    Abstract: An adapter for connecting a mop frame to a fluid source is provided. The adapter includes a hollow substantially tubular connector portion with a swivel joint at a mop frame connection end, an elongated hollow body portion with a locking tab at each end and a central opening to receive the swivel joint of the tubular connector portion and the locking tabs at the opposed ends of the body portion biased outwardly for selective engagement to the mop frame and for rotation of the mop frame about the axis of the body portion. In addition, a steam mop frame and adapter for connecting the mop frame to a fluid source is provided.

    Abstract: A multipurpose mop is composed of a head, a neck, an urging mechanism, and a handle. The head is composed of an upper member and a lower member which is joined with the upper member by a retaining rod. The neck has a cross rod and a fastening portion. The neck is fastened with the head by the retaining rod which is put through a through hole of the cross rod of the neck. The fastening portion of the neck is engaged with the tubular head and the nut of the urging mechanism. The handle is fastened at one end thereof with the fastening portion of the neck via the urging mechanism. The head can be turned by the urging mechanism so as to position the head to maximize the cleaning effect. The head is capable of holding a mopping cloth, a bundle of bristles and a floor scraper.

    Abstract: A mop carrier is provided for mounting a mop and/or a brush to a mop handle. The mop carrier includes an elongated, continuous resilient blade having a first portion which extends downward at an acute angle, a second portion which curves around on itself and a third, straight portion which is horizontal and longer than the first portion. An upwardly open hollow cylindrical boss and connector are provided on the first portion near its outer end for mounting the mop carrier to the lower end of a mop handle. A hook is provided on the outside of the second portion for detachably retaining the loop of a mop that is sleeved on the third portion. And a set of flanges is provided on the third portion to permit a brush to be slidingly mounted on the third portion.
