop utilizes a spray mop that is activated by the use of a lever near the handle of the spray mop. In another embodiment, the hinge bar just uses a latch without an auxiliary latch.

Abstract: A hand operated sweeping mop applicator with a unique disposable cloth retaining assembly where the cloth is retained by cloth retaining members attached to the bottom of a top plate which extend perpendicularly away from a bottom of the top plate and extend through aligned openings in a bottom plate to retain a cleaning cloth against a bottom surface of the bottom plate. Separation force members such as force springs are sandwiched between the bottom of the top plate and the top of the bottom plate and retained in a compressed state buy a force from a shotgun closing member.

Abstract: A mop with a disposable cloth retaining assembly where the cloth is retained by cloth retaining members attached to the bottom of attaching plates on a main body, with a right and left cloth releasing plate between the main body and the cleaning cloth, the cloth releasing plates retained in a closed position against the main body by ratchet teeth engaged in notches of a respective notched collar to overcome a force of downward force compression springs. When a retaining force is removed, the downward spring force of force compression springs causes the cloth releasing plate to move away from the main body, the downward movement of the cloth releasing plate being limited. The cleaning cloth is separated from the cloth retaining members so that the dirty cleaning cloth falls away.

Abstract: A cleaning member mounting holder for a mop is disclosed. The cleaning member mounting holder comprises: a shaft for mounting a cleaning member, the shaft having opposite ends, and a pair of mounting members each having a hole, the opposite ends of the shaft being mounted in the holes of the pair of mounting members respectively, wherein the ends of the shaft are movable substantially perpendicularly to the shaft axis in the holes of the pair of mounting members.

Abstract: A mop comprises a handle and a first frame member comprising a first side and a second side. The handle is connected to the first side at a translating pivot such that the handle may translate and pivot relative to the first frame member. A second frame member has a third side and a fourth side connected to the first frame member at a hinge such that the second frame member can move relative to the first frame member between a first position where the first side is connected to the third side and a second position where the second side is disposed adjacent the fourth side. A method of using the mop is also provided.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a mop include a user-manipulatable control operable by a user to generate attachment of a mop pad to a mop head and/or release of the mop pad from the mop head. The user-manipulatable control can be located on a handle of the mop in some embodiments, and on the mop head in other embodiments. Abstract: A fixing device for a moping cloth of a flat mop includes a main plate, two sub-plates and two cloth boxes. The main plate has a top Velcro, a bottom Velcro, a rod pivotally fixed at a center of a top surface, two passages formed along two lengths of a bottom surface respectively, and a sealing plate sealing each end of each passage. Each sealing plate has a lower portion cut with a fitting entrance. Each cloth box has a bottom Velcro to correspondingly fasten with the top Velcro of the main plate beside the rod. Each sub-plate has a bottom Velcro and two engaging feet to correspond to the passages of the main plate. So, plural moping cloths can be fastened with the main plate and the sub-plates.

Abstract: A cleanroom mop for cleaning all critical surfaces within a cleanroom. The cleanroom mop includes a mop head frame with at least one hollow area within the mop head frame that is accessible by at least one opening located on the top of the mop head frame, a handle attached to the mop head frame, and a mop head that is attachable to the mop head frame which has opposing sides and at least one snap fastener on each of the opposing sides where the snap fasteners can be snapped together to connect the opposing sides of the mop head.

Abstract: An improved mop system and method is provided including a T-shaped handle and a mop head. The handle comprises an elongated cylindrical shaft with a crossbar perpendicularly attached at the base of the shaft. The mop head comprises a sheet of flexible, absorbent first material and a sheet of flexible, reinforcing second material attached to a central area of the absorbent first material, with the joined absorbent first material and reinforcing second material configured with a generally circular central hole. The central hole is sized and shaped to accommodate the handle shaft, allowing the mop head to be fitted over the shaft and drawn down the shaft to be suspended over the crossbar. Preferably the mop head also comprises a third material attached near one or both outer edges of the absorbent first material. Thus the improved mop system provides an easily removable, launderable, and re-installable mop head.

The device may include a handle. A blade may be attached to the handle. An outer blade edge may surround the blade. An opening through the blade may be defined by an inner blade edge. A channel may pass through the blade and may extend from the inner blade edge to the outer blade edge, and may be defined by a first channel edge and a second channel edge. The compressible portion of the cleaning implement may be passed through the channel into the opening and may be held in the opening by engagement with the inner blade edge. Each of the first and second channel edges may respectively define first and second circumferentially directed points configured to poke into the compressible material.

The working region includes a plurality of links pivotally connected in series such that each link is pivotally connected to at least one adjacent link, with an inner one of said links pivotally connected to the base. Respective articulated joints pivotally connect the inner link to the base and pivotally connect each link to at least one adjacent link. Each joint includes a first side comprising at least two ears and a second side comprising at least one tab located between and slidably abutted with the at least two ears of said first side. Each joint further includes a fastener pivotally connecting the first and second joint sides. A fabric, feather, or other dusting member is connected to the working region.

Abstract: A cleaning implement 1 including a cleaning article 10 having a pocket 15 and a holder 20 adapted to be inserted into the pocket 15 to hold the cleaning article 10. The pocket 15 of the cleaning article 10 has a counter bumping portion 18 in the middle between the inlet opening at one end and the opposing end thereof. The holder 20 includes a handle 21, an insertion portion 22 extending from one end of the handle 21, and a retaining means 24 for retaining the vicinity of the inlet opening of the cleaning article 10. The insertion portion 22 has a bumping portion 23 that allows the insertion portion 22 to be inserted into the pocket 15 with no substantial obstruction until it reaches a bumping position where it bumps against the counter bumping portion 18 and then restricts further insertion beyond the bumping position.

Abstract: A cleaning implement comprises a handle (1), a plate frame (2) connected to the handle, and a mop (3) that is detachably attached to the plate frame. At least one pair of holding members, consisting of a permanent magnet and a counterpart cooperating therewith, has been arranged for holding of the mop (3) onto the plate frame (2). The magnet and the counterpart have been attached to the plate frame (2) and to the mop (3), respectively, so that they face each other in the operating position of the mop. The counterpart may consist of a permanent magnet or a ferromagnetic substance and it has been anchored, for example, by sewing inside the mop (3) under a fabric that forms the upper surface of the mop.

Each set of strands has one end fastened in the arcuate section after inserting through the aperture to be retained by the sharp protuberances.

Abstract: A cleaning tool having a cleaning head disposed at the distal and of an elongated, extendable shaft. A handle at the proximal end contains a lever attached to a linkage. The cleaning head has an elbow joint and provides an attachment point for an upper support arm and a lower support arm movable with respect thereto. The elbow joint allows the cleaning head to be rotated with respect to the distal end of the elongated, extendable shaft. Two-sided pads may be attached to distal ends of both the upper arm and the lower arm. Each two-sided pad may have a different cleaning property on each of its two major faces. This allows up to four different cleaning surfaces to be present at the cleaning head of the cleaning tool of the present invention. A linkage is provided between the lever and the lower support arm.

Abstract: The dust mop with multiple handle holders is a dust mop having a handle, a dust mop frame, and a dust mop head. The frame has multiple handle holders, including a central handle holder in the center of the fame and another handle holder at one or both ends of the frame so that the handle can be attached to the central handle holder for general use, and may optionally be attached to a handle holder at the end of the frame to dust under objects raised above the floor and in areas too narrow to accommodate a conventional dust mop. The first edge and second edge meet at a leading point. The third edge is concave. The floor cleaning tool is capable of supporting a wipe.

Abstract: A cleaning apparatus is comprised of an elongate handle and a cleaning head at one end of the handle. The cleaning head includes a pair of panels that can be moved relative to each other. The panels support a micro fiber cleaning pad. The cleaning pad can be released from the panels after use without manually touching the pad, thereby enabling disposal of a contaminated cleaning pad while reducing the potential for cross contamination to a user of the apparatus.

Abstract: The present invention is for a duster with an extension handle for allowing the user to clean in hard to reach areas. This unique device provides an easier method of removing dust, dirt, cobwebs, and other debris from the tops of door and window frames, ceilings, ceiling fan blades, behind appliances and hard to move pieces of furniture, picture frames, and other hard to reach places. Many users, including short, pregnant, elderly, or disabled people, as well as any person having a limited range of mobility, would benefit from the use of this product. The duster with extension handle would consist of a long, plastic handle with a series of detachable cleaning heads and a handle extension that provides additional reaching capability. One such cleaning head would feature a flexible wire-coated piece that would be used in conjunction with various removable fabric covers for cleaning. The flexible piece could be bent at various angles for maximum cleaning benefit.

The paired support plates are elastically deformable to permit tip ends thereof to approach each other.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a retaining assembly for a flat mop refill and primarily comprises: a base, having an operative bottom surface and a top; and a plurality of retaining portions provided at least at four corners of the top, wherein each said retaining portion inlaid in the base has hollow interior and an elastic flap positioned thereover on which a plurality of tooth portions are provided in the manner to collectively construct a saw-toothed opening, wherein the tooth portions are arranged in a staggered manner and each has at least one grasping portion extended inward the retaining portion so that the mop refill can be grasped by the grasping portions and firmly attached to the base.
